Where do you start scenery , location, employees , atmosphere and the FOOD. We went to a wedding at this location and it was not just a wedding it was a whole whirlwind of a weekend. Rafting Saturday afternoon at Nantahala then dinner at Hawkesdene. Sunday breakfast and lunch before the wedding, the wedding was beautiful on the grounds of... More

I could write a book about how much my husband and I loved Hawkesdene. I spent months searching for the perfect wedding venue…yes, and I started before I was even engaged! I knew exactly what we wanted to create an unforgettable wedding weekend for our guests. We were in search of a venue that would be exclusively ours and would... More

Just returned from a trip for our cousin's wedding. A beautiful venue where you can do as much or as little as you'd like! Hiking, billiards, lots of outdoor and indoor space for fun. Shout out to staff member John, he was awesome to us! The food was always excellent and we felt truly taken care of. Even when we... More

We were blessed to have been invited to Hawkesdene for a friend's wedding and we had a fabulous time! The whole property is absolutely stunning and the staff went above and beyond to be certain that the guests were enjoying their stay. We love to eat and the food was delicious, in fact I believe that I went up for... More

You know you've chosen the right wedding venue when your guests make plans to visit it again, before they've even left! My husband and I brought a group of approximately 40 guests to this gorgeous mountain retreat for a four-day getaway. From the first inquiry email to the last tearful goodbye, Hawkesdene and everyone associated with the property exceeded all... More

We found Hawkesdene while we were looking for our wedding venue. After looking at Hawkesdene’s website, talking to one of the owners and reading all the amazing reviews, we put down a deposit sight unseen. When we were able to make a trip to visit Hawkesdene, we absolutely fell in love with the property, the accommodations and Rob and Phil... More

My daughter and son-in-law were married at the Hawkesdene this past weekend. My husband I had not seen the location until the wedding weekend, and I can say that the pictures did not do it justice. We rented the location for 3 nights, which was the best decision. The atmosphere, food and accommodations all exceeded my expectations. And, while the... More

The Hawksdene provided us with a glorious and memorable wedding. Accommodations are wonderful, setting is fantastic and food is unbelievable. Breakfast was very ample with unique dishes, Lunches consisted of two item, sandwiches and chips or salad and delicious home made bread. However it took to long to replenish empty dishes. All three dinners were exceptionally prepared with the best... More

One week ago, we held our wedding weekend at Hawkesdene. The experience was beyond my wildest expectations, and there is nothing I would change about the weekend. We had guests come and stay for three nights, and the hospitality, ambiance, food and support was phenomenal from start to finish If you are looking for a rustic chic experience, Hawkesdene is... My now husband and I live in Sydney, Australia VERY far away from our family and friends in Chicago so when we were planning our wedding we knew we wanted it to be a special weekend not only for ourselves but our family and friends as well. I had the task of finding that special place online since I wouldn't... More
