The staff is incredibly helpful, any complaint you may have, and we have had only one that was immediately alleviated. The rooms are very modern and full of amenities. They do an upturn service where they sprinkle fresh flowers on the bed, which is very nice. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have had in a long while. Their best restaurant is Villa Rosa, which is managed by Ibrahim bey, who pays attention to the minutest details, even chilling our wine glasses after serving! In the Reservations department Mehmet bey was so kind as to send us a fruit basket and chocolates and wine after learning it was our anniversary, F&B Manager Hayri bey was exceptionally focused on all his guests, Menekse Hnm at Reception extended our checkout to 5 PM which is the latest in any hotel we’ve stayed.. 👏👏👏Wonderful vacation experience thanks to these outstanding individuals. Oh and the beach staff was wonderful, cold towels, spritz spray bottles, free water at the beach!

Stayed at the Bodrum Kempinsky for five days on vacation. This hotel is pricey, but it’s worthwhile, in my opinion, for a stay that is both exciting and relaxing. In fact, I must say it was terrific and first-rate in every way! Where do I begin? For me, the single most important quality of the hotel is its service, meaning the staff. As luxurious as the hotel is, and as much as the grounds are facilities are wonderful, it is the careful attention of the staff, from top to bottom, that makes this Kempinski hotel outstanding. The check-in was smooth and pleasant. The room was FABULOUS: felt like I was in paradise—with the amazing sea and mountain views from the balcony, and the spacious suite with living and bedroom. The room was cleaned daily (more if requested), with turn down service in the evening. The front desk and concierge teams were ALWAYS available for any question, to offer advice, to make reservations and other arrangements. The hotel pools are excellent, though the water was a little cold. So was the water at the private beach—but that’s typical of Bodrum in June. The water, however, is super clear and clean! And you always have that amazing mountain and sea view from the pools and beach. I must single out the two members of the concierge team, Samet and Mevlut, who made our stay wonderful with restaurant recommendations and reservations. The boat ride that they organized was TERRIFIC! A full day out at sea in the Bodrum area, swimming in beautiful, crystal clear water, with wonderful, fresh food on the boat. The food at the hotel restaurants is very good, even if it gets a little repetitive. The waiter staff is always around to assist. The outdoor bar overlooking the pool has that amazing mountain and sea view. A shoutout to Resul who makes spectacular drinks! If one gets tired of the hotel restaurants, one can always go into town and enjoy the many places that Bodrum has to offer—with great recommendations by the concierge team. Again, I must conclude where I began: the staff at this hotel, from top to bottom, was superb! Friendly, professional and capable in every way. They gave me a wonderful send-off when I left and I hope to return one day soon.

It is for the most part a very nice hotel. Huge place with many services but it still feels private. Room was very small. We had the cheapest room category. Upgrade was offered at check-in at an unreasonable rate increase. We did not take it. The resort seemed to be in its opening phase for the season. Many aspects were not ready yet. We did not mind but it could be a problem. Pools are amazing. But for example jacuzzi pool is only partially working. Many jets were broken. My major complaint. The staff are very young and very inexperienced. If I order a bottle of wine in a restaurant I expect I get poured a taste before I accept a bottle. Our waiter had no clue. Poured two huge glasses. Without ever asking if the wine was OK. He even apologized for being a bad waiter. It seems like the hotel does not put much effort into training a staff to 5 * standards. So annoying. Also don’t expect excellent English skills. Now I don’t want to be an ugly American. (I am actually Swiss). If I stay at a 3* resort I don’t expect language skills. Maybe even st a 4 * resort. But at a 5* Resort. For sure. But not here . The mattress in the room a bit hard. No feather pillows. Beach was very nice. You can also enjoy decks right next to the sea. Breakfast is a huge plus. Impressive! I complained to a manager about some of my concerns but little correction was offered. He did take notes and offered to provide feedback to the hotel.

We had a poor stay at the Kempinski for the following reasons: 1) The Air conditioning kept breaking in our room. We had to call engineers out on 2 occasions, at one point speaking a considerable amount of time in our room at a point when we wanted to put our baby to bed. 2) 2 dead rats were noticed by the pool next to the beach. The hotel had to close and disinfect the pool. 3) Very low occupancy levels at the hotel. The rates provided do not reflect this at all. 4) Construction works are taking place in and around the hotel. The hotel is not providing any notice of that before arrival. The Front Office Manager claimed the government had not given the hotel any notice, but the hotel knows full well that another development is being built on the other side of the bay. 5) The level of service is temperamental. When we arrived the food in the Barbarossa restaurant was poor. It did improve as the week progressed, but evidently the service is patchy.

We returned to the Kempinski after a 3 year gap and loved it just as much as before. The hotel had just reopened for the season and was very quiet when we arrived. On arrival, we were upgraded to a very comfortable room, which was hugely appreciated. The staff were fabulous. Always smiling, helpful, friendly and keen to make our stay as perfect as possible. The beach, once the maintenance work had finished, was fantastic, although the sea was particularly cold! It was a shame that all the restaurants weren't open and the sun deck wasn't operational, but we still had a lovely time. To all the staff....THANK YOU. We hope to visit again soon.

This location is highly recommended. Especially the beach is unique in this region. Purely by chance we ended up here. Business partner was looking to buy a new house. This is how we ended up here. Very good reception and treatment by chef Huseyin and Muhammet at the central restaurant. For a great service and attention to customers. A small point of attention was that the served dough dishes could best be served warmer. But this did not detract from the rest. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I spent a week at this beautiful resort, which hands-down has the best location/beach in Bodrum! The service is top-notch. Everyone is very attentive, friendly, and really cares to make your stay memorable. The property offers two large sized outdoor pools, and a beach (not some dock like most Bodrum hotels) with amazing crystal blue waters. Breakfast is superb, and there were no corners cut due to pandemic. Everything is offered, with following all safety/health guidelines. If you are staying more than 3 nights best to venture out for dinner. There are many options in Bodrum. (Our top picks are Ent, Otto, and Naru) In my book two properties can compete with this beautiful resort 1) Mandarin Oriental - no doubt MO per usual sets the bar with an amazing product, and food&beverage concept. But be ready to pay at least 4/5 times the nightly room rates. 2) D Maris - however this property is not in Bodrum, and you have no options outside the resort. So... unless you are ready to shell out lots of money (Mandarin) or spend an entire vacation on the premises (D Maris) this is your hotel! The Kempinski Bodrum - value for money - is by far the best! I would strongly suggest calling the hotel. They have an amazing reservations team/manager. And certainly consult with their first-class concierge team. They assisted with many of our planning. Great property. AMAZING location and beach, legendary service!

This is my 4th visit to the Kempinski in Bodrum. I am here with the family (we took 3 rooms) since yesterday. Many friends have warned me that the standards have dropped and that the Mandarin now offers a significantly better experience. We did not heed their advice as we always liked the views and the service of the Kempinski. However it is clear that standards have dropped. Some examples; 1) The great majority of the staff doesn’t speak any English. For a 5-star international hotel, this is not right. 2) There is a significant reduction in the number of service staff. At the beach you can’t call on anyone, you have to get up and place your order. Their ‘remote’ iPhone-based ordering system doesn’t work properly. 3) The level of cuisine also dropped. At the Italian ‘Luce’ restaurant we had to return 2 dishes. At ‘Olives’, they brought our food at completely different moments so we could not enjoy our meal together (the waiter couldn’t understand a word we were saying..). 4) They have closed a couple of restaurants but did not inform us upfront. Anyway, I sure hope things will improve over the coming days, otherwise we will have no choice than move to the Mandarin.

High class hotel, best service, located in a beautiful place. There are some problems such as: the same breakfast every day - need a little variety, but it does not ruin the vacation that the hotel staff make sure you spend with a sweet memory.
