We stayed at the Ritz KL in end Jan 2021 & had the Executive Deluxe room. The room is not as spacious but not that small either. However I loved the bathroom - it was huge & beautifully decorated. It also comes with full set of amenities, including the lux Asprey toiletries. However, the noise insulation in the room is not that great. I can hear the nearby construction & traffic noise during the day, but at night when its fairly quieter, it wasnt so bad. In my opinion, the bed could be better - its a little too hard & too "flat" to my liking. Due to the quarantine, all breakfasts were served in the room. The quality & portion of the breakfast was great & I was really happy about it, although I wished that we had the opportunity to have a buffet breakfast. However, at 20% occupancy which i was told by the butler, we had to wait about an hour for the breakfast to be delivered. We were not too lucky I guess, because despite being a non smoking premise, some guests decided to smoke in their room & the cigarette smell was so strong along the corridor & it even got into our room. I had to call the butler & they came with some room fragrance spray to help. Perhaps the consolation from it all is the excellent service & friendliness from their staff member. Once i was at the lobby and somehow the string of my face mask gave off. A staff member at the reception immediately went inside & got me a new mask. I forgot to ask her name, but i thought that was an excellent level of service & i'm happy to have experienced it. All in all, the Ritz is a good hotel with good food and even better services. But if asked would I stay there again, may have to think twice. …
During the COVID, despite having all facilities of the hotel closed, I am enjoying my stay at the hotel due to three reasons. The rooms is very elegant, spacious and quiet. The staff are doing their outmost to help customers. There is virtually no noise from the street at the room I am staying, no guest shouting in the corridors, and house keeping are very respectful of the do not disturb sign. I can really recommend this hotel here in kuala .
Ok we have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels around the world and this hotel rates up near if not at the top. The decor is beautiful and well kept very classy without being ostentatious. I think it is the service of the staff that puts this hotel right up there. They are all caring, genuinely friendly and can not do enough for guests. They are amazing. I can not rave enough about them. Thank you so much. We got a free upgrade to the executive king suite and it is beautiful. They had a lovely little surprise on the bed to commemorate our anniversary, which was a lovely touch. The ability to have a butler is pretty cool. We didn't need him but loved that we could if we needed too. Thanks Ritz Calton you are amazing, and we have no qualms about fully recommending you to, not just friends and families but anyone who will listen. The rates you pay here are cheap compared to what you get. If you are looking for a lovely hotel to stay in look no further than the Ritz Carlton.…
Bit disappointed if I'm honest. Check in was fine but took a while even though I was the only one there. The room (deluxe king) was clean, comfortable and fairly quiet (9th floor). Big TV, coffee maker and the usual in the room. However, the pool was closed and although you can sit by it they won't serve food or drink or there citing Covid19 SOPs, there's no bar open in the hotel to sit and chill either. To be fair I tried the Westin around the corner and they too had closed bars and restos. The only choice really is to hit the tourist mecca of Changkat Bukit Bintang, which isn't really walking distance. The hotel is very close to the main shopping area though (Pavilion Mall) but since I suffer from an anxiety disorder walking long distances in a city isn't for me. The breakfast and daytime menus are very limited and the Malaysian option (Nasi Lemak) which I had was average and at 60RM pretty expensive for what I got. You expect expensive at the Ritz-Carlton but you also expect higher quality. The staff are the crown jewel though. Service is very good, and they are very helpful. Overall it felt a bit "meh". I'll try another place like Four Seasons or W Hotel next time - I know they have bars and restaurants that are open.…
1. I got upgraded to The Ritz-Carlton due to the temporary closure of JW Marriott, then, during check-in, I got upgraded again to the Executive Room. 2. The room is superbly clean and comfortable. Spacious with a big TV to accommodate the distance where the bed is located across the room. 3. TV channels are aplenty, which is a pleasant surprise. Choices of channels cater well to viewers from all around the world. However, interestingly, there were no Korean channels. 4. The remote control battery for the TV was flat. I called the Butler (could not catch his name) and it was swiftly replaced. 5. The Butler was very polite and well-mannered. He demoed on how to use the coffee capsule machine, as well as other perks as a guest at the hotel. He even came back with a plate of brownies as a gesture of goodwill. 6. I called the Butler again later at night to request for some coffee. The beverages were sent within 5 minutes, made fresh. 7. The bathroom was fully-stocked, brightly-lit and immaculate. The towels and bathrobes were plush and very exquisite to the touch. 8. I had to reserve a table for breakfast at The Library. I had to choose from a set menu given by the wait team; I chose Nasi Lemak, whereas my company chose the Noodles of the Day (Mi Goreng Mamak). Both foods were excellent, with full service rendered including cut fruits, toast & pastries and juices. 9. Check-in and out was swift. The lobby was clean and spacious. I requested for a late check-out and was granted an hour extra from the official check-out time. The invoice was emailed to me immediately after I settled the bill. 10. If I were hard-pressed to find a fault, it’s the emergency torchlight holder that was missing one of its forks. When I took the torchlight out, I had many difficulties in putting it back. 11. All in all, it was a memorable experience staying at The Ritz-Carlton. A perfect location to destress, and this was not even trying the bar and pool due to CMCO. I look forward to staying at the property soon, God’s willing.…
