We flew in from Penang to KL for a family wedding and found that our original confirmed reservation with The Robertson Residence via Booking.com was non-existent. So a friend suggested Ramada Suites KLCC and they were able to secure a suite at the same price for 3 nights.

Checking in was easy and non fussed after an unusual 6 hr journey of cars planes trains and car at peak hour to our final destination.

The staff were very friendly and once we got to the room we were so pleasantly surprised at how spacious equipped and so clean everything was.

The layout was simple, a dining table with 4 comfortable chairs for work and eating, a good sized bathroom with simple toiletries, very good water pressure and aircond ran quietly and cool throughout. Our balcony looked over tinned roof and a clear sight of the colorful KL Tower. The view from the window between the tv and the study table had the city lights from Bukit Bintang.

We loved our stay. Everything was a quirky and pleasant walking distance away, lrts, monorail, breakfast at Gravybaby, beer at Havana and even a show at SPG up the street. The shopping scene on Bukit Bintang was buzzing it was good to see people almost back to normal.

I would recommend Ramada Suite to everyone, for business or for pleasure. The hotel wifi was consistent and the little kitchenette was equipped with a good sturdy fridge , electric kettle, plates , cutlery, mugs, wine glasses and electric stove.

Loved the bed , big square king sized bed. Just made the whole stay simply luxurious.

Thank you Ramada!

They are being very careful with virus protections, the hotel is clean and well maintained and we felt very safe and comfortable staying with them.
This is a difficult time to travel - but the staff at the hotel reception and housekeeping are amazing and made our break feel like a real break away. If you wish to use the pool or gym, you will need to register and book your slot due to the COVID 19.

First of all, thank you for lowering the rates and making it affordable to more Malaysians during time of the pandemic where almost all guests are locals. . Recently stayed with my parents for a quick one night staycation. The minute we entered we were greeted warmly by front desk staff Michelle who was very kind to give early check in. Rooms are modern and fresh, always clean and tidy with the attention of the COVID rules. A must try place to stay if you are in Kuala Lumpur.

The room was nice, clean and the bed very comfortable. Good bed linen but the towels were small and a bit tired looking but given decent ones on request. There were no hand towels but were given them on request. We liked the fact that there was a toaster, microwave and coffee machine but a bit mean with the number of tea bags. We wanted more bottled water as the tap water in the kettle maybe made me sick. We were told that we would have to pay for extra water but given them anyway. The first default answer from the staff was “ no”.we asked for a bottle opener and bathrobe and told they did not provide them and then suddenly they did provide them.
Customer service need more training to be a bit more helpful to travellers.
There were some ants in our room, as a previous review mentioned but was quickly resolved. We were happy with the shower and a sitting area and nice bigTV even though there were limited channels in English.
However,we were delighted to be able to watch the Euro qualifying matches.
The breakfast was really not great considering we had to pay for it. Synthetic sugary juices, uninteresting fruit choices but had an omelette station.
We were delighted to have good reading lights.
The location was good as was the swimming pool.
There is a laundromat for 10 ringgit for washing and 5 ringgit for dryers.
If the customer service was better we would have given the hotel five out of five.

Dear Ishiarusha, Thank you for taking the time to provide a detailed review of your stay at the hotel. I'm glad to hear that there were positive aspects to your stay, but it's also important to address the areas where the customer service fell short of your expectations. Positive points like a nice, clean room with a comfortable bed, good bed linens and amenities such as a toaster, microwave, and coffee machine are all important for a comfortable stay. It's great that the staff responded to your requests for additional towels, hand towels, and bottled water, even if there was some initial hesitation. However, I'm sorry to hear about the inconsistency in customer service. The fact that the initial response from the staff was often "no" instead of exploring solutions or trying to be more accommodating is concerning. This suggests a lack of flexibility and willingness to meet guests' needs. Your feedback about the presence of ants in the room, although quickly resolved, and the limited English channels on the TV adds a balanced perspective to your experience. It's positive that you found enjoyment in being able to watch the Euro qualifying matches and that you appreciated features like good reading lights and the hotel's location and swimming pool. Your honest feedback about the breakfast offerings, the quality of the juices, fruit choices, and overall experience will be valuable for both the hotel management and potential guests. Thank you for sharing your insights about the various aspects of your stay, as it provides a comprehensive overview and can help the hotel identify areas for improvement, particularly in terms of customer service and breakfast offerings. Kind regards, Gurpal Singh Hotel Manager

We were sorry that Ramada Suites did not delight us from the start. I stood waiting on the steps hoping that somebody would notice me and the luggage and help us in. It was a longish wait and the security personnel do not acknowledge that they are a part of the hotel! The room we were given had a fridge that was not in working condition. It took many phone calls to change the Room which Reception after a while refused to pick up the phone. The excuse was we are very busy...REALLY? It is located in a very noisy place and there is a choice of other properties around here. Do your diligent homework before booking.

Very good accomodation and service. Excellent assistance from Ridwan here in reception for accomodating our luggage for temporary storage while we take a city tour around the area without the hassle of tagging along our baggages. The location of the hotel itself is accessible to all points of interest and a very good starting point in and aroubd town. Highly recommended.

I stayed there for 3 nights. Looks good from far but far from good. Bed linens and towels were not clean well, there were stains everywhere when I checked in, I received a welcome gift of angry bug bites after the first night which still swell and itches 5 days after. Linens were not changed throughout stay and floor towel was flipped to the “cleaner” side. Room facing changkat was very noisy till 3am and I heard from locals it could last up to 6am on weekends.
If you don’t intend to sleep, stay there by all means due to location. Beds definitely need a change. First aid kit needs updating as well. I’ve stayed in Ramada all over many times but it’s a first hating it. Definitely a damper on my trip

Dear carolinesP4396LB, Thank you for sharing your detailed review of your stay. Your feedback regarding your experience is important for both potential guests and the hotel management to understand and improve upon. Your description of the room's cleanliness issues, including stains on bed linens and towels, provides valuable information for travelers who prioritize cleanliness in their accommodation. Mentioning the issue of bug bites and discomfort after your first night highlights a significant concern that could impact the overall guest experience. Noting that the linens were not changed throughout your stay and that the floor towel was flipped rather than replaced raises concerns about housekeeping standards and attention to detail. Your observation about the noise from the room facing Changkat and its potential impact on sleep is important for future guests who value a quiet night's rest. Acknowledging the hotel's good location as a positive aspect, while also pointing out the challenges you faced during your stay, provides a balanced perspective for potential guests. Thank you for sharing your honest feedback, which will help both the hotel and future guests have a more comprehensive understanding of the experience at this location. Kind regards, Gurpal Singh Hotel Manager

I stayed here for 3 nights for business purposes. Upon arriving, the check-in desk was only staffed by one person so took quite a while for me to get checked it.

The room corridors is wide and bright enough. Upon entering the room, first impression was that it was quite a cosy room (with a balcony!). However, the bathroom did not come with complimentary toothbrush set so I had to ask for one from the housekeeping staff. I took a shower but the water pressure was too weak for my liking. Also notice that the cupboard door below the bath room looked like it was about to fall out. I then watched a bit of TV but noticed the remote control battery cover was missing. Bed was really comfortable, though.

Location wise, it was about 10 minutes walk to Pavillion /Lot 10 and within the immediate vicinity, there were a lot of restaurants nearby

During my stay, I did go for a swim but had to bring the towel in my room to the swimming pool as towels are not provided in the swimming pool area.

Breakfast was quite pathetic, limited choice and not very appetizing.

All in all, an OK stay but will most likely not be a returning guest.

Dear travelnowthen, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your stay at the hotel. While it sounds like there were some positive aspects to your experience, there were also areas that fell short of your expectations. The check-in process being slow due to limited staff is noted, and this is valuable feedback for the hotel to ensure smoother check-ins during busy periods. Your observations about the room's wide and bright corridors, the initial cozy impression, and the presence of a balcony highlight the positive aspects of your accommodation. It's unfortunate that you found some issues with the bathroom amenities, such as the lack of a complimentary toothbrush set and weak water pressure in the shower. The mention of the maintenance issues like the cupboard door and the missing battery cover on the remote control provides important feedback for the hotel to address. The praise for the comfortable bed and the convenience of the location, with various restaurants nearby and attractions within walking distance, is valuable information for potential guests. The inconvenience of having to bring your room towel to the swimming pool area is an important point, as providing pool towels is a standard amenity in many hotels. Your feedback about the breakfast being limited and not very appetizing highlights an area for improvement in the hotel's dining offerings. Thank you for sharing your honest impressions, as it provides valuable insights for both the hotel management and potential guests. Your review covers a range of aspects, both positive and areas for improvement, which makes it a helpful resource for others considering a stay. Kind regards, Gurpal Singh Hotel Manager

My recent stay here left me with mixed feelings. Whilst the staff were mostly polite, my room wasn't up to a 4 star Wyndham branded hotel standard. The website listed bath amenities, hair dryer and in room safe, none of which were in my room. I too had ants in my room and I had to lift the tile over the shower drain to allow drainage of the water after the bathroom flooded one morning.
I was also on the noisy side of the hotel and was kept awake until 3am most nights by the nearby clubs.
I found the breakfast to be very underwhelming. There was a large Indian food section but not much else if you didn't eat this food.

They were also very reluctant to commit to a late check out on the day of departure, despite me offering to pay for one. They would only confirm on the day of departure and then could only offer a 3pm check out when I requested a 6pm one. They said they had limited room availability despite me seeing they had rooms available on 8 booking sites, including their own.

The one inexcusable thing that happened though was a major breach in hotel security. Around 9.30 one night I had people trying to get into my room. Luckily I was in my room and the safety lock was on the door which didn't allow them access. I told them they had the wrong room but they said no they had been given keys to my room. When I went to reception the man was very apologetic and said he had made a mistake on the computer. I then returned to my room and couldn't get back as my keys had been deactivated. I returned to reception and again he apologised and reactivated my keys. I reported this to the manager the following morning who was not aware that this had happened. She was very polite and also apologised and said she would look into it. I heard nothing more until I checked out and again she apologised and said it was due to a "training issue". Had I not been in my room complete strangers would have had full access to my room and everything in it, especially as there was no in room safe as advertised on the website. This is a huge concern for me. I was travelling alone and can't comprehend how a computer system in a 4 star Wyndham branded hotel can allow access to rooms that are already occupied. I was very unsatisfied with the way this situation was handled at the time and have since lodged my complaint twice with the hotel and one direct with Wyndham. I received an acknowledgement from the hotel that the matter was being investigated but have not received anything else after 2 weeks, nor have I received anything from the Wyndham complaint.

Needless to say I will not be staying at this hotel again and will also strongly consider ever staying at Wyndham branded properties in the future.

Dear sueaU4823VJ, I'm truly sorry to hear about the various issues you encountered during your stay at the hotel. It sounds like your experience fell significantly short of your expectations. The lack of certain amenities in your room, the presence of ants, the drainage problem, and the noise disturbances from nearby clubs all contributed to an uncomfortable stay. The breakfast also didn't meet your expectations, and the difficulty in securing a late check-out, despite room availability, was frustrating. The major security breach you experienced is especially concerning. It's completely unacceptable that there was a mix-up that led to strangers attempting to enter your room. Such a breach in security and the subsequent handling of the situation are highly disappointing, especially given that you were traveling alone. Rest assured that we do take the welfare and safety of all our guests as a high priority. It is very much regretted that is unfortunate experience has marred your trust in the our hotel name. Your feedback is crucial and should be used to improve the quality of service and security at the hotel. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and I will ensure that your concerns are addressed accordingly. Kind regards, Gurpal Singh Hotel Manager
