Stayed at Labranda TMT for a few days in September with my daughter. Our initial room was not great, it had a wet room and shower seat & rail designed for disabled or elderly visitors and was in need of an update, but the reception staff were very helpful and accommodating in moving us to a much better room with a double walk in shower. The location is perfect with stunning sunset views & only a 10-15 minute walk into the centre with a huge array of shops and restaurants. The food was excellent with plenty of choice. Ramazan our waiter was brilliant and went above and beyond every day to make sure our dining experience was a good one. He is an absolute credit and always happy & helpful. Loved the entertainment and especially Cengizhan & John who were both extremely funny & entertaining- I could watch Cengizhan dance all day long 👌🏼 The pool area was always very clean and plenty of beds & the pool itself gorgeous. The staff are great and nothing seems too much trouble.
All in all a great hotel - a little tired in places and probably more a 3/4 star but would still recommend.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 days in June 2022. The hotel have very good organisation and very good location - 5 minutes by walk to the promenade and about 15-20 minutes to the bars and restaurants in center of the town. Nearby to the hotel is the bus station and if you don't want to walk to the center you can go by bus. The rooms were cleaned every day and the roommaid was so polite even though she didn't speak English. Tthe food in taverna vas very delicious especially the burgers. In main restorant the food was various and every day served a fish. The hotel offer various entertainments like diving, excursions to the Greek island of Kos, boat trips, etc. Тhe internet connection in the whole hotel area, even on the beach was very good, although we had some connection problems at first, the reception staff were extremely responsive and helped us to solve the problem. Еven the cockroach that entered the room did not leave us with bad feelings from our stay and from hotel.

There were many mixed reviews on here before we came on holiday but we cannot understand the negatives ones as we have experienced nothing but friendliness and helpfulness from the staff, from housekeeping, cleaners, pool attendants etc.
In particular we want to mention the waiters
Zahit and Ibrahim who have been attentive throughout our stay, loving a chat and joke and making sure we always had a good table for all meals, drinks and topping us up when we needed it.
The food is excellent, good choices, I loved the never ending variety of salads. Desserts excellent and so tempting not for those on a diet lol.
The only issue we had was I found the bed too hard for me, housekeeping provided a mattress topper and that was much better.
Lots of sunbeds around the pool, drinks available all day long.
Everywhere is being continually cleaned so spotless. Fresh bedding and towels everyday.
Evening entertainment great.
One suggestion we would have liked is a smoking and non smoking area in the dining area as we don't smoke.
Taxis outside can take you into Bodrum but there is also a local bus stop outside the hotel.
Going into Bodrum by walking is doable but depends if you like the heat it's been 34c most days and evenings 27c. Air con in rooms makes for a comfortable night's sleep.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at the hotel 3 days/ 2 nights because my flight was cancelled.
I checked in at 11:30, the bags were left in the reception we went to the pool, some difficulty in getting chairs in the pool but in the morning leaving immediately reserved before going for breakfast is possible.
Very good pool, beach with deck but very nice, in the afternoon has some wave but it is quite nice. There is a bar and bathroom in the beach area. In the pool there is a restaurant with drinks and snacks, there is a kiosk for drinks, a bar with ice cream and crepes, the buffet restaurant is large and spacious, varied food but very disorganized the service, in the 3 days the dishes finished, we had food but there were no dishes to serve us, getting a table outside also was not always easy.
The team of animation, hydro, zumba, darts, pingpong in the evening also had animation in the beach area.
The room was nice but there was no shampoo, soap.... only toilet paper what for a 5-star hotel... nor a soap in the washroom to wash hands?
There was no cleaning or cleaning of the beds, I went to the reception at 2 p.m. to ask if they were not cleaning the room or putting a soap, left soap and bath gel shampoo but the room continued with the beds not made and bathroom not cleaned.
There is no elevator so for people with more difficulty it is best to ask for a room at the street level.
No one took us the bags to the room we had to load them to the 1st floor by the stairs and bring down at the exit.

Arrived at 1.30 am check in was quick and we were given a ground floor room as requested by Jet 2. We were not offered any refreshment after a long journey like we have had in other hotels when arriving late. On the way to the room my heart began to sink 2 old bed bases and dirty plates along with laundry bags left in the corridor. The room was ok and clean - in the morning when opening the curtains we saw our view a high white washed wall with creeper!! The pool is amazing and so is the beach area with amazing views which was our salvation. The staff work so hard and always seem to be on duty but are always keen to help. Now for the bad point the FOOD is absolutely terrible always the same on offer and definitely not catered to English taste. I am always keen to try new foods but boiled chicken day after day is not what I want on holiday. Cleaning everywhere is good with pool area washed down every evening although I can’t say the same out our room bins not emptied drinks not refilled and cleaning products left in our bathroom.

We arrived midday on the 7th and stayed for 13 days.
We have a three year old and a seven year old and we were allocated a room on the hillside.
Whilst waiting in reception for the room to be ready, the spa guy came straight away to try to sell us an overpriced spa. Room was run down and semi clean and we found toothpicks from previous guests in the draws. Our safe broke three times and when we called reception nobody would come to open it for hours, then when actually going to reception they looked at me like I asked them for one of their kidneys.
The first time jumping in the pool, the photo guy would come and give us an appointment for pictures that we didn't want. We bought a toys in the shop allocated in the resort which fell apart after two minutes, when we ask to change it they told me to f*** off so we didn't buy anything from there again. My son is egg and dairy free and we asked the pizza chef to make a pizza without cheese and he said to my son: You do not like cheese which really upset him, I explained that he is allergic and gets breathing difficulties and then he cooked the pizza on the same tray then one with pizza and was almost using the same pizza wheel to cut the pizza but I stopped him on time, so we decided it will be best not to have pizza any longer. Allergy descriptions in the restaurant are good but there is a high risk of cross contamination.
Restaurant staff other than Omer and Recep never smile which is no surprise as they are working all day from 6am till 11pm. Saw a few massive cockroaches in the restaurant too. The beach bar served waffles in the afternoon but you may queue for ages and do not get one because they just stop with some people in front asking for 4 waffles each- bad communication.
Cleaning of the room was hit and miss and toilets around the pool and the restaurant were absolutely disgusting and did not get serviced and it stinks of wee a lot. Watersports really overpriced.
Kids animation is good but the playground is not safe with kids falling out of the broken swing and they can just run off as they please. The slide is open sporadically but the life guard was great. Kids animation doesn't start until 9 pm and only lasted for half an hour if that but most of the entrainment after was great just a bit late.
It was easy enough to walk to town which was the original reason we booked this hotel.
However we will not be visiting again and not recommend this hotel.

I have a few days left on this trip but sadly I won’t be returning. The only positive I can think of is the very kind & attentive staff members (especially Ramazan) and the members of staff who drove me to the hospital when I had a severe allergic reaction to a mosquito bite, I am very grateful to them. However, my main concern is the cleanliness at the hotel, as my room has not once been cleaned in almost 5 days despite asking around 3-4 times now for it to be cleaned. Someone came earlier today but it was at 4:30 PM, I found this very strange. Unfortunately I have become very sick with a bad cold which is ruining my holiday and I feel that this is due to the poor hygiene standards at the hotel. The food is also a very poor standard which I would typically expect from an all inclusive but some of the food they are serving here is really not edible… one of the dishes they are serving tonight is boiled chicken in water... We booked the Italian a la carte night and the pasta was like the meals I would make at university, or even worse. Luckily we are happy to go out to eat but it is still quite disappointing, especially as I am so sick, it would’ve been nice to be able to have a nice meal within the hotel sometimes and a nice clean room to relax in. My advice would be to not come here.

Where do you start? we booked this hotel based on the good reviews oh what a big mistake. We arrived at 10.30pm to be told we had a free upgrade, we thought happy days, the room was the smallest we have ever been given had obviously not been used since last season smelt of sewage, not cleaned , no towels , water etc room had not been touched their answer was to send someone with a can of air fresher which made the stench even worse. We refused the room, back at reception they offered us another room which was up several flights of stairs, 2 lifts one of which was out of use , across a bridge to the other side of the road then up another 2 flights of stairs as my husband has heart problems and i have mobility issues this was again not an option. We went back to reception to be told we would have to accept the room which stank of sewage. We demanded to speak to the night manager, he didn't believe us about the state of the room so we told him to come with us to see for himself, he did and was knocked out by the smell when he opened the door. He eventually agreed to give us another room but we would have to go back to reception the next day to change rooms again as this one was booked out. We eventually got to bed at 1am. We went back to reception the next day to be told to we had to go back the the room that stank of sewage, we again refused he wouldn't help any further and told us to go back in the afternoon , we did and had to end up paying an additional £100 to stay in the new room total rip off when we showed him the room on the internet that we had boked and paid for he told us that was just a photo they used for marketing. The food was not good and the same most days, they also had tours from India in most days where they cordoned half of the buffet off for the Indians, we were basically told if we were white we couldn't have any fruit s it was only for the Indians, can you imagine getting away with those racist remarks and racist treatment in any other country i don't think so. The only good thing about this hotel was the pool area. We also found out 2 days into our stay that the Labranda chain has gone into liquidation that explained why they keep running out of food and drinks cant say im surprised after the way they treat their guests.

First of all, we would like you to know that we are very sorry that you were not satisfied with our hotel. Since your reservation was for a comfort room, you were checked into the room that was reserved for you. However, due to its location in the annex block and since you said you would have difficulty, they showed you a room of the higher category and after your approval, the room change was made. Since the hotel is at full capacity, sometimes there may be momentary shortages in service units, but these are temporary. Then, the shortages are immediately fixed and presented to the needs of our guests. In other words, our hotel has not been liquidated as you wrote in your comment. We respectfully evaluate all your criticisms and comments about us and take the necessary actions, but it is not possible for us to respect the comments you have made about our guests staying at our hotel. All our guests like you are very valuable to us. Classifying people is not the right approach. We wish you had contacted the guest relations department and discussed all these issues before leaving the hotel, we would have tried to find solutions to all your problems and send you off happily from our hotel. We arrived late at night just before 12am , fast check in and then we have been taking to our room.
We where fascinated with the decor outside the pool and gardens but thats stop when we arrived to our room.

We wake up in the morning to bin lorry , just outside our balcony we where facing old rusty metal tank, with rubish of skip from the street, please have a look at the pic that was the view of holiday vibe.
The room was terrible “newly renovated “ rusty bin , broken tiles where the shower is.

Outside our room the restaurant its excellent, staff work extremely hard specially waiter Ozan he look after half of the place , making sure everyone has been served and happy with meals excellent service from him.

The pool and beach side in amazing location , you can seat and watch the views for hours or have dinner watching sunset

Unfortunately we have meet domestic ( house keeper ) manager, she was the rudest and so unprofessional women I ever meet.
We have been travelling around Turkey for past few years 3-4 times a year I have never experienced anything like it

Arrived at the towels pool desk, we have asked if we can change our towels to the fresh one as we never managed night before . She say she need towel cards, we have explained to her that we only want to exchange the towels for fresh one, she then went back to her personal phone reply on whatsapp messages and with her hand she gestured to get lost, I have used google translate if we lost in translation and she rolled her eyes and turn back to as , she also called as “ ibny” we had to ask people whats the meaning of this, after we find out we where very disappointed and stressed.
We left the towels at the desk and we had to walk back to the reception and get another cards for the towel , we have explained to the reception whats been happening , but at the first they not been really cared for this.

Went back to the desk to get fresh towels give this women card and then she called as again “ibne” and handed the towels and then she went back to her mobile phone.
Absolutely shocking behaviour. This left as really upset as it was almost our end of holiday.
On the check out from the hotel we did complain again and inform whats this women done .

As Labranda TMT Family, we appreciate all kinds of complaints, criticisms and suggestions and evaluate them in order to provide excellence service. Firstly, we want you to know that we are very sorry that you left our hotel unsatisfied. The details you stated in your comments have been shared with the Management and will be considered as soon as possible. Your comments about the the attitudes and behaviors of the staff have been sent to the service department. We would like you to know that corrective measures have been taken and professional behavior training has been given to the staff again. We wish you had contacted the guest relations department before leaving the hotel and talked about all these subjects, we would find solutions to all of your problems and try to send you off from our hotel happily. I'm reporting it to the property. We walked into the property on August 14th. The first day there was a small bottle of water. One week later, they started spilling water from bottles and putting bottles on the table. Breakfast pattern testament. Same thing every day. At 1am, we saw nothing different. Turn the dinner around and it’s the same. Nohut, it’s quirky to go out in a 5-star hotel at this warm temper. 7 days stay we said we would consider a night free A la Carte available to order the menu we were not able to have the month is not available, sir, let's get all the spaghetti on the children's menu don't bring spaghetti, sir nerve mixer. Just let’s have a coffee at the cafe section, and don’t try to put people with an electrical failure that two so-called coffee makers have failed. The other amenities that are coming are the beautiful taverna cafe section, the successful animation team is very cute, all very good, especially our friend Rasime, who took very good care of our kids. But some server pals seem to be very unconscious that they work in the service industry.

During booking, if you indicate that you have a mobility restriction, the hotel will probably provide you with a room on the 1st floor(groung floor) that also have a balcony at ground level. The territory of the hotel is quite large with smooth paths.Bodrum is itself has a hill territory, but you can get to the center by moving along the sea line, although in some places different construction works are being carried out.

As for Julie L's comment about the roadworks, there was a big hole in the road when I first arrived but they had filled it in & it was all sorted by the time I left. So I wouldn't have thought that they will be doing roadworks again next year!
