Went for Ramadan Dinner. I found the buffet too pricey for the limited food selection available. Could not find any “signature dish” during the dinner. Additionally, I was disappointed that the food was not regularly refilled, affecting the overall experience.

Check in was efficient. However, front desk tried to double charge me the tourism tax. I already paid and showed receipt of the tourism tax, which was included in my hotel booking. Take note not to get doubled charged due to their error. Room was spacious. Cleanliness could be better. Tissue box cover was mouldy (see photo). Bidet head which happens to be just below eye level has visible soil (see photo). The biggest problem was the shower water pressure. It was too weak for a decent shower, unacceptable for a 5 * hotel (see photos - tap turned on to the max water flow). My unopened bottle of drinks was missing after housekeeping, but I have no proof whatsoever. I’m just stating a fact that it went missing. Not convenient, need to grab everywhere. Overall, ok for solo business travel just for a place to sleep. I won’t book this hotel or this chain again.

Please take note Bangsar South Pulman has been rebranded to Wyndham. This review is meant for Wyndham Grand Bangsar Kuala Lumpur. 15-20 mins from KLCC. 5-10 min walking to LRT station. Good experience

Must try hotel if you want to stay a little bit far from the center of Kuala Lumpur: + If you travel not at peak season, can check with the hotel for a better view from your room. (Pullman Bangsar got rooms with a GREAT VIEW TO THE STREET). + Many choices for the breakfast buffet. + NO DEPOSIT when check-in. + The pool is not huge but big enough for about 6-7 adults at a time. + Opposite KL Gateway Mall (can walk, just across an intersection) + Near GSC Mid Valley Megamall (5 mins with taxi) + However, not so many convenience stores nearby. (Can order food by Grab)

Clean spacious rooms. Pleasant stay. Located in an area with tight and untidy urban developments, not easy to navigate on foot, surroundings not pedestrian-friendly. Staff was not able to assist with query on my Accor ALL membership although this is a member hotel. Stayed 2 nights in January 2022.

Dear Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern about the appalling experience my wife and I encountered at Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar on 11th July 2023. Our stay turned out to be a complete nightmare, and I feel it is imperative to bring this matter to your immediate attention. Upon arriving at the room (Room 2021, to the best of our recollection), we were shocked to find the room already occupied by another guest. To our utter dismay, we discovered an ironing board beside the bed, clothes and towels strewn across the bed, and even cosmetics left in the toilet. Clearly, someone else had already checked in before us! Rushing to the reception to seek an explanation, we approached the same staff member who had initially served us. Instead of addressing our genuine concerns, he nonchalantly brushed off the issue as a mere "system glitch." Frankly, we find it difficult to accept such a lackadaisical explanation, especially when our privacy and security were compromised. We even sent him the video we took as evidences! Despite our growing frustration and apprehension, the staff member seemed disinterested in providing any satisfactory resolution. We requested an upgrade, only to be informed that all rooms were allegedly fully booked. In light of the severity of the situation, we even expressed our genuine concern that the previous guest might have been inside the room, possibly in an undressed state. Such a breach of privacy and security is gravely distressing and should never be taken lightly. To our dismay, the staff's response was far from reassuring, and we were merely offered breakfast as compensation for this distressing ordeal. It is disheartening to realize that the gravity of our situation was not appropriately acknowledged, and we were left feeling unimportant and neglected. This experience has left us deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the hotel's security protocols and guest management. We expected a pleasant and secure stay but were met with a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. I strongly urge your management to take this matter seriously and conduct a thorough investigation into the incident to ensure such egregious lapses in security never occur again. Additionally, please address the dismissive attitude of your staff towards guests' genuine concerns. As patrons of your establishment, we should feel valued, respected, and, above all, safe during our stay. Regrettably, our experience has been tarnished, and we are compelled to warn others against expecting quality service at your hotel. We sincerely hope that necessary steps will be taken to rectify these issues and prevent similar incidents from happening in the future. Your prompt and comprehensive response to this matter is anticipated.

Not a great place. We only stayed a night here as it was an Accor hotel and whilst the staff were OK there was a lot that was lacking. The room had not been properly cleaned - still rubbish on the floor, the bath was dirty and the basin leaked. Breakfast was poor quality from an Accor perspective - the juice was watery, there was no barista coffee and the range of cereal options was limited. The jams and preserves were really unappealing as they were served in jars which had been well picked over by the time we got to breakfast. The bar area is very uninviting - it looks like it should be in an airport not a 5 star hotel and the Italian restaurant around it was also unappealing - again it looks more like it a food court. As Accor members, the complimentary drink you get is usually a house wine or beer but we were only offered non alcoholic options - coffee, tea or juice. Would definitely not stay here again, though we can see why it's here as it's close to the convention centre and university so I guess there are plenty of business travellers that stay.

Was here on a church camp..Housekeeping service was mediocre…only top up the toiletries.. not even full top up… Socket in bathroom wasn’t working, Lack of water to shower in the shower stall, we had a suite on the top floor but housekeeping didn’t vacuum or mop the floor. 2 guys came only 1 made bed and 1 topped up the toilet.. had to ask for tea and water to be topped up.. and no coffee cups also. And the room door doesn’t close by itself we had to shut the door ourselves. Then asked the waiting staff at Link cafe to make coffee and they said you can self service at the machine. Food had not much variety almost everyday eating the same thing. The coffee machine at the ballroom had no milo or hot chocolate options … not everyone drinks coffee at night .

Came for hi tea but felt like going for lunch buffet it was a good experience... only comment that hotel is squeezed between other high rise office building and not near to any attraction unless you drive. food was great just that felt of the dishes like too standard . However for hi tea its a bit expensive for kids n slighlty higher for adult. overall not bad

So…currently I’m still in the Pullman Bangsar hotel as I write this review, half way through a 10 night business trip. I was last in this hotel in 2017 I think. A lot has changed in the world since then but in this hotel not for the better! It is NOT a 5 star hotel. I have stayed in 5 star hotels for business and pleasure around the world and I know what a 5 star hotel is - this isn’t one. Four at best! The breakfast is poor unless you like Indian and Chinese breakfasts which might be good? The bread is awful, the coffee out of a machine and the croissants inedible - in a French owned hotel!! That is criminal. Does anyone at the Pullman HQ know this? If you can’t get a decent coffee and croissant in a French owned hotel then where can you? You have to remind reception to make up you room (twice so far). Reception are lovely and friendly but totally ineffectual. The restaurant in the lobby has been outsourced to a franchise company. Went for a beer last night - no draft beers! Don’t bother eating in or drinking at the lobby bar - better places a short taxi ride away. Went to sit down and wait for colleagues at a table in the empty restaurant area and was told I had to order something or I had to sit elsewhere- that really pisses me off in an empty restaurant in the lobby of the hotel I’m staying in! Let’s be honest here, the client has put me up here and I am having business meetings and training sessions in the hotel so if it wasn’t for that I would choose to stay here. I think that says it all, don’t you?
