The Pullman hotel was our stopover hotel sorted by the travel agency. We stayed 3 nights. We arrived late evening and booked in. Unfortunately there was no kettle which I mentioned to the porter, within 5 mins we received a kettle from housekeeping. The next day we found our safe was broken, I did not have a bedside lamp and there was no hairdryer. I reported this to reception. I returned to my room and within 5 mins the housekeeper came with the hairdryer followed by the maintenance man. He put in a new safe and get us a bedside lamp. From not being impressed with the room to being impressed with the very prompt serve to correct the issues. The breakfast was very good catering for all the different cultures. The serve in the hotel has been very good. We even had problem with the timing of our pick up and the gentleman at the front desk telephoned the company and I was able to speak to the company to sort out an earlier pick up. So the hotel ended up being better than I first experienced. The reason for the 4 rating is the room was not up to standard on arrival.…
I have had a great experience staying at your hotel, been here many times. Excellent customer service 👍, I would like to specially compliment your outstanding employee name :Jimmy ( apartment restaurant) she's very friendly, always greet us with a warm welcome every morning and helpful with places where to go. She's a great asset for the company. Will definitely recommend it to friends. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Pullman KL city.. Thank you Michelle
A last-minute decision to go to Kuala Lumpur within the week before Chinese New Year resulted in heightened search for flights, hotels and car rental at KLIA; lucky to get attractive and suitable flight itinerary and hotel booking but no rental car availability (left contact details in case of any last-minute cancellations), but proceeded finalizing the trip based on using the train or taxi into KL. Considered Pullman or Sofitel in the KLCC, Damansara, Bangsar or Mid Valley areas, eventually settling on Pullman KLCC on the premise we will use transportation other than a rental car. Luckily for us, we were contacted end of the day before that a car was available on the first day of the CNY, our scheduled arrival. Arriving at the rental car center we selected one of two car choices and headed to KLCC. Arriving and seeing the hotel we were reassured of our selection. From the time we were let into the basement car park, we were attended to quite quickly by Adila, who then showed us to the Club Lounge to complete the check-in and briefed on the hotel facilities. Dropped off the bags and headed back to the Club Lounge for some snacks and refreshments before checking out the food truck area in front of the hotel, then heading to the Pavilion Mall opposite, via the a/c pedestrian bridge connected to the entry foyer of the Banyan Tree Hotel a half minute walk next door to the Pullman. This enormous mall with the Parkson anchor store is pretty much a “one-stop” place, with internal and external areas (mainly bistro, pub, and eateries, coffee places and fast food places) which has its own access from the outside and allowing their operation outside the mall hours. After a quick survey headed back to the hotel for late dinner, as tempting the food options at the Pavilion may be, the packed food-court and long queues at the restaurants was sufficient deterrent. The food at the Sedap Restaurant (Lobby) was good and the friendly and helpful staff, (Mujib and Hussein comes to mind) made for an enjoyable dinner. We had the option of breakfast in the Sedap Restaurant, which had a very wide choice of Malaysian ethnic offerings, the usual eastern and western buffet set up, egg station, Japanese and Middle Eastern selection, and more. Since it was busy we opted for the quieter, less crowded and relaxed surrounds of the Club Lounge, opens at 6:30am with a much smaller spread of international (including an egg station with selected menu of egg choice, pancakes, waffle made to your order) and local offerings. We enjoyed the avocado toast, egg benedict and the freshly made pancakes and waffles. We did request certain local offerings from the main breakfast venue, which the team arranged. The Club Lounge apart from breakfast, have a daily afternoon tea session from noon to 4pm and an evening cocktail from 5:30-7:30 pm. On the last two evenings we ordered dinner from the Sedap Restaurant during the evening cocktail session and enjoyed the relaxed dining on the good food, especially the grilled cod fillet and the spaghetti vongole, which were not on the menu but the kitchen took on the task and done to perfection in our opinion. Perhaps these could be future menu offerings. For dessert, one must try the New York blueberry cheesecake. Whilst we were out and about KL every day, those times we were in the hotel we frequented the Club Lounge for the comfortable, quiet and relaxing time. It is staffed by a team who came across as very friendly and helpful from the first encounter and when we checked out after the four days felt we were leaving friends behind. A very big thank you to the team, who help make our visit that much more enjoyable and memorable. Kudos to Sophia, the manager and Ida, Aida, Sue, Fakir and the very personable Kamal, and everyone else. Not forgetting Putra, who was the coordinate and delivered our orders from the kitchen. We look forward to a return visit in the near future. Visitors to KL planning self-drive from KLIA should note most of the highways toll systems payments by stored value cards like “Touch n Go” only. Also, he elaborate road system sees many exits/entries towards the inner KL area, which could be too close for Google navigation map/voice sync; best allow a little slack for the occasional “additional exploration”. …
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. When we walked in, all the tables had finger prints, the furniture was dusty, and the kitchen floor was sticky. We ended up wiping everything down with antibacterial wipes. My husband informed me there was mold in the bathroom on day one. I had a look and thought he just meant the tiles (not too bad). Did not see the stuff on the ceilings till our last day (which is unfortunate because I would have asked two change rooms). The bedroom lights were white light, not conducive to rest . We also felt that the general supplies (such as soap, shampoo and toilet paper) were not generous. There was only one of each (even though there were 3 of us and we were staying for 7 days. We ended up buying our own supplies. Room service was terrible. I called up after 45 mins of waiting to ask when food would arrive and the rude person said 'you want to order food or what?' At buffet breakfast, I informed a staff member who was dressed smartly that there was no more tea. He basically said 'someone will fill it and walked off.' The fellow came back half an hour later and still no refill. After saying this, housekeeping we're prompt with our request for linen and towels. And there were some friendly staff in food and beverages. Location is good. Just the consistency was not there. My suggestion to Pullmans is to Quality check your rooms to make sure that they are clean and train your staff to be more service oriented. …
The one of my perfect staycation hotel under Accor group. The staffs, facilities, room and location all 5 star. The Hotel staff are friendly and well trained. The hotel located strategically in front of Pavillion and KLCC. Just walking distance via sky bridge. The room so spacious, clean and smell luxury. I really enjoyed breakfast with so many variety and delicious food. I love omelette, teh tarik, salads and roti canai. They even have yogurt maker which I didn't have a chance to try because I was full. I enjoyed using facilities such as pools and gym. Both are so great to me. Swimming pool is well maintained by the hotel. Overall, it is very worth to stay at Pullman especially breakfast buffet. Kudos to all of you. Thanks for the great hospitality and I will come again.
My friend and I had an evening at the Banyan Tree Vertigo Bar - when we left we could not find a taxi anywhere we had no WiFi and felt stranded - we asked at the desk in the Banyan Tree and the guy told us basically tough can’t help you!! We walked next door to The Pullman Hotel and an amazing young man called Ugaraj went above and beyond to help. He got us a taxi and we got back to our hotel. This young man saved the night for us!! Thank you Ugaraj
I have always stayed with Pullman KLCC ever since I started my regional travel, however I am utterly disappointed this time when I stay with them. I have booked my stay with Pullman KLCC through my company booking system, which in it, I have 2 option. A cheaper option without able to applying my accor platinum membership, and a more expensive option where I can apply my membership. I have chosen the more expensive option where I can apply my membership. I have recently achieved my platinum status and Pullman KLCC being my first Pullman hotel that I stayed, I am looking very much forward to visiting the lounge. However to my utter disappointment, when I was checking in, the check in staff said that, because I booked from a 3rd party system, I am not eligible for any benefits from the platinum status, despite mentioning to them that I have chosen the option that allows me to apply my membership to the booking, they just come back with no. After being out for the day, and back to the room, I decided to contact Accor and after 2 whole day and on my 3rd day, precisely that after I receive the email from Accor that they have forwarded my feedback to Pullman KLCC, I received a call from the lounge receptionist saying that after investigating, my booking is actually allowed to enjoy the benefits. Then they offered to upgrade me to their junior suite for the night which I am checking out the following early morning, this feels like they are not sincere in making up for the mistake and error. My question is why the investigation is only made when I raise it to Accor support. This made me totally and utterly disappointed with both Pullman and Accor, I was due to host my partner at the lounge, but end up having to source for another location to do it instead. …
The hotel check-in was slow. I had to queue for almost 30 minutes. Four persons in front of me, and there are five counters in service. As a Platinum member, I will offer check-in at Club Lounge, but no one assists or directs me to Club Lounge. This is not my first time staying in Pullman KLCC, and I have to admit that this time around, the service could have been better. The F&B staff are not friendly and do not smile or welcome the guests. I approached them to make a reservation for dinner on 14 January 2023, and they told me they were fully booked, but I noticed plenty of empty tables between 7.30 pm-8.30 pm.
Came back again here as we did had a great experience plus the location was perfect. But this time around the service was not that great. We had 4 rooms, 2 was singles bed and 2 grand deluxe. The singles rooms was on the smoking floor which we did not asked for and the grand deluxe room view was not as great compared to previous visit. Understandable as it was New Year's Eve. Staff during breakfast was not polite , had told us off that the table we sat was meant for 4 pax when there were clearly empty tables around. Not cool to address guest in that manner so early in the morning.
We were travelling for Christmas to Pullman klcc and as a a diamond member with Accor I chose this hotel after having many options in kl. Firstly a very big downer for me was kids aren’t allowed at the club lounge, since it’s holiday time I cannot expect to leave my kids alone in the room and go to the club lounge for tea or cocktail hours, breakfast is crazy busy and no one replenishing items that are finished , thirdly I asked for turndown service at 8.30 and they refused as the staff has left, I booked for a suite room and honestly housekeeping refused that they could not do the turndown at 8.30 when it was not done by them. Except the fact it has a great location the management just says no for everything and is non accommodating. Club lounge staff was nice and helpful. Accor loyal members travelling with kids should see alternative options. I won’t visit with my kids again here .…
