Sami Beach Hotel stands out for its exceptional service and cleanliness, with guests often commending the diligent staff and spotless rooms. While some travelers find the rooms comfortable with sea views, others suggest they could benefit from renovation. Its prime location near the beach and local attractions is popular, although it may contribute to noise. While the vibrant atmosphere with music and dancing is a plus, opinions on value vary, with some guests feeling let down by the food, drinks, and entertainment options.

Firstly after reading some of the reviews on this hotel before flying out I was worried what we had booked.
When we arrived was greeted by a friendly face at reception and a porter to take our luggage who we tipped was very grateful.
Our room was by the pool and nice and clean our room was cleaned 13 time out of 14 which was no problem we had clean towels every day and beds changed every 3/4 days
There was a smell in our room but no different to any other country as their drainage isn't as good as the UK but we just got some cheap air fresheners from the shop solved the problem.
As for staff they are so kind and lovely and was happy to help the lovely Kate and executive chef arranged fried eggs for my partner.
Food was absolutely delicious and a good choice some may not to be everyone taste but you are in Turkey.
We did the boat trip arranged with Dave beach side of the hotel and was absolutely brilliant food was lovely and Idris on the boat was so helpful
Entertainment in the evening is dance shows and don't last very long but are good the best was a Sunday with the breakdancers who we absolutely loved
Beach and pool are kept clean and no sunbed wars but believe this is because not a lot of English at the hotel who cause this issue from past experience.
Lots of wild tortoises run free around the hotel which was lovely to see and managed to see one born just days ago.
Location is perfect lots of shops pharmacy near by to walk from the front of the hotel and bars and clubs
Beach side also bars and restaurants to eat we ate at Mango and Denny's both nice food and no complaints
If I had a complaint it would be more storage but not a major issue
And the shower in our room the bit you hang it on needs a new one again wasn't an issue for us but I'm sure someone would moan 😉
I would go back to Sami beach just remember it is a 3 star so if your wanting more pay more
But we as a family had a fabulous holiday
And must thank all the staff and management for this and the lovely Ibrihim taking my daughter to get a football shirt

We left the hotel yesterday. First of all, although we purchased a standard room with a balcony, we were given a room without a balcony on the bottom garden floor, facing the back wall. The room is in a position that can only be used as a storage room. It was very frustrating to pay the same money as everyone else and stay in a lonely room overlooking the garden wall. I recommend that you do not sell room 1010 as a room. If you are going to sell it, you should offer it cheaper than usual.
Also, that magnificent terrace above the bar is in disrepair. That place must be urgently repaired and made beautiful, because that beauty is being wasted.
The animations were not bad, but I think there should be live music and entertainment at least once a week, where guests can play and dance :)
Other than that, we were very pleased with the hotel. The food is diverse and delicious. When the chef heard that I didn't like breakfast pizza with sausage, he made cheese pizza for me every morning, thank you, he was very gracious.
The guys at the bar prepare any drink you want with great pleasure, they are very polite.
The rooms were constantly cleaned, the beach was very nice, the beach is cleaned every morning. The only problem is that everyone goes at 6 in the morning and puts towels on the sun loungers. Even those who have never been to the sea cover their sunbeds with towels. A solution must be found for this. There are always staff on duty everywhere, they take care of your every need, thank you. The location is excellent, very close to the bars but away from the hustle and bustle, you can sleep without noise. Everything is under your feet.
You always find something to eat, I say this without exaggeration, there were at least 13-15 types of pastries and pastries as extras for every breakfast. Likewise, there were at least 12 types of desserts in the meals. What did those who said the food was bad expect?
In summary; The location is great, the food is good, the attention is good, everything is good.
We will go again next year, thank you for everything :)

We have been there for a 5 night, price and service super balanced. Thanks to Bar team (Bunyamin,Mahzun,Eren,Ozan,Murat Chief) and also thanks to Restaurant team for greeting and good service every day. Food was delicious especially salads and deserts. I am definitely recommend this hotel. Located heart of Gumbet, so close to shops and bar street. Sea is amazing for kids because getting deep longer. Staff was kind and polite. Room service is really good. All-inclusive on this price well balanced. Because of covid-19 clubs, bars, entertainment was ending midnight but if you have speaker with you, can continue by yourself on top of bar there is a balcony and hammock to sit and enjoy rest of the night. Also there is Yoga Academy and highly recommended to join teachers (Neşe,Sevgi and Erdem). Thank you all staff of Sami Beach Hotel. Will definitely panning to go again following years. Please berry mind to be polite to staff and please take food to your plate as less as you can eat to do not waste. Appreciate the service and staff members. Was a great holiday from our side. Have a lovely holiday all.

Recently returned frrom a week long holiday in Sami Beach Hotel and unfortunately left wondering given the age of the property how it falls into 3star category. We had booked at a bargain price but at one stage I checked to see how the price was and it had doubled, now if we had paid double what we did this review would've been a lot more scathing. We booked an annexe room which was accross a very busy road,I simply could not have stayed in it,it was by no means clean and was like stepping into the past.So we were offered an alternative for an extra €50 which we took because the annexe was so bad.I asked for a receipt but the guy on reception said no receipt and proceeded to put my 50 in the tip box, frequent Turkish visitors I am sure can work out whats going on here.Food not too bad just never hot including soup,as we were all inclusive we then tried out the bar,not a lot available and bar staff very little English, you ask for Soda you get Sprite, you ask for ice you get a slice of lemon. The room although much better than the annexe was also not good, not once in the week did we get an even luke warm shower,we did complain that the toilet seat was loose and this was fixed, but the lights 2 of them outside our room were not working and despite 2 complaints were never fixed with the result being coming in late at night just wasn't on.Cleaning was pretty good but overall the hotel needs a complete revamp, staff try hard and the guests who were mainly Russian or Ukrainian seemed to appreciate that and enjoy themselves but we found it honestly to be a bit enduring.

My god did the workers work hard.
The staff were amazing, especially the lady at reception (Metal), and the restaurant staff were amazing. They went over and beyond in their service delivery, constantly cleaning tables, bringing us drinks and cutleries though wasn't expected of them.

The food exceeded my expectation. Well presented, varied and too many options for everything you could think of. I'm on a specialised diet and even I was spoiled rotten with choices that catered to my diet (keto).
Food was so good we didn't dine out at all!

Location was perfect. Right on the beach, and lines of bars, clubs, and all you could ask for, 1 min away at most.

I recommend this trip for anyone looking to party, sunbathe, and have it all on their doorstep.

Location was so good we barely ventured out to bodrum or surroundings.

I rarely travel to same location twice, but I'm seriously considering a return visit next year.

Only advise, avoid sellers pushing fake perfumes, and look out for overpriced menu items before ordering. Call then out on it and know how much they're supposed to cost, local price.

Lots of love to the workers. /Mahsa

We recently had another weeks stay at the Sami. We love this hotel so much, its white chalky buildings covered in vibrant blossoms are absolutely picture perfect. We arrived and were welcomed by the lovely reception team who let us have some drinks in the bar until our rooms were ready. We were shown to our rooms which were lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom encountered a few snaggles with the shower door and water pressure but everything was fully functioning and cleaned everyday. All other facilities were also lovely and clean, grounds keepers and staff work really hard to a high standard. We were able to get a great location down on the beach right by the shore, there are umbrellas and tables available for everyone. The food was great, so much more variation than before, new presentation and everything was fresh every meal time. The staff in both the restaurant and bar can’t help you enough, they really make an effort to get to know you throughout your stay. The evening entertainment programme could do with being more consistent and is worth investing in good shows each night and music. The daytime entertainment programme has a mixture of relaxed and feel good activities. Overall we had a perfect holiday and we can’t wait to go back in September!

A bit about our stay at samie beach hotel , we stayed in the anex building, this is just across the road a small one way street and about 15 to 20 meters away , we did not find this a bad as some reviews said there was lighting on the steps and stairs , the room was clean and basic and as I have found in Turkey before the air con did work and yes there was only 2 English channels on the TV but as I'd not gone there to watch TV that is definitely not a problem , the view from the balcony was opstructed by a palm tree and would definitely benefit from a trim , the room was cleaned daily , we did have a problem with the toilet a leak on the water feed this did take around 1day for them to fix but it was fixed . There was a few dogs and cats that roam the area but that's again normal for Turkey no dogs did come into the hotel itself just the beach areas , WiFi is a problem in the anex area as its away from the hotel WiFi range and we was cut off early , we went to reception and it was sorted a day or so later when they realised we needed it to sort our transportation back to the airport , the food was good for us as we like to try different things from the country we are in but this may not suit everyone, the was a very diverse clientèle from German Dutch Polish Turkish Italian and probably more I'm missing , for me and my partner this is not a problem as we like to meat new people from anywhere. The drinks at the bar were ok really a bit ov a choice and they was not tight with the measurements and fairly quick with the service, I always feat safe here and would take my 10-year-old daughter and not feal I had to watch her all the time , the beach is right on the door step and cleaned by the staff and when you are eating in the restaurant there is a fantastic veiw of this , some of the seats where looking a bit worse for where and new cushion covers would be recommended. The pool area was hardly used so sunloungers was always available the beach can be a little harder to get a good spot but we managed it without having to put the towels out at dafty o'clock in the morning so that was ok On the very last day I had left my bag on the back of a chair with my money apox 60 pounds sterling and my passport phone and personal effects I left it there for over 4hrs it wasn't there when I got back but a staff member had handed it in and all was there I don't think they had even opened the bag , all in all it was a very good stay and is definitely a 3star hotel no more no less but that's what we payed for , I would go back again for me and my partner it was worth the money we payed which was under 1000pounds for the two of us for one week including all food drink flights and transfers, thank you samie hotel

Hello everyone, we stayed with my wife between 28 August and 2 September 2023. Since we made a reservation in winter, I paid 10100 TL. We stayed in the Anex Room section of the hotel, the view of the room is superb, it is less than 1 minute walking distance from the hotel (I chose it because the price was more affordable) 1- The cleanliness of the toilet is a disgrace, neither the common areas of the hotel nor the bathroom, sink and toilet of the room are cleaned very badly. 2- The room is old, the air conditioner is very old, the fan has been balanced and the head is ironed while working. 3- The food is bad for the money we paid, if it wasn't for the salad bar, we would have stayed hungry. The salad bar is successful, but (please do not compare the prices outside, this is the reason why we came to the all-inclusive hotel anyway.) I saw the same chicken thigh served for 3 days, I saw potato dish bulgur pilaf (we were at the construction site Breakfast in the morning is good, but this time I had to drink half-boiled sparkling water, which tasted terrible. The only good thing is that it is right by the sea and the beach is very clean, so you can watch the fish. The evening animations are also good. 3- I don't like the pool and I wouldn't mind it at all, but it's also very old. The walking distance to Gumbet bars street is very close, about 2 minutes. I stayed at Royal Asarlık before, it was successful, and the next year I stayed at Jasmin Beach, it was good. I stayed at Sami Beach this year, it wasn't worth it. Of course, there was a 30-40% price difference between the other hotels I mentioned, this one is cheaper, of course, but it is not less than 10 thousand TL, please do not underestimate our money. I wish everyone a happy holiday

We were booked in the annexe 150 yards down from the main hotel on opposite side of road then up 20 steps. We had a 84 year old in our party so was not good so to change our rooms to main hotel cost us all £10 a night more. The food was the worst I have ever had any where in my life, it was always luke warm never labled very little choice, mostly chicken. Me and 2 more in our party had the runs from day 2.

There was no restriction on people smoking in the dinning room or in the main bar were there were signs up but ignored. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the pool was quiet but difficult to get in and out due to rungs missing off steps. I know people say you get what you pay for but I don't think £900 is that cheap a holiday

We ended up at the Sami Beach having initially started our holiday at a nearby 4* hotel. All I can say is thank God we found this place.

The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean ( there are a few tired elements but it didn't detract from our enjoyment) The air con worked well and the hotels location right on the beach is exceptional for the local area.

All of the staff at the hotel worked pretty tirelessly to maintain standards and all of the communal areas were cleaned constantly. The drinks at the bar although limited were plentiful and bucked the trend in that the soft drinks weren't watered down and the bar staff were excellent at helping me to practice my Turkish and developing their English.

The restaurant again is spotless and the variety of food like any all inclusive can become a little repetitive, but the quality of ingredients were excellent and dishes were always hot and everyone in our party managed to eat a decent meal at every sitting.

One thing of note is that the hotel do not provide towels for the pool (not their fault as we hadn't initially intended to stay here) we purchased local Turkish towels just across from the hotel. The pool was excellent and due to the fact that the hotel has its own beach meant that there was always a lounger free and the pool not overly busy. The hotels beach was also very clean, they moved all of the beds every night and picked up litter.

All in All a great hotel with a lovely atmosphere only rated 3 * but I'd honestly say that it was at the very top end if not worthy of 4*
