My fiance and I were visiting this hotel based on the great view and the good price. Our first and only night as we were about to goto sleep we noticed tiny ants crawling in the bed (i have a video to prove) ,we are both pretty lax but we weren't going to sleep in a bed with Ants. I went down stairs and they were able to get us into another room no problem. The new room had no ants but the rooms in general seemed to have a bit of a musty smell to them but still it was going to be fine. We left the hotel and thought all was well except we found that my fiance's credit card had a charge of twice the quoted amount. We brought this to the attention booking site and they put us in contact with the hotel to dispute with them. Not sure if they were playing dumb but Expressionz kept having us repeat the story to several people about the over charge which is a simple issue to understand. Basically they gave us the run around and this all ended up with the operations manager Brian Choong of Expressionz. I gave him plenty of time to look through the issue and he kept on with the run around and would not solve our issue. He kept blaming the issue on the booking site even after we sent him the booking information which clearly states the price. I am highly disappointed in the quality of the rooms at this hotel along with the poor customer service and lack of leadership on the part Brian to get this issue fixed in a timely and efficient manner. I understand that the customer is not always right but I painted a clear picture for him in the numerous emails that I had to go back and forth with him in. I don't normally right reviews but this is one that deserved my time to write.

TIPS : You guy’s need to book under 2 host if want to stay here , either Wodages or Mykey Global, we recommend Wodages! This property have more then 6 host running business here, make sure you book with this 2 host.
If you are driving, make sure book in advanced for car park lot.
If you’re on budget trip , this is the place that you wanna stay,
If you more like into comparing service of hotel’s, we not recommend you to stay here.
This place is not strategically located, however, you can book e-hailing apps to go city centre which only take 15 minutes ( with traffic )

Type of room we recommend:

Expressionz Loft ( Duplex Unit ) KLCC View
Expressionz Suites ( 2 bedroom ) City View
Premium Suites ( 1 bedroom ) City View

If you book other type’s of unit, do lower your expectations,
During our stay here, we book with for loft unit which is can occupy for 5 people ( adults )

I have stayed here four days. I chose this hotel for its pool view, I came and found out that exactly that pool is not free even when I’m staying at this hotel. But it’s ok, I payed 10 RM (how I remember) for a day and enjoyed that excellent pool view. The breakfast was included, there was nothing special, just ordinary food. And the diversity of food was not much, it was ok. I remember that chocolate cupcakes were so delicious. The staff was friendly. The view from my hotel room on the 47 floor was just wonderful. One day I found a big cockroach at the bathroom, I called the reception, they came and helped quickly. There were many useful things at the hotel room: kettle, washing machine, iron... I also like the interior. In general I would say it wasn’t as amazing as I imagined watching the photos before visiting the place, but It was beautiful and I’m thankful. But I will not stay here for the next time definitely. I’ll try another place. For the view you can visit here once. It is worth it!

This company has ripped us off big time. We lost our key and were charged 50 euro for the lost key. When we found it again and sent it to them by mail, they refuse to return the 50 euro which they promised us we would get back when returning the key.
Suddenly nobody is aware of this rule, whilst the front office had it written in their house rules.

Also the room was terrible, we booked for 4 persons and 1 had to sleep on a sofa which didn't even have any bedding. We didn't have enough towels and service was terrible.

the pool is disgusting, full of hairs.

never go there!

Nothing special about the room. Everything was not up to a hotel standard. Parking was charged even for guests. The parking experience itself is already a bad one. Foreigner security guard was rude and unhelpful. Check in staffs did not even smile or greet us when we approached them. Deposit for the room were collected and even when the staff explained about the parking fee and pass, she did not even put up a smile. Just her sour face the whole time. (I didn’t get the name of this staff though)
When we went into the room, the sofa was covered with white cloth, we removed the cloth only to find out the sofa was full of stain. Yucks! Then we found out there was no television provided in the room. Supposed to be a smart tv projector available but no instructions were given on how to use the projector or where it was. Room and stairs light were too dim and dark, one of us almost fell down the stairs coz it was dark although it was at 3:30 pm at that time. Counter staffs from MyKey Global were rude, unhelpful and clueless about handling issues on our room. Seriously need to train the front desk staffs on greetings and courtesy when it comes to dealing with guests. When we raised our complaints, staff concerned (Izzati) simple said she didn’t know, showed alsolutely no empathy or appropriate facial expression and no apology on behalf of the management (with regards to our complaint)
The whole experience was a disaster, we were tired and we expect to relax upon checking in but the experience here was entirely unpleasant, from the time we checked in until the time we decided to check out after less than an hour of checking in. Refund on the room were not given at the point of request, we were told it will take about a week so let’s see if the staff concerned is really providing the service level up to a professional standard or was just saying all that so that we leave the counter. Totally not recommended mostly due to the service level which was so unprofessional and lack of warm hospitality!! The room was not up to minimal standard ( with stains or sofa and carpet)

Azelene Ahmad (checked in on 21/05/2022 checked out same date - Room A-39-07)

Bad experience which spoiled my entire weekend!

This place has made me pay RM 300 for deposit via Credit Card. They said I'll recieve the money back within a month as my card was foreign. It's been 2 months and it nothing. It's all lies. I have sent multiple emails and no responses. The room was ok when we entered after we waited in the lobby for 2.5 hours for our room. Unfortunately the rooms weren't cleaned properly. There were still confetti laying around in the bedroom from previous stays. There was no hot water for showers and room service came around 9pm. There was constant noise from the above room all night. Felt like someone kept moving furniture around, thumbs on the ground.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Staff at the front desk are quite curt and we weren’t shown to our rooms, we were given our key card and some vague directions. Which I didn’t mind until the guest staying in the room opposite ours walked into our room upon arrival, thinking it was theirs, just as we were getting dressed!

Also, we didn’t realise that there is a switch next to the light switches for hot water and we had some cold showers before realising this. It would have been helpful to have been shown this or for there to be an information booklet in the room outlining this.

Our room was small but had a great view and was completely silent. Our room was not cleaned at all during our stay, although fresh towels were left outside our room daily.

Please note that there are no nearby shops/cafes/restaurants near this hotel and they don’t have their own restaurant.

Staff at the front desk struggled to understand English and this language barrier made it difficult to communicate with them about any issues we had. When we were checking out, a member of staff asked me if there was anything that could have improved our stay, but he didn’t understand what I said in response.

We used the infinity pool which has great views, however, everyone up there was queuing for a pic at the end of the pool.

In summary, a decent stay for the price, but if I could go back, I’d pay a bit more for somewhere better.

Well, we booked it for 3 nights, and only because of that infinity pool view ( by the way you need to pay for it separately ( welcome to Malaysia;)) overall our number was huge (110 m) but quite dull and tired, was some holes in the walls, some broken sockets etc. Even remote was without batteries, and no hot water in the sink taps, only in showers. When we contacted mykeys , they send a man who bring batteries and the knife, because no knifes was found in a kitchen) Was strong smell in a toilet as well, and some small red ants ) Location was ok, if you going by Grab in town centre, but if you decide to walk, its a bit complicated, because not everywhere is pedestrian walkways) So its ok for 1-2 nights, if you need good photos with city panorama from the infinity pool, for everything else -you can find better hotel!) imho

We stayed at this hotel in Kuala Lumpur after a wonderful stay in Bali, and unfortunately the experience was anything but pleasant. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with disconcerting coldness. No help was offered to accompany us to our room, we found ourselves alone with our luggage, without the door even being opened for us.

The room was spacious, but had an unpleasant smell, which greatly affected our comfort. Additionally, there wasn't even soap at the sink, which is a basic service you expect to find in any hotel.

Finally, the hotel's location is quite far from the city center, which required us to take longer trips than planned to explore the city.

Overall, our stay here was a big disappointment after spending time in other welcoming, well-kept places. We were hoping for a more pleasant experience, but unfortunately we did not find the level of service and comfort here that we expected.

I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel. The receptionist and staff were neither professional nor friendly, and they didn’t bother to explain anything about the hotel upon check-in.

The pool is not included in the room rate, and you have to pay 30 MYR to enter, even if you're a guest at the hotel! The air conditioner in our room was leaking, causing water to pool all over the floor. There was no hot water in the shower either. When I contacted the receptionist about these issues, they did not answer, and when they finally did, they couldn’t help.

Additionally, our flight was late in the evening, but checkout was at 11 AM. To store our luggage, we had to pay extra. All payments were only accepted in cash, which we did not have, so we had to go to an ATM, losing time and money.

Overall, please avoid this hotel.
