We stayed for one night at the Family Premier Suite, to celebrate birthday of our daughter. The room is big enough for a small celebration. Kids were very happy as they could sleep in a tent during our stay. Kids also received the room’s amenities.They could spent some time bathing in the bath tub too. Overall, nice experience!
Our first visit to SRL was an afternoon tea at Lobby Lounge. Then we decided to have a staycation in SRL. The moment I met the personnel that greeted me with happy smile, I knew I was going to fall in love with SRL, and I did! The hospitality provided by the hotel staffs was commendable. The suite we stayed was spacious with a working station, a separate living area and the comfortable large bed. The ensuite marble bathroom was marvelous. I like the two basins, one for me and one for him. I enjoyed my time in the bathtub while watching the TV. Oh yes, they have a TV in the bathroom. The premium toiletries provided by SRL was lovely too. We had our afternoon tea and cocktails with canapes in the Club Lounge. The staffs were courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet at Lemon Garden was delicious with many choices available. Overall, we had a wonderful staycation in SRL. We will be back for birthday and anniversary celebration ;)…
Ive checked in into an occupied room which there is a luggage and coat the room. The room was dusty even the sejadah was dusty too till my son catch a flu. Ive requested for a city view(klcc/menara kl) but yet it facing those unknown building that blocked the city view and the reservation told me that if Ive ugrade to executive room i can get a high floor but they end up giving me at level 12 only with not a better view instead knowing we are celebrating new year there.such an upset staycation for us despite willing to pay an upgrade for a better city view which is high floor..plus, they checked in me in an occupied room, that’s horrifying(what if theres somebody inside that still naked after bathing and so on)..ShangRi La, u cant do this with your 5 stars standard to your guest. There’s no compensation even after ive made complaint to your service centre(calling 0 on the hotel phone). The toilet flash button is not really working and even the hose pipe has broken/leaking. The sink is clogged too. What a terrible room for our new year celebration. Even the price for our dinner at their coffee house is overpriced which is RM63 for a decent beef burger...Totally pissed off staycation my family & i had ever.…
Conformable room..Clean Bathroom. Nice shower. Restaurants clean. Staff very polite and helpful including the receptionists. The landscaping near the swimming pool and fish pond gives us a feeling of being away from the city.
Absolutely no negatives that I can think of. Last minute booking for one night (made the same day we arrived), upgraded to a 2 day special offer no problems on check-in. Covid measures in place from the front door onwards. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Room was bright and airy. Very comfortable mattress. Lots of hot water and pressure. Food was great, both at breakfast (buffet but with covid measures -ie staff dishing), and at the Club lounge evening cocktail/drinks. Best hot chocolate I've had in ages!!!
