After a change of rooms we could settle down to enjoy a well deserved holiday. Most of the staff work hard and try to interact which can put a smile on your face. Then again when you try to speek Turkish you can understand why they have a smile on their face. Now, the hotel has changed over the years for the better and for the worse, you can decide when you come. Give this hotel a try. May and September are the best times to be here, temp 25c to 35c. Food is good most of the time. Drinks not bad, but i am not a fan of fresh water in sealed scrunch cups. Barish is good for Henna tattoos on site and Tattoos in a studio. If you need information on anything ask him. The day Manager Ohan will try to help you in any way possible. Yet again we made some good friends here and will miss them. Terrible hotel. The rooms smell very bad like it’s mold and trash combined. The a/c does not work. The food is terrible the service Eid terrible. The front desk is very rude and not helpful. The pool is very dirty. The drinks are watered down and waitstaff is very slow.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks 20 June 2022 until 04 July 2022. Went with my husband 2 daughters age 29 and 18 daughters boyfriend and other daughters friend. My husband stated best holiday he has ever had. This was our first time to Turkey and the people are fantastic. Upon arrival we were welcomed by reception staff and had a speedy check in. We were then escorted to our room along with our luggage being carried which was a god send as it was very hot when we arrived. We stayed in room no 7207 which was beautiful. The room was very light and the sun was so warm when sat out on the balcony. The view was so pretty with the beautiful flowers and well kept gardens. The air conditioning in the room was brilliant and the shower was lovely. Plenty of wardrobe space to hang your clothes. Complimentary slippers for both myself and my husband in the room along with shampoo conditioner and body wash. Also the same in the other 2 rooms that my daughters had. Safe in room which cost €1 per day. Kettle also in room. Room was kept spotless. Beds and towels changed regular and fantastic decorations made on bed from fresh towels. Staff worked tirelessly and nothing was ever too much trouble. Staff on hand 24 hrs per day. Even at 3 am Staff still working very hard ensuring floors and all communal areas kept clean and tidy. 3 pools. Baby pool with mini slide. Older children's pool with 2 fantastic slides and ifeguard on duty. Larger pool fantastic also aqua aerobics is good fun. Resturant manager serkan and the manager with the harley bike 🏍 were absolutely amazing. They did everything they could to ensure myself and my family had a great holiday. The executive chef was also always on hand to ensure everything was running smoothly at meal times. Breakfast was lovely 7-10 am with lots of variety for everyone even freshly squeezed orange juice. Lunch was served 12-4 at the snack bar which offered a great choice and simple English food for the kids, chicken nuggets burgers chips. Always plenty of fruit available. Lunch also served in main resturant 12.30 - 2pm. Freshly baked bread and freshly baked pizza. Ibrahim was fantastic ensuring there was a table at 7pm for all 6 of us every evening. Delicious icream 3.30 - 5pm daily and 5-6 coffee ☕️ and cakes. Drinks were great and coffee was amazing. Midnight soup and bread if you were feeling a little peckish also available. Help yourself to slush along with other soft drinks too. On site dr and photographer. Turkish massage available on site and also lovely gift shop to pick up souvenirs and inflatables for pool and beach wear etc. Perfume stall at the hotel run by savas who was very helpful and knows his stuff about perfumes and all the different fragrances. Lovely jewellery store at hotel on Thursdays. The hotel also has a henna tattoo stall which is run by Baris. He was our absolute rock on holiday. He is so friendly and helpful giving lots of useful help and advice about the area and things to do. His cousin has a tattoo studio in gunmetal which is great my daughter and her friend had a tattoo and they were collected and dropped back to hotel as well. I had actually lost my phone I had walked outside the hotel to bottom of harbour and left my phone on the wall. Baris saved the day. My husband had called my phone and baris spoke in turkish to the person who had found my phone and then went off on his motorbike to coect it for me. The hotel is very safe and secure. At the back entrance you step directly onto private beach were there are sunbeds free of charge. You also have beach towels supplied by the hotel. There is a shop next door to hotel open 24 hrs that sells absolutely everything. There is a strip outside hotel full of resturants and souvenir shops so ideal for anyone with mobility issues or that doesn't like to venture too far. Local bus to bodrum main town half way down strip no 28 &,29 running frequently and last bus back to hotel from bodrum main town at 1.30 am for just 15 tl per person. Did a day trip to kos and party boat trip to camel beach which were also fantastic. A huge thank you to everyone at petunya beach hotel. We all had a great holiday and hope to come back next year with our new addition to the family my grandchild that is due to be born in November .…

This was a great hotel to stay in, very clean, great food and lovely staff. Especially the tattoo artist Baris, I would never go back to anyone else to do my tattoo as he is the best. I would definitely recommend this hotel even not many English around you are still made to feel like family and I will be coming back next year again.

I would strongly recommend you not to book a room in this hotel and I will also list 10 reasons why not to go. 1. An unpleasant smell of sewage can be felt from the courtyard of the hotel. 2. The capacity of loungers and the capacity of the restaurant is much more smaller compared to the number of guests that the hotel can accommodate. 3.Cutlery, dishes are always dirty and often missing at the table so you have to chase waiters and explain by pantomime because no one speaks English.Alcohol is served in reusable plastic cups. 4.Discrimination is present at every step.Rules that do not apply to Turkish citizens apply to all other guests. 5.The sea is extremely cold. 6.Bad wifi is charged extra. 7.They do not follow the prescribed schedule. 8.Hotel stuff steal beach towels from other guests which are placed on the sunbed. On this way stuff again charges you for the service of giving new beach towel.(because beach towel are provided on deposit). 9.I am huge fan of animals but this hotel is full of cats which are present during the meal and dogs on beach who likes to pee on sunbed ,towels or sea and shake themselves next to people sunbathing.Most people find that annoying, as do sunbed and umbrellas that are 12 seasons old at least. 10.The staff within the hotel that sells cruises, turkish baths, massages are extremely annoying and are ready to harass tourists 5 times a day to buy their service.The rooms are a special story.You don't have drinking glasses in your room or clean towels sometimes or soap, shower gel,shampoo. Arrived late in the evening here after a long day of travelling, and it immediately became apparent that this is not worthy of a 4* rating. Upon arrival and being shown in to the room. First sign was a rather dodgy hanging and flickering light bulb, and it got worse in from there. There were hairs on the bed which very clearly did not belong to us, the pillow covers had stains on them, and the bedside tables were barely hanging onto the wall. The air conditioning was not very effective at cooling the room, and when looking in the bathroom, the sink had marks on it as if it hadn't been cleaned ever. Looking inside the shower, the grouting around most of the tiles was horrendous, as if it couldn't effectively be cleaned from the grime, so more grout was just slapped over the top. It was just nasty. Then I looked up and there were some horrible stains on the ceiling where there was damp with it flaking. Called reception to change rooms and was told there was not another room available, and send "housekeeping" who snatched the sheets and pillow covers and didn't come back. We made our best decision after that and checked out and went elsewhere.…

What a hidden gem! Just returned from a week here, was absolutely amazing! The choice of food was yummy, something for everyone; and plenty of choice. Location is lovely literally on the beach with private sun loungers and a beach bar; big shout out to entertainment; restaurant staff & Hasan on the bar always smiling and friendly, very polite. Pools amazing, nice vibe with music on in the day, evening entertainment although short was nice, and drinks in all inclusive are a good selection too! Turkish people lovely yes it’s not a typical British hotel however you can get a taxi into Gumbet and party for 88 lira if not less and lovely little strip of restaurants on your doorstep too. We were two 29 year old girls and wouldn’t fault this hotel; or think again about coming or recommending to others! Thanks for a lovely stay! Only downfall was the placing of our room; in comparison to others with sun balconies etc we didn’t have a great view but hardly in room anyways!…

The best thing about this hotel is the cleanliness headed by Serpil in charge of housekeeping. She ensures everything from bedrooms to communal areas are spotless. Her staff are always brushing floors and clearing away. A big thanks to her and her team. Orhan heading reception is so helpful and kind and will help whenever possible. Speaks fantastic English also. Baris the tattoo guy has been here many years and is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. His tattoos are fantastic and have seen many of his works plus used we have used ourselves. A great guy in all ways. Have been here many times and highly recommend.

People are very nice, food is amazing. Animation team offers a lot of cool stuff and massage for women is one of the best in the world! Sea is a bit colder then on another places in Turkey but there is always good and warm pool water where you can play water games. 10!
