Nestled in the heart of the city, Hilton Kuala Lumpur is lauded for its prime location with seamless connectivity to transportation and local attractions. Guests have called out the hotel's array of amenities, especially the lavish breakfast buffet and the top-notch Executive Lounge. Although some find the ambiance a tad standard, the inviting atmosphere and impeccable cleanliness receive high marks.
The spacious rooms boast stunning views, though a few reviewers suggest updates are needed. The exemplary service and perceived value for money make it a popular choice for many travelers.

Detailed Reviews
Couple of months back, was in KL on business and felt ripped off when the hotel I stayed in charged me 150 ringit to get to the airport in a standard taxi so this time I decided on the Hilton as I could get the train-what a difference! a return ticket from KLIA to KL Sentral is 90 ringit and takes a half hour as opposed to double that in a taxi. So thursday night I arrived late into this Hilton feeling tired, hungry and grumpy. Was checked in by a charming young man who gave me a lovely room and whilst I had missed restaurant service was advised I could get a drink in the bar on floor 5 and room service was available for food. went to said bar where a live band was playing and whilst it was a bit too noisy for me, the place was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Another time I'm sure I could have got into it but some nights, tiredness takes over! anyway had a drink and retired from that scene. My room was stunning, large and airy with great facilities and a wee sitting room area on entry behind which was the bedroom and bathroom. Very well appointed. had an early meeting in the morning so missed breakfast buffet and just had coffee and croissant in the main foyer which was fine. Overall this hotel is perfect, great friendly staff, well appointed rooms and position wise perfect for getting in and out of the city via the rail link. Got a lot of business in KL this year and this will be my hotel of first choice now. Terrific, might even enjoy that band next time!

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur numerous times over the past five years. The hotel is well situated in the heart of the city with a large shopping mall next to the property, the famous Southfields district behind, and the Sentral train station / KLIA Ekpres across the street. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely property a few weeks ago.
What I love about this property is the impeccable attention to detail placed on every aspect of the guest experience. Check In is flawlessly done either in the lobby or the Executive lounge. From the moment you step into the lovely high ceilinged entrance, the hotel staff make you feel welcomed and comfortable.
The breakfast buffet at Vascos on the first floor is truly one of the best breakfast buffets in Asia with its diverse selection and extensive offerings of Indian, Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese and Western cuisine. Top off the experience with a terrific juice bar and Teh Tarik!
The executive lounge is beautifully appointed and spacious with an evening Happy Hour offering nice appetizers and wines while enjoying lovely views of beautiful KL. The fitness center is well appointed and spacious while the pool area and gardens are a lovely oasis in the middle of urban chaos.
On this recent trip, I stayed in one of the Hilton’s lovely one bedroom suites with updated furnishings, a lovely layout that has business travelers in mind, and a beautiful spacious bathroom.
Overall, I love this property because of its location, its beautiful furnishings, excellent breakfast and executive lounge, and most of all, for its ability to service the needs of both business travelers and first time visitors to KL. I highly recommend the Hilton - a wonderful experience!

A quick review on our hotel stay during the RMCO - the check-in experience was pleasant with social distancing being practiced. Kristen gave us a warm welcome and a run down of the operating hours of the gym and pool. In terms of the rooms, there were stickers at the edge of the doors to indicate that the rooms have been sanitized, with towels and bathrobes placed in sealed boxes. As for the restaurant (Vasco), it was table service for the buffet which was an interesting concept, however, perhaps due to the lack of resources, we were not attended to when we require service. Thankfully the Exec Chef and the Exec Sous Chef saved the day (on two separate occasions) as they were very attentive. Kudos to the both of them. Rushidi from Vasco also gave a warm experience during our dinner. As for the food, the Indian food for dinner and breakfast was delicious, the prawns from the Chinese counter was fresh, however please reword “assorted dim sum” in your menu when you only gave one type of dim sum served.
All in all, it was a positive experience.

First time stay at this hotel and the room design is terrible. It stated in the website the room is 44 sqm but it looks much smaller feel very small. Space design is very bad and hardly any space to move around. Practically the whole room design does not feel comfortable to stay in. It is more like a cheap boutique hotel feel. Whoever the designer who design the room layout is really not doing a good job. For guest, we wanted to comfortable room with a feeling of comfort and not this room.
The shower area floor a bit slippery when wet. Also, not sure what kind of scent they use but the scent too strong and does not smell comfortable. When we checked out and get our parking card to be validate the concierge did not even informed us we need to pay a flat rate of RM3.00. Someone might just exit since they might thought once parking ticket validated do not require to further make payment. This establishment did not meet the standard of 5 stars of Hilton name. Will not consider staying at this hotel again since there are many good hotels nearby. The plus point is the breakfast buffet has wide choices of food and the food is delicious. This need to compliment the chefs who did a good job to provide guests with varieties and delicious food.

Decided for a weekend staycation, and since I've never tried Hilton KL before, so figured I'm due for an experience there. Checked into what's called the 'Lifestyle Suite', and it is a beautiful suite. What I absolutely love is the abundance of storage spaces hidden all around the room. And the usage of mirror walls also contribute to make the suite appear much larger than it actually is. Overall, a fantastic room. But the best thing bout this place is of course its gorgeous swimming pool. Rarely you get a resort style pool in the middle of the city, so its quite surprising to see one like this here. Huge pool, with water slides and rock features, and a jacuzzi too! What's more it opens til 9pm, which is a very much of a rare commodity these days as hotel pools tend to close at around 7pm. So after dinner, I had one of the best dips and jacuzzi session whilst enjoying the KL city night sky. Breakfast service is of course excellent. I love the herbal egg, because it is something you don't see often served at a hotel breakfast. Breakfast is indeed lovely, most of things that are served, we love. I couldn't say the same bout the evening cocktail however. Since our room came with access to the Executive Lounge, we decided to just have an early dinner there. Unfortunately, this is the only one gripe I had during my stay here. The servers were terrific, nothing to fault them at all, they were very attentive as expected. It's the other patrons of the lounge that annoy me to no end. Impatient and stupidly rude. Since the lounge area was quite small, and the food was served on a really tiny space in the middle, as soon as evening cocktail starts, its like a food war going on in there. Which is really surprising to me, because we were always under the impression that executive/club lounges are frequented by people that have more class than this. As a suggestion, it probably is better that the lounge area is upgraded to be bigger and therefore the food could be presented in a more efficient manner, so as to avoid scenes like this. Executive and Club Lounges are supposed to me a private, elegant and quiet experience, so I do hope this matter could be rectified in the near future. But overall, Hilton KL is a good establishment. There are some niggles to be ironed out, therefore I give this a 4 out of 5 verdict.

Honestly, this was my first stay at Hilton KL. Did not know what to expect but figured it was worth the experience. I booked a 4 nights stay at the Hilton KL and upon check in, I was warmly greeted by Mr Harvin, the manager manning the check in. I was also acknowledged as a Diamond Honors member and was accorded an upgrade to a marvellous room overlooking the lake garden. The room itself was just perfect with a king sized bed, a table to work on, a lounge chaise located to the huge window offering a majestic view of KL’s lung. Linens were prepacked in boxes to ensure its cleanliness, in line with Hilton’s hygiene plege to its guests. I was also allowed access to the lounge of the 33rd floor and the staff there were just pleasant .. Ms Julyanna and Mr Jim. They took care of me during my visit to the lounge and even addressed me by my name - which surprised me as I only frequented the lounge during the evenings. Evening snacks at the lounge comprise of a selection of sandwiches, fruits, salad plates, pastries and a hot selection. Drinks included juice, soft drinks, tea and coffee and for those who fancy, a selection of alcoholic drinks. Breakfast was served buffet style at the restaurant and this was very much welcomed as you had the pleasure of selecting yourself what you desire to eat. There were strict SOPs although breakfast was served buffet style. Check out was a breeze also and was done at the lounge. All in all .. a superb stay and will come back soon!

I don’t recall how many times I have been to this property but this is probably by far the best experience that I have had, staying here on my own.
I did have a couple of issues during the first few days of my stay but Gagan, the hotel manager has had everything sorted out, and I have not encountered any further issue thus far.
It is a good time to stay at Hilton as the rate is now really low, compared to before the pandemic hits the globe. Hilton also offers attractive long term stay benefit, which includes dining discounts.
The messaging feature that the hotel provides is really excellent too. The reply is very prompt and action is also taken immediately if required. I would like to thank both Zafrul and Nik specifically for helping me with all my requests and issues during my stay. Zafrul has been really helpful (he replies almost immediately)- when I smelled some weird scent on the floor that I stay, he immediately came with the air freshener kit for the corridor and the smell disappeared immediately. Nik on the other hand has offered to help me to go to Chynna to place my order for in room dining, when he doesn’t need to (and he could’ve told me to go to Chynna on my own), that was very thoughtful of him to do that.
I would also like to thank Omar for being thoughtful and thorough. I remember that I had a brief conversation with him at the front desk asking about laundry and also the bath indulgence menu, and when I sent a message to the team to get someone to collect my laundry, the house keeping staff also brought the bath indulgence menu with him (he mentioned that he was informed by Omar to do so)!
Dino from the concierge team has been nothing but helpful to me. I have been doing some shopping here and there. Everytime when I walk in to the hotel with some shopping bags on my hand, he would take the initiative to ask me if I need help to get the stuffs to my room.
I think overall, I have had a pleasant stay. It is quiet at night that I can sleep very well; food is delicious at the outlets here; staffs are really helpful and kind (from concierge, front desks, to housekeeping). I am pretty sure that I will be back again to this property and would also recommend this property to everyone!

The brand - Hilton, says it all.
I know it is one of the luxurious hotel before i check in first time in history. Booked in for a night stay before departing to the airport for overseas trip. Was very tired after a long train trip.
Unexpectedly, check in was fast and join their membership too, all of these took me like 10-15 mins.
When in the room, it has a very strong attraction that keep you wanted just to stay in the room the whole day. It is very comfortable be it anywhere inside the room. The bed, pillow, couch overlooking the city. which we purposely went out to buy wine just to enjoy the moment. Night view is spectacular.
The room comes with a bathtub with separate shower, relax and cozy, LOL.
The next morning breakfast, it is like all major Malaysian food is there to choose, not to mention some Japanese and Western fusion. Staff are very accommodative, it is like they are observing every needs of yours. Right after we stood down, a nice indian lady was asking us if we would like some coffee and how would we like it. In a buffet breakfast? truly Appreciated.
We were dragging ourselves away from the breakfast we there's a train and plane to catch, but will surely come back when visiting Kuala Lumpur again.
Check out is extremely smooth, it is like in seconds and you are free to go. Not like some hotels that they have to check the room for suspecting you may have "mistakenly taken something from the room", Hilton will said Thank You, Hope to see you again. haha.. we will be back.

From when I stayed there, I would say formal casual...
The upgrade was good.
Try emailing them at kuala-lumpur alias hilt0n d0t c0m . As TripAdvisor prohibits html or website links, I believe that you are wise enough to replace alias, dot and zero with the correct ones, also no spacing. Hope this helps
