My first time to this guesthouse. We reserved for the room 501. And the view was amazing there. There was a balcony. It was good for 3 only but we had an extra bed for 400 pesos. They serve free breakfast. The pancake i ordered took 30 mins for me to wait. I was the first one to order but...

We stayed there a couple of times. The first one when we arrived to Philippines, and the second one, the day before leaving. There were 2 reasons that made us choose this place: the area (Malate), and the fact that it's a fundation that helps the street kids, teaches them how to work in hotels, with tourists,... Helping them to...

The breakfast was pretty bad, and when i walked out i've seen something very similar in some kind...

I with my family stayed 2 nights, in a family room, in this hotel last march 2015 and what can I say, it is really a value for money. the family room was in the 5th floor with no elevator. I just had a slight complain about their breakfast. It took them about 45 minutes for my pancake to be...

I stayed two nights at this guesthouse, thankful that I was assigned to a quiet back room on the fifth floor, despite the fact that there was no elevator. The staff was friendly and efficient. My room was smallish, but certainly adquate with a single bed, flatscreen TV, and airconditioning. Breakfast, which was included in the room price, was meager...

The hotel is located in Malate, the old town of Manila. We have stayed 2 nights there. Although the hotel is very nice, tidy and the staff is extremely friendly, please let me emphasise two cons for this hotel: - There is no elevator in the hotel. We had a room on the 5th floor. Our baggage was brought up...

Makabata is lovely guesthouse in the Malate area with easy access to good restaurants and other Manila attractions. Very clean premises with wonderful staff in a friendly neighbourhood. The Guesthouse is operated by NGO Bahay Tuluyan. It helps train local youth for jobs in the hospitality industry. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The homemade pizzas are delicious.

We stayed 6 nights at the Makabata Guesthouse, it is a wonderful social enterprise that provides great training opportunities for young disadvantaged youth. Our airport pickup way great, check-in efficient and our bags carried to our 5th floor accommodation, breakfast has a good selection, sometimes a little slow but delicious. The accommodation was spacious and very clean. We had a...
