I booked this hotel for 3 nights fo a visa run on the premise that as it was in price point and allowed smoking in rooms based on trip advisors topic "10 best hotels with smoking rooms". Alas, I must report that this hotel IS smoke free, although front desk did tell me there is a section within the bar that is allocated to smokers. Trip advisor needs to be little bit more up to date as this was booked on their information. The trip would have been a lot more enjoyable had their info been factual and i could have chosen another hotel..

I have stayed at Concorde several times on my trips to KL and it is a real value for money and satisfying stay. It is not a new hotel but very well maintained. The staff are polite and go out of their way to assist. The rooms are clean and modern. Very well located and walkable to Bukit Bintang area and if you are not minded to walk a Grab ride will only set you back 4 to 6 ringgits on off pick hours. It is well secured with good security and the lounge is very popular. It is really a no-brainer when coming to choosing a good hotel in down town KL. Concorde ticks all the right boxes. Tip : It is a very popular hotel so breakfast times can be a bit challenging as you may have to queue to get to sit especially over the weekends but the spread is really wide and good. So it's worth the wait. Get down early for breakfast as the popular times are after 8,30am. It is basically a lovely hotel and really makes your trip to KL very memorable.

They are probably long-established. There are various problems with the facilities, but the formality is kept to a minimum. The hot water in the shower did not come out on the first night of the second night. Not complete water, but unwashable levels of hair. When I asked them to change rooms the next morning, the equipment company didn’t show up and it was like the whole building. But it was fixed that afternoon and the hydraulic temperature was perfect. But this time the toilet was left flushing (not overflowing). Maintenance came straight away and made adjustments. There was a problem with the equipment, but I couldn't bring myself to get angry because they responded with sincerity immediately. And the wi-fi in the room was weak. Breakfast was fun and varied. There were many guests. The room has been upgraded and is very large, and the desk and bar counter are as long-established and comfortable as you might expect.

Hotel dated and not renovated. Carpet everywhere with poor hygiene. Saving equipment (only one towel per person), only one roll of toilet paper. I had to ask for the second towel several times before I got it. However, the next day there was only one again. Poor breakfast in an improvised room. At the reception I was given a smoking room stating that they no longer had "no smoking" ones and my complaints were of no avail. I confirm the excellent location.

Stopped here for lunch during a Tui/Marella cruise trip around Kuala Lumpur. Our guide mentioned that Michael Jackson had stayed at this hotel during one of his tours so we were quite excited to think how swish it was going to be. Although the buffet lunch was good with an outstanding dish of mutton stew amongst the choices it was nothing to write home about. We had a bottle of warm water each on the tables and the drinks service was nil. Especially having seen that they served some tables and not all. Unlike other hotel/beach lunches we had where the staff couldn't assist and serve you quick enough with cold drinks. Did the job of replenishing us during a hot and sticky whirlwind tour of Batu Caves, KL tower/ Petronas tower.

The hotel has an unbeatable price for being located in the center, ten or fifteen minutes walk from Petronas. It is true that it is a bit outdated in terms of furniture and its four stars may seem excessive for that reason. However, the services such as gym, swimming pool and breakfast are magnificent. And there is hardly any noise in the room

This is a really big hotel with lots of families. The entrance is chaotic with no help with bags, although once inside they grab them. The desk clerk told me my room wasn’t ready before even checking the system, and didn’t tell me as a Premier room I could check in at the Premier lounge. The Premier wing is getting upgraded and needs it, see pics. The room was very spacious with outdated but functional amenities including impressive black out curtains. The pool area was lovely esp for Premier breakfast which didn’t have the full buffet as downstairs, but was a much quieter, calmer experience. The big issue I had was the wifi was terrible. I heard two other people complain about it too so it wasn’t just me. For that, I can’t recommend it for business or for kids who want to watch something on their own device. Likewise, the Premier lounge was tiny and sterile with no food or drinks as advertised. Someone was smoking near my room and a kid was jumping up & down in the room above me. The hotel was 20 min walk to Pavilion mall, 25 to KLCC and 30 to Central Market. Very busy roads in that area so walk or take the train. The spa upstairs was nice and reasonably priced.

The hotel is located close to Petronas tower (about 10 minute walk). Next door is a Starbucks and 7-11.
Breakfast was good with Asian and western foods. The lobby restaurant has good selections and their lunch special was only $5 USD (and it was delicious).
My room looked clean on the surface, but is it really? My bedding smelled of faint body odor and mildew. EW EW EW. I had to use towels to cover my pillows and sheets to cover the smell. The next morning I asked that my sheets and pillowcases be changed. It STILL smelled.
PRO TIP: Ask for extra towels to cover the smell.
The hotel offers currency exchange for a decent rate. They will scrutinize your USD bills. I exchanged two $20 USD bills. The bills were not crumpled or ripped but the manager was like... This is an old bill. It's from 2013.
UM... no it isn't and it's perfectly fine.
Anyways, the guy at the front desk who was helping me continued with the transaction even though the manager was a jerk.

Prearranged early arrival at the hotel due to flights getting us there at 11am and the rooms not allocated until 2pm. We had to pay for an additional night so we could get our heads down as soon as we got there. I'm sure they didn't need to charge an extra night for three hours. This is a well positioned hotel. With the KL tower in view from the front of the hotel and the patronas towers viewed from our room at the back. Fully functional bathroom, everything in working order. Comfortable bed and spacious room. The breakfast room had a wide range of options, and provided gluten free toasted bread for my husband. Pleasant staff, no complaints.

Location is very convenient to the monorail and train station, and the lovely pool and well equipped gym are a definite bonus.
Rooms are very dated and the service sadly doesn’t make up for those deficits.
Breakfast is good for the price, if you come early as, it gets busy from 8.30 onwards. Food is fresh and there is a good selection of dishes.
Good value Good location But don’t expect 4 star service

I think if late check out, the hotel will charge u extra but I'm not sure how much but usual check out time is 12noon. if u leave hotel at 5pm and u r heading to airport, that is not a good timing becoz there will be jam at 5pm and u will find difficulties in getting transport to airport.i suggest u leave hotel earlier at 4pm.
There are more places to choose from in the Kuala Lumpur area.
