Booked through Agoda on a deal which represents good value for money. Room fully equipped with kitchenette, full fridge and dining table for 2. Our family room has a king-sized bed and a double bed. Room was modern and a good size. Infinity pool was great, refreshingly cold in the humid Malaysian weather. Location is fine, within walking distance to Bukit Bintang and Pavilion. We walked to KLCC through the covered walkway but it’s a bit of a walk. Fine for us but not for the elderly or kids. There are many excellent food outlets nearby as well, many choices. However at night the area around the hotel was busy and loud music can sometimes be heard from the room. Ask for high floor room to avoid noise.
I stayed here for 3 nights for business purposes. Upon arriving, the check-in desk was only staffed by one person so took quite a while for me to get checked it. The room corridors is wide and bright enough. Upon entering the room, first impression was that it was quite a cosy room (with a balcony!). However, the bathroom did not come with complimentary toothbrush set so I had to ask for one from the housekeeping staff. I took a shower but the water pressure was too weak for my liking. Also notice that the cupboard door below the bath room looked like it was about to fall out. I then watched a bit of TV but noticed the remote control battery cover was missing. Bed was really comfortable, though. Location wise, it was about 10 minutes walk to Pavillion /Lot 10 and within the immediate vicinity, there were a lot of restaurants nearby During my stay, I did go for a swim but had to bring the towel in my room to the swimming pool as towels are not provided in the swimming pool area. Breakfast was quite pathetic, limited choice and not very appetizing. All in all, an OK stay but will most likely not be a returning guest.…
Stayed for three nights for an extended layover. The central location is good. Most things were walkable. The room presents well. The kitchen facilities and balcony are a bonus. Unfortunately a few issues for me. Hot water only lasts for couple of minutes. The kitchen bench continuously had ants over it which at 17 stories up is a concern and pretty gross. I asked the cleaner to deal with it and his solution was to not leave food out which obvious but ants shouldn’t be there in the first place. The noise from the nightlife below is extreme and doesn’t stop until early morning. You get what you pay for I guess.
Ramada Suite Kuala Lumpur located in Changkat Area, near Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang and within walking distance to Pavilion Mall, Lot 10 Mall, Sungai Wang Plaza, Low Yat Plaza and etc. The room is clean but look a bit old. The bed is comfortable , Aircond is cold, Wi-Fi is good, the TV channels have few selected Astro channels, the shower water pressure is good but pillows provided is bit hard. The buffet breakfast have not many varieties choice and the food is just so so. The hotel provide Free Parking for hotel guest and many parking lots are available. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and family member if they want to stay in KL and I will stay again if the room rates is good offer.
Recently the family took a trip to Kuala Lumpur and missus booked the penthouse here. It was located on level 28 and if there were only two units. We paid around $300 plus singapore dollars a night. The penthouse was huge!!! There were a total of three bedrooms with queen size bed, with enough room for a few mattresses on the ground. A kitchen and a dining area were available as well. The balcony stretched across the entire unit and offered view of the KL tower. The living room was big and equipped with a big size flat screen tv. There was even a mahjong table provided in the unit. The only compliant we had was that neither washrooms have any bathtub. Location was perfect as pavilion mall was within walking distant. Jalan alor was just a few streets away. The night spots were just across a small road! There were a lot of small nice eateries and cafes all around the hotel. There was also a automated Starbucks station located at the lobby of the hotel if you needed your daily morning dose of caffeine. Overall a very comfortable stay for the entire family of 7!…
We stayed in a triple room and found it comfortable. Breakfast has a good variety and there is a restaurant which does a 3 course lunch fir about 26 ringgit ( under $10Aud) Jalan Alor ( good street), lots of bars and major shops all within walking distance. There is a pool and laundry on site too. Quite a busy Hotel but staff were friendly and helpful.
The Hotel is ideally situated with an easy walk to many many excellent restaurants and a large shopping centre in the area. Having said that the hotel restaurant itself is also very good and worth visiting in the evening with a great deck on the outside. The rooms are a good size, clean and the one i had included a balcony with great views of the local area. The service was friendly and very helpful when help was needed. I would highly recommend it if you want to experience KL. Each room also has a kitchenette when you just want to make yourself a cuppa or an easy meal.
Great location. Room is normal and nothing special. Plus point is the balcony. The checkin staff was very friendly and to be able to buy your take away coffee is a plus. I would stay here again for business as the location is great and also close to a nice bar street.
I stayed there for 3 nights. Looks good from far but far from good. Bed linens and towels were not clean well, there were stains everywhere when I checked in, I received a welcome gift of angry bug bites after the first night which still swell and itches 5 days after. Linens were not changed throughout stay and floor towel was flipped to the “cleaner” side. Room facing changkat was very noisy till 3am and I heard from locals it could last up to 6am on weekends. If you don’t intend to sleep, stay there by all means due to location. Beds definitely need a change. First aid kit needs updating as well. I’ve stayed in Ramada all over many times but it’s a first hating it. Definitely a damper on my trip
Location was great. The guard at the fromt door was excellent and very polite. Not too happy with the ones at breakfast and front office. Can call them little rude. If i want to choose this hotel would only choose for the location, but can find many others
