Great location, perfect for business even leisure. Hotel runs a little buggy that picks up the guests from hotel and drop off at klcc. Perfect for those attending exhibition, just a few steps away from the KL convention center. Outstanding service especially from Darsheenie (front desk), Fiz (concierge), and few other staffers (which I got their names), makes the stay outstanding compared to other business hotels in the vicinity. Breakfast choices (buffet) leaves room for improvement. Elevators aplenty, and very fast, so never really had to wait for too long each time. Power outlets in the room needs to be upgraded (with usb, and placement). Highly recommend.
It like business type hotel, many businessmen staying here. Convenient go to KLCC and buggy service is available here. The location of hotel is at town area with super beautiful view. The breakfast has more selections of item like Asian and International food. Must visit the pool and sky bar. The pool is indoor while swimming you can see the nice view. Sky bar is one of the attractive point for tourist. The hotel has twin beds and connected room for family stay, Smoking and non smoking floor.
Having just spent 5 nights in a City View Suite with Club facilities our stay was superb. The room was HUGE with everything you could ask for. The hotel is set back from main roads so the room was extremely quiet - it is also very central and close to both KLCC and the Pavillion. The Club floor was excellent with great views of the Twin Towers. A great breakfast spread is provided each morning with eggs cooked to order ( highly recomment the eggs benedict ). The evening cocktails were also excellent with a good selection of wines and spirits. The evening snacks were varied on each night of our stay and once again excellent. The Club floor staff were great and most accommodating to our needs and requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Traders and look forward to another visit soon.…
We stayed at the Traders Hotel for 5 nights and requested a room that had a view of the Petronas Towers. Well worth the extra money to have such a fantastic view, especially at night. Other positives include the location (about 10 minutes walk across the park to Suria KLCC shopping mall, or 10 minutes in the other direction to Pavilion), pool with a view, large room and comfortable bed. The negatives - very soft pillows and lighting in the bathroom made it difficult to apply makeup. The location and view are second to none but overall this hotel is now a little dated.
Chose this hotel for its proximity to the famed KL Twin Towers due to work. Found it right next to the Convention Centre. Apart from being handy if you have an exhibition to visit, the place has a walkway in the basement that links to the metro ( although it is a little walk) and another (between Starbucks & Aquarius) that leads to a bridge for a quick, covered walk to Bukit Bintang (Pavilion Mall exit) for more shops and food. The hotel has a nice park out front so you can have a run. Follow the path to the KLCC mall and the Twin Towers. Although mine was a Deluxe Garden view (2229) I had an angled view of the Twin Towers. The other view was other hotel rooms though:( There’s a Sky Lounge at the top but only a trace of music can be heard. Overall it is quiet. No doubt there. The room is well spaced. The bed is a little firm but offers a good sleep nonetheless. There’s enough wardrobe space and another for bags + in built safe. Bathroom has shower & long bath. Again it is well spaced. Enough power points too for gadgets. A simple, comfortable and well located hotel. Service is efficient and good too.…
If only there is more than excellence, I will choose it. Looooveee to stay here. The venue, instagramable views to the twin towers, buggy service to ISetan/twin tower, the breakfast menu, and also the sky lounge view.. super excellence and great..
Stayed for 4 nights in a Traders Club Twin Tower view room on 29th floor. After a long days travelling from the UK we arrived at 5pm. It would have been nice to have been offered a drink on arrival at check in, just a glass of water would have been good, but nothing! We were given our key, shown to the lift then left to it. Not a great 1st impression, however it changed when we got to our room. What a view, directly opposite the Petronas Twin Towers, overlooking the fountains and park. Breakfast was plentiful, every type of food you could want. Club lounge allowed us to have snacks, wine, beer and spirits from 5pm to 7pm. Again the view was excellent. Went up to the Sky Bar each night. Great service from the staff and we got to know the DJ Richard. He played our requests and made the evenings more enjoyable. Position of this hotel is excellent, you can get access to the mall directly from the hotel, or get the hotel buggy, or walk across the gardens. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.…
This is an outdated hotel with old smelly carpet that’s Unclean, sticky and matted . The toilet bowl is dirty , filthy and old fashion. The bathroom robe is so worn out , stained and you can’t even use it !! Toilet bowl is dirty and BATHROOM STINKS. Old furniture are repainted dark brown and looks haunting. Totally DISAPPOINTED!! We thought we would be in a luxurious hotel as advertised but turned out to be a disaster. Windows are stained and you can’t even take a good photograph of the twin towers that we specially requested to be facing !! ROOMS ARE NOT WELL LIT !! DINGHY TOO !! BREAKFAST IS BAD!! I THINK ITS A SCAM !! YOU GOT TO UPDATE THE OLD PLACE !! NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL !! NEVER EVER RETURNING!!
Service here is second to none from the communication before the stay and during the stay. Concierge will organise a grab taxi for you. The buffet breakfast in the chit chat restaurant is amazing so much food from different regions. We stayed in a towers view club room, only complaint the all day snacks weren’t much. Chocolate chip cookies, peanuts and marshmallows every day with limited soft drinks, mainly energy cans. We will stay here again for sure. Arthur etc are wonderful to security who make sure you are in the elevator etc.
Central location and walking distance to many attractions. Hotel staff were very professional and check in was seamless.Stayed on the 16th floor and view of the city was lovely-we did not pay for a view of the Petrona towers. This has to be requested with an additional cost. Rooms are spacious and clean-the furniture and bathroom is a little dated, but everything was spotless.Bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.I would highly recommend.
