I've been coming to Gumbet for 16 years now and tried a number of the hotels out there, but always return back to Sami. A family run hotel in the centre of Gumbet, the hotel boasts a lovely swimming pool with garden view rooms surrounding, and a large space on the beach that is clean and well maintained by the staff. The hotel is all inclusive and perfect for families or people holidaying on a budget. Such good value for what you pay, clean, modern and delicious food. The staff are so friendly and great fun and there's never nothing to do of an evening. I travelled here just 1 week ago for a big wedding and it was the perfect place to stay ! The hotel also provide boat trips and are always willing to help you out with any other excursions. There are plenty of staff that speak a variety of languages and as soon as you step out of the hotel there is a vast array of bars, shops and restaurants for you to browse. Even when I have stayed elsewhere I always come back to Sami for their Turkish baths, they're the best and you MUST have one when you go !!

Hotel was ok for the price, clean rooms and nice clean pool. Hotel staff friendly, rooms were a bit dated but clean so was fine for us. Great location with shops and supermarket and nightlife directly outside. Other side was the beach as soon as you step out the back of the hotel which was nice! Downside- food was disgusting it was weird stuff and very random and barely any entertainment just the odd dancer here and there but not every night. Ok for a cheap get away. Nothing to do with the hotel but Gumbet was a bit of a dive and very young and party orientated but Bodrum was just £2.50 in a taxi and much nicer there with a nice selection of bars and restaurants and shops. Hotel bar shuts at 11pm.

The location of this hotel is brilliant... on the beach in the centre of the bay at Gumbet. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was clean and opened up onto the swimming pool area. The food was lovely with plenty of choice on the open buffet. Lovely bar on the beach to relax in both during the day and in the evening.

Arrived and checked in with 2 friends, the room was not the best and we had to ask for the room to be cleaned on more than one occasion. I then stayed on myself another week with other friends and was without electric for 2 of those days. I had to ask reception 5 times to get it fixed and they kept putting me off. When I eventually got someone to come fix it, it took 2 minutes. The bar staff were cheeky and kept giving our friend group dirty looks when we were asking for Drinks WE paid for within our All inclusive. The pool was not able to be used for the majority of the 2 weeks as it looked as what could only be explained as green slime, when we asked about it, they told us it was because of Covid. Would never stay here again and i’ve stayed in quite a few places within Gumbet. Staff are rude, disrespectful, hostile, liars and have abismle Customer Service. Shocking Behaviour.

Recently returned frrom a week long holiday in Sami Beach Hotel and unfortunately left wondering given the age of the property how it falls into 3star category. We had booked at a bargain price but at one stage I checked to see how the price was and it had doubled, now if we had paid double what we did this review would've been a lot more scathing. We booked an annexe room which was accross a very busy road,I simply could not have stayed in it,it was by no means clean and was like stepping into the past.So we were offered an alternative for an extra €50 which we took because the annexe was so bad.I asked for a receipt but the guy on reception said no receipt and proceeded to put my 50 in the tip box, frequent Turkish visitors I am sure can work out whats going on here.Food not too bad just never hot including soup,as we were all inclusive we then tried out the bar,not a lot available and bar staff very little English, you ask for Soda you get Sprite, you ask for ice you get a slice of lemon. The room although much better than the annexe was also not good, not once in the week did we get an even luke warm shower,we did complain that the toilet seat was loose and this was fixed, but the lights 2 of them outside our room were not working and despite 2 complaints were never fixed with the result being coming in late at night just wasn't on.Cleaning was pretty good but overall the hotel needs a complete revamp, staff try hard and the guests who were mainly Russian or Ukrainian seemed to appreciate that and enjoy themselves but we found it honestly to be a bit enduring.

This is THE most awful hotel I’ve stayed in in the many times I’ve been to Bodrum. One good thing is the location. Everything else was terrible. The pool was dirty snd cloudy for two days. Unhelpful and rude staff, dirty rooms, leisure areas and restaurant and food below satisfactory. It’s a shame because they have many facilities for a good family holiday for instance table tennis yoga and Turkish bath but most are not available for use either. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Great location, clean rooms but that’s it... Terrible foods, terrible stuff. This is one of the worst hotels in Bodrum, find a better one for a good vacation. Finding something to eat will be quite difficult if you are vegetarian. I am so disappointed
