Detailed Reviews
Now. We read a lot of the reviews and they were very mixed but here is everything you need to know. We stayed for 7 nights for £550 pp all inclusive through TUI. Firstly when we booked I’m 90% sure it said free WiFi however upon getting there we found out it was €1/$1 a day per person. So we ended up paying €14. Honestly not the end of the world however when we got to the room we discovered it didn’t work in the room and only really worked by the pool. They also charged for a lockbox and €1 if you wanted your towels changed but we found it this wasn’t essential as you could simply take them from the trolly in the hall that was always left there. The hotel and rooms themselves were outdated but by no means dirty. You can tell it hasn’t had work in a while and there was a few broken things like our toilet door didn’t lock but this didn’t really bother us. We had air con for free that worked really well, a kettle and fridge. I will say next to the bed there was only a socket on one side so bear that in mind but as well other rooms might be different I couldn’t say. The drink options you had were wine, beer, vodka, rum and a few others including loads of soft drinks and they would do cocktails free if you asked. The staff I couldn’t fault at all they were all really lovely but a lot did struggle with English so google translate did come out a lot but that’s ok. By the pool there was darts and also water polo everyday including music from 9-5 I think. Now the food. I’m a bit of a picky eater but nothing too bad and I really struggled. The kids counter consisted of chips and veg everyday. There was never chicken nuggets or anything simple in the restaurant it was all a lot of salad, fish and chicken with occasionally some form of pasta. The desert section was really good however and had plenty of options. At lunch you could get burgers from the pool bar and they often had chips and chicken nuggets etc. there’s a shop next door that was fairly cheap if you wanted snacks or anything else. On the listing it says pool and ping pong tables which there are upstairs on the restaurant however no one seems to know how to get the balls and cues etc and your not allowed to play during food service. The location was beautiful on a street with lots of restaurants, bars and some shops which was really nice to venture out to. All in all for what we paid it was a really good holiday however I would just take it into account the few downsides. End of the day for what we paid I can’t really complain more than anything it was the additional costs that make this not as good for me.

We rested at the hotel with my dad for 4 days from June 8 to June 12. I really liked the food, drinks, territory, animation. Very close to the sea. The sea and the pool are located almost in the same place. The hotel has two warm water swimming pools. The food is very varied: for breakfast porridge, omelettes, yoghurts, pancakes with chocolate. For lunch and dinner every day, 3 types of meat. Almost every day for dinner there is fish: sea bream, tuna and somon, fillet fried over a fire in sauce and batter. I especially liked the turkey and chicken in sweet sauce. Fruits include watermelons, melons, peaches, apples, oranges, plums. Many types of sweets. There are practically no queues. In addition to the main hotel restaurant, there are two snack bars. Every day they provide hamburgers, nuggets, onion rings, fries, different types of salads, soft chocolate waffles and ice cream. Snack bars are open until 17:00 in the evening, it’s impossible to stay hungry 😁. The bar has many types of alcohol: Malibu, Pinacolada, Whiskey-Cola, vodka, rum, wine, gin, beer. The area is small and everything is within walking distance. Beautiful trees and plants. The room has a kettle, daily cleaning, gels, shampoos, soaps, washcloths, towels. The staff is smiling, hospitable and responsive. There are many Russian-speaking working girls from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. There is a train station and ATMs near the hotel, you can go anywhere in Bodrum. A budget and profitable option, I really liked the hotel, I recommend it. I would gladly go again.

What a hidden gem! Just returned from a week here, was absolutely amazing! The choice of food was yummy, something for everyone; and plenty of choice. Location is lovely literally on the beach with private sun loungers and a beach bar; big shout out to entertainment; restaurant staff & Hasan on the bar always smiling and friendly, very polite. Pools amazing, nice vibe with music on in the day, evening entertainment although short was nice, and drinks in all inclusive are a good selection too!
Turkish people lovely yes it’s not a typical British hotel however you can get a taxi into Gumbet and party for 88 lira if not less and lovely little strip of restaurants on your doorstep too.
We were two 29 year old girls and wouldn’t fault this hotel; or think again about coming or recommending to others! Thanks for a lovely stay!
Only downfall was the placing of our room; in comparison to others with sun balconies etc we didn’t have a great view but hardly in room anyways!

We stayed here 2 years ago and I wrote a review saying it’s pretty great value for money. This time even my in-laws moaned and they never moan.
Staff were all very friendly, reception, bars and there was always someone walking about if you had a problem they would write it down and deal with it, which is good as I bet they have to deal with a lot of moaners!!
Rooms were fine but not cleaned that often and to be honest, there isn’t enough cleaners so it’s a rushed job. Bathrooms need attention plus air con was making loud noises but they did sort this out next day.
Plenty of beds around the pool so no real rush to get them in the morning.
Food - well I can normally eat anything but struggled everyday and lived off bread and eggs. Rice chips and ice cream!!! Kids basically ate bread and chips. If you like chicken, chicken stew, chicken and rice, chicken in a sauce. Then You will eat something!!!
Overall - I wouldn’t come back even though the beach is nice and the sea is fantastic the hotel lets its down.

This hotel is NOT 4 star! I have stayed in cleaner and better 3 star hotels. This is very misleading. We stayed for 10 nights with our 21 month old son
Pros: sunbeds around the pool were never a problem to get, the waffles with chocolate sauce were nice and the burgers from the snack bar were too, the water slides were great for the kids
Cons: bar ran out of vodka gin and most other alcohol on 5 occasions during the 10 days we were there, how can that happen at an all inclusive resort??
Rooms are tired and not very clean, mouldy bathroom and shower, bins not emptied every day and 1 thin sheet between 2 people that didn’t even cover our toes! However when speaking to reception they did provide extra blankets. Food not always hot, be prepared to get your elbows out otherwise you are shoved out the way by Russian guests at the buffet, there is never anything left at breakfast beyond 8am as most other guests pile their plates high and it isn’t replenished, beach overcrowded with sunbeds so people laying and sat right next to you, the stray cats and dogs didn’t bother us but the security guard one evening was aggressively lifting up chairs in the bar and banging them on the floor in front of them and guests to try and get them to leave- not pleasant to see and upsetting to my son. Stairs crumbling away, high chairs weren’t cleaned properly between use and hardly any of the staff smile or interact with you, however they did interact with my son and try to pick him up which subsequently just upset him more as most babies are wary of strangers, maybe some of them needed to interact from a distance as he became quite distressed being grabbed and hugged when he was crying. One waiter also asked for a photo of him which I found very strange.
Cockroaches in the corridors and rooms, and my son got 2 x splinters from the play area as the wood is not sealed properly and not looked after so it is old and splitting etc. wifi is extra, safe is extra, to exchange your beach towels for clean ones is extra, water fridge leaks, the side of the kids splash pool is smooth tile and very very slippery which makes no sense as the adult pool is rough tile, make sure to pack beach shoes so your little one doesn’t slip over!
Sun beds are dirty and never cleaned, most are broken, litter around the hotel which isn’t cleaned and don’t even get me started on the toilets near the snack bar, disgusting! One evening the cleaning sign off sheet on the back of the door has been signed off till 11pm and it was 4;30pm!
I would not return here, I have complained to TUI but someone seriously needs to come and inspect this hotel and is it is falling way below 4 star standard.
Fawlty towers springs to mind- every guest we spoke to said the same.

The hotel is ripe for a good good renovation!!! It is a pity that it is not maintained, for such a complex that can be very promising. The five-bed room we got is old, not recently renovated, from the bed, floor, bathroom, curtains, wardrobe. We were looking for a better room like in the pictures, but nothing like that. We looked at the room of the friends who were staying with us, their triple room is slightly better. The only thing is that their table is cleaned every day and the towels are changed normally. And ours for a stay of 11 nights was cleaned only twice, and that at our insistence, and we had to take the towels ourselves from the trolley that was in the corridor. The pools are ok clean, as are the restaurants! The food is good, varied, they constantly replenish it, sometimes you have to wait, but that's ok, since there are a lot of people. The staff are friendly, mostly the guys working at the bar, as well as the guy at the beach bar. The biggest disappointment is the BEACH, which is a dirty mess, full of rags, tissues... Sunbeds, dirty, not nearly washed, trash cans all over the beach terribly dirty. There is no line of sunbeds, anyone can take as much as they want, to get to the sea you have to avoid them all. Huge dogs on the beach are lying next to us, and defecating, it really disgusted me. 😟 All in all, a worse experience. Fortunately, we were in good company, full of laughter and positivity, so it made up for us to forget these shortcomings. And as far as the sea is concerned, it is excellent, clean, calm, gradual entry into the depth. The hotel is realistic for two stars! I hope they will come to their senses and work on these shortcomings!!!!!! But most of all regarding the BEACH, because of coming on vacation where you should enjoy clean sea and clean beach for whom hygiene is important!!!

We booked an all inclusive TUI holiday at this supposed 4 star resort. At best I would say it was a 3 star in definite need of refurbishment and general maintenance.
Whilst the location was good and getting a sun bed at the pool didn’t pose too much of a problem, the sun beds at the beach were on top of each other and rammed!
The food was ok but chicken featured everyday for both lunch and dinner. Lack of variety except for salad bar and fresh fruit which was great.
Be prepared to queue up for meals and push your way forward as the majority of guests were Russian and it appeared like they hadn’t seen food in years! We were appalled to see people piling food onto plates and then discarding most of it.
The property has lots of stray cats which isn’t helped by people feeding them - leaving food on the paths and even feeding them inside restaurants- really horrible.
People also left food and plates outside which I’m sure would attract rats.
It also seems that you can smoke and vape in the restaurant which we found quite annoying.
They ran out of spirits 4 days in a row, and the wine tastes like vinegar!
You need to pay for the WiFi which is £1/€1 per day and only works in the reception, restaurants or by the pool.
You get 1 pool towel free person but if you want to have them replaced it will cost you £1 per towel.
Towels are not changed unless you pay £1 per towel.
There is a safety deposit in the room but you need to pay £1 per day to access it.
The lighting at night is not good and in some cases we had to use the torch function on iPhone to illuminate the path to our room.
Whilst our room was adequate - after reading some reviews we were brazing ourselves for worse, it definitely needs to be repainted and the bathroom upgraded.
I don’t know when a TUI rep last visited the hotel to conduct an inspection but it clearly isn’t what it used to be and certainly shouldn’t be rated a TUI 4 star!
This is the second time we’ve had a bad experience with TUI and we won’t be travelling with them again.
The staff don’t speak a lot of English, which is fine as my Turkish is non existent but and seemingly don’t know how to smile either.
The positive is that the beachside bar and staff particularly Rezan was excellent.

On first arrival we were a little shocked how basic the rooms were. First room given was tiny and dirty so asked to be moved. Next room was a little better but still needed a good clean. Beds were comfy so that made it a little better. Hotel and amenities generally run down. Food awful. Same everyday fried chips wedges fried chicken or turkey goulash. Soup n bread. Best was salad bar and fresh fruit. Waiters were lovely but trying to get basics like butter salt milk for tea was a complete nightmare. Ate out often as very cheap and lots of nice places close by. All inclusive basic alcohol was vodka gin whisky wine or lager. Ice cream available for 1 hour a day. Snack bar again fried chips burger or chicken nuggets. Sunbeds not cleaned toilets not cleaned enough. Would not stay at this hotel again but would return to ortakent as its just beautiful. Plenty of other hotels close by. Made some fantastic friends of the staff which made up for everything else and had lots of laughs.

There is a walking path by the seaside, the sea is quite stony, I went swimming in slippers, the beach is narrow, crowded, everyone is together, the food is bad, the restaurant capacity and number of staff are insufficient, there are long queues, finding a place to sit is a problem, the rooms generally face the garden, the room width is good, TV and refrigerator. The hair dryer is old and does not work efficiently, it needs to be renewed, the room is cleaned every other day, towels, shampoo and soap are available in the room, water can be taken free of charge from the cafeteria, it has two pools, one pool is suitable for children, there are slides, there is a lifeguard, there is a medical officer, the hotel has a paid Turkish bath and massage parlour. There is - fees are normal, modest in-hotel entertainment is organized in the evenings. The food - the crowd - the beach and the sea are not good - the lifelessness of the middle city - I wouldn't choose it again.

Generally a drama, rooms in a terrible condition, filth, stench and a shower that a person who respected his health would never enter. The food, if you can call it that, the meals served are tasteless, unless you even manage to put something on your plate, because the saying "first come, first served" is most true in this hotel. I don't know who gave this hotel four stars because it doesn't deserve even one in terms of general standards. I am disappointed because the photos of the facility are nice and anyone who recommends it will 100% be severely disappointed. You have to pay for the Internet, and it doesn't work anyway, the staff is impossible to communicate with in any language other than Turkish and is not helpful in any way, because they are probably there as a punishment... I DO NOT RECOMMEND
