The hotel is located at the center of Kuala Lumpur Bukit Bintang area. This place is far more happening than any other area. The food stall remains open at least 1AM. The breakfast of the hotel was good; there were different kind of food variety. We stayed at room 907. As you can see in the picture we can directly observe the beauty of PETRONAS Twin Towers. One draw back is that, you will get the wi fi connection only in the hotel lobby. The staff is very helpful and the security of the hotel is really good.

We stayed at the Capitol hotel several years ago, and chose it again for a recent visit when we were visiting KL with some family members. This time we were driving, and google maps successfully got us to the front door of the hotel, and after dropping off the bags it was a quick u-turn to get back into the Low Yat plaza car park. Check in was trouble free and we managed to snag two rooms with a view twoards the KL Tower and the Petronas towers. Despite our previous luck of snagging a free upgrade at the Capitol, we were allocated the Delux rooms we paid for (can't complain!) and our rooms on this occasion were up on the 12th Floor. Compared to our last visit several years ago, there hadn't been any noticable upgrade. However the room environment had been well maintained but it did have a feeling that it was getting tired. Our last visit there was a bit of a wow factor, but this time it was more OK. And of course the centre of city continues to pivot towards KLCC, although Bukit Bintang still holds it own for eating, entertainment and shopping. Our room on the corner of the building seemed to get a bit of a background rumbling noise which I later worked out was noise from one of the lifts, even though I wasn't directly adjacent to the lift itself. The other room we we using had didn't suffer this noise, although it did have the bonus of a cockcroach one evening, which got splatted on the wall. We didn't report it to reception, housekeeping did notice it and it was cleaned up and extra bottles of water were left in the room. The hotel had put some noisy fans out in the lobby of the floor during the day to keep the air circulating and had turned off the aircon, however these were removed by the late afternoon and the aircon restored. Sensible to minimise cost and environmental impact, but I would hope that if a guest needed quiet during the day they would switch over to aircon in the lobby on request. We used the hotel resturant for breakfast and whilst this was perfectly adequate we both felt that it again wasn't quite as good as last time, and again lacked a little bit of wow. We couldn't fault the service from the staff who were always well presented, polite and ready to assist you whenever we had a query. So we got what we paid for, but comapred to our visit in 2012 (which did have a free upgrade) the hotel is getting a little tired and is loosing its shine a little. However, they use what they do have as effecitvely as they can and the service and hospitality is great.
