Okay, let me get straight to the facts. Downstairs, a video business blasts non-stop club level music from 9am - 9pm and I was in the room above it. I had booked private single. I even went there day before to see the room and was told "306". Next day I arrive suddenly they shifted me to room directly over...

I stayed here a few hours (paid for a whole day though) when their sister hostel, the Matahari Lodge, was fully booked. The staff there asked the staff from Matahari Two to come pick me up as this seemed hard to find. However, it is very nicely located, it's just beside the Central Market and a few minutes' walk from...

This is more like a hostel and never expect anything more than this. I stayed two nights there in July in a tidy single room (actually more like a prison cell!) and it was fine for me. The best part of this hostel is its fantastic location, right next to the busiest part of the city centre, Central Market and...

Whether I'm staying a week or just passing through for one night I always stay at Matahari. With really good prices for either dorms or single rooms and really nice staff it's a must for me. They also have really outstanding security for such a cheap guesthouse

Basic breakfast of peanut butter, jam and bread (there is a toaster) is available all morning. Free tea and coffee is available 24 hours a day. There is a roof top terrace where all this...

Matahari Logde 2 The room is actually basic with a small shelf and a mirror on the wall. I stayed in a single room so there is no AC but an exhaust on the wall that is connected to the corridor outside. There are 2 strong AC outside so when I turn on the fan the cool air goes into...

Guy Jerry running the place was awsom, he saw we were looking into a jungle tour on our comp and asked if wanted help. My friends and I got lazy in KL and ended up staying in this place 6 nights. We had a free basic breakfast everyday, the receptionist even went out to buy more bread when we woke up too late one day. All the staff there is very helpful and friendly, they always welcome you with a smile. The location is...

I stayed here for 2 nights. The hostel is quite okay. Staff is friendly and helpfull, there is a nice big room to internet, watch movies, etc. The breakfast is simple, but good. The breakfast is on top of the building, which gives you an nice view during the breakfast. Only the coffee is terrible. But admitted, I am coffee...
