We stayed for three nights only, we wished we had more time. Due to the location of the hotel, it offers amazing views on Bodrum City. It is near the amphitheatre so it was easy to attend a concert. The breakfast venue is great with breathtaking views. The pool is nice however it offers access to an amazing beach club as well and there are shuttle services if you do not have a car. The gym is small but well equipped. The housekeeping did a great job. We were sent amenities on daily basis. The value for money was certainly there. Looking forward to return.
Extremely Dated. NOT only adults allowed… there were children running and playing in the pool and the restaurant of the hotel. Only one massage therapist in place… so it was impossible to book and appointment. It’s located very far away from the beach and they have a shuttle to take you only at 11:30 am and they will pick u up at 6 pm to “their” beach club which is not theirs, it called Flamm and there is a family beach club with a bunch of children running around. Very few of the employees speak English. It was hard to even order eggs at breakfast. They make you carry a hideous extra large key for your room. Dirty rooms. We had to clean them with wipes.
My family & I went on vacation to Bodrum and stayed in this Luxury Hotel. We booked 3 Luxury Room, 1 King Bed, Sea View. The rooms were big and well decorated. I liked the outdoor seating area in front of Hotel garden looking to the Sea or Bodrum Skyline. Breakfast was full of options to everyone. Pool was fantastic! not too much crowd. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
First, we finished our honeymoon here and could barely tear ourselves away from the hotel. They have a stunning pool overlooking the city. It’s stunning day and night. The breakfast is extensive and delicious. They have a shuttle that will take you to this amazing beach with sun beds, etc. The restaurant is o good and the drinks are delicious. Finally, I got a massage from Sinan (male) and it was sooooo relaxing. Perfect amount of pressure and working where I was tight. Highly recommend all of it! Especially spa services!
It's a beautiful hotel with some amazing views , the facilities are also ok for the price but their are lots of things that we did not like about the hotel to be honest. 1. The hotel says that they have a beach but they take you to another hotels or clubs beach. We went once and didn't like it. The place that was allocated for The Marmara Hotel Guests was occupied by other guests and they took all the shaded beds so we had to stay in sun the whole time and when asked for umbrella and pillow they said its over. We tried to go to other spot but they said that we are not allowed , so we left as it was very unpleasant and unprofessional. 2.The Food and Beverage service of the hotel is also not good, I always had to follow up on my orders 3 times. As an example my French Fries was delayed 40mins and when i asked the server he said that kitchen is busy and I can cancel my order. Similarly breakfast is also not a pleasant experience. Today as an example we went for breakfast at 9:10hrs and all hot food was over. Other cold foods were also over, I stood for 20mins but nothing came so I got what I could and left, at table I asked Ali the server to get we an omlet and Tea which I didn't get till the end , I reminded him twice personally and still i didnt receive what i asked ,so I left. Overall the breakfast experience is never pleasant. But House Keeping and Front Office are good and professional. They helped us with everything we asked and were very professional. …
We visited Marmara for one night on our honeymoon trip to Turkey and had a great experience. The staff are super friendly and helpful, food and drinks as well as service at their restaurant - top notch and is equivalent to that you get at 5-star hotels. The hotel has a fantastic view to the city of Bodrum and the sea. The rooms are somewhat old, but large and well-taken care of. The hotel has an authentic and somewhat "hipster" vibe, and you get a complimentary bottle of wine and fruits in your room on arrival. It does not have a private beach, but a very nice pool. It is also a fantastic value for money for this area - we paid ca. EUR200 for our room (incl. breakfast). We will be staying here again next time we do a city break in Bodrum.
The hotel has the most amazing sea view ı have ever seen. Sea view rooms and the restaurant looks at the Bodrum Castle, city and the sea. Staff was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend dinner at the restaurant :)
I had a fantastic stay at The Marmara hotel in Bodrum. The hotel's exterior looked terrific, and the exterior melted in with the mountain on which it is situated. The hotel offers impressive views of the city and the sea. While living at the hotel, it all felt like a dream. The hotel's interior was clean and tidy and gave the feeling of relaxation and home. The hotel staff was knowledgeable and kind during the interactions; also, they understood English which was a huge plus. The hotel offers a pool and some sun beds displaying the city of Bodrum and the sea. It also offers a bar with very kind bartenders who speak some English. The hotel is definitely for relaxation, and I did not see a family with children at the hotel; the travellers mainly were older adults and couples. I recommend travel by taxi to the hotel through the guard's gate because the mountain is steep to walk. By choosing the more expensive rooms, I think you get better views and even get offered by the hotel a trip by boat near Bodrum. The hotel is excellent for those who enjoy more secluded hotels that do not have constant sounds from traffic at Bodrum marina. I added a night to my stay at the Marmara hotel, and it worked out efficiently with staff, where I communicated with them through my room phone. I am very pleased to stay at the Marmara hotel and will definitely come back to live there and enjoy more of the services which the Marmara hotel provides.…
After a city break in Istanbul we wanted some down time. The hotel was not entirely what I was expecting. Its adult only, it was quiet when we stayed. The breakfast was brilliant BUT I expected more of a range when it came to dinner/ and evening drinks lets say. The menu for the poolside, dinner and room service is the same choice. In the evenings there is not a lot happening and no place to hang out unless you sit on the terrace. Its a 25-30 min walk to the marina, so it can get a bit boring. What we did discover was the suites AC are independently managed by the people in them which is what you expect everywhere in any hotel. BUT the rooms are centrally managed by the front desk/hotel management. So our first night we changed thermostat thinking we were going to get cold air, disaster. The hotel was still heating rooms as the nights were still a little cold. They fixed it for us and moved us, but something to note. Bodrum would not be a place I would return too, glad I visited this once.…
We came from Portugal. I am really glad that my way across with this lovely hotel. It was the first time me and my wife came to Turkey. And the staff here in this hotel really helpful and satisfying. Especially when you want to have a romantic holiday with your loved ones, you definitely need to choose this hotel. The aura, view and everything is really wonderful. We had the best time of our lives. I highly recommend to visit this hotel.
