The hotel is conveniently located and is only a five minute drive away from the ruins of Patara. The rooms are basic but clean. As this was the start of the season the restaurant was not open for dinner but the breakfast was excellent and included freshly cooked eggs. When I stayed here last year the restaurant was open and...

We returned after 12 years to find the Golden Pansiyon still a pleasant place to stay in Patara. Our room had a balcony where you could pluck lemons from the tree in the garden. The manager was very helpful and breakfast was good, served on the hotel verandah, with swallows nesting over our heads. The room was clean and comfortable...

Awesome place to stay! Kind people, great location and super cool staff. I felt very blessed to have stayed in this wonderful hotel. The staff was fluent in English and are trusting and kind to their guests. It is in a central location and they serve a killer free breakfast! When eating on the deck, checkout the sparrows!!

The Golden Pension was built by hand by the owner, Arif Oflu, starting when he was a young man in the 1970s. He and his family run it with great attention to hospitality. The rooms are simple, but they are also priced right. The patio where meals are taken as part of half-board accommodations is beautiful, with grape vines, medlar...

Clean towels every day. Food in the restaurant is excellent and in Patara itself there are loads of good place to eat. We stayed for 17 days and we really did not want to...

We have eaten a few times here now and make a point to visit every time we are in Kalkan. The food is extremely tasty and excellent value, the Shrimp Casserole is to die for. A lovely, vine covered seating area adds to the occasion, strongly recommended.

Visited the pension restaurant a few days into our stay at patara and decided to go for the veggie casserole. After a short wait and glass of rose wine, the friendly owner presented us with a sizzling dish of seasoned vegetables and a side plate of rice.We can only say that it was so mouthwatering with its perfect flavours, that we...

This is likely one of the first hotels in town. The whole town was transformed some 20 + years ago when they stopped the tidal flood waters. Since then development has transformed this into a back packer and beach town Mecca without massive crowds. It's quaint, sometimes quiet, & a totally tourist based economy so very easy to get all...

nice little family-run pension on junction of patara village. l'm reluctant to encourage tourists to go there as its so lovely, quaint & quiet as it is, but if you want to stay then this ordinary simple pension is clean friendly & better than most.. the family also has a newer more posh hotel called 'golden lighthouse' also centrally placed...
