Aside from the location of the hotel, which was great; we were given room No. 710, the worst room we've stayed in a 4-star hotel. The picture posted on the Agoda and the website for their superior room is not the same as the room allocated to us. 1) Room 710's toilet and shower doors are literally facing the side of the bed, within 2 steps away. It was very uncomfortable. Luckily the toilet was ok and has no smell, whatsoever. When I asked the Receptionist if all their rooms are like this, she said yes and asked me if I wanted to upgrade to a deluxe room for which I have to pay more. When I look back at the photo posted on the website and AGODA, the picture of the Superior room is totally different from what was allocated to us. I am appalled by that. I should have gotten the name of the receptionist. She is not friendly at all. 2) The sink tap came off. The sink is located in the room within the foyer. So with the faulty tap, if we accidentally turn on the water high, it splashes on the floor. Since the sink is located in the room's foyer, you can imagine how uncomfortable it is to have a wet floor within the room. I asked for an extra towel from housekeeping but my request was ignored. 3) The hanging knob in the shower came off. 4) The fridge was spoilt. I called the technician and he is helpful enough to call housekeeping to change it. 5) The aircon was not cold. The technician is kind enough to look into it on the spot. Kudos to him. All in all, my experience with Ansa Hotel KL was not pleasant. I would not recommend it to my family and friends as there are other hotels within the same location as theirs. …
Check in was speedy and efficient . Room was decent size for the price. Wifi signal was excellent although TV was limited at best. Location aas excellant for both KLCC and local nightlife. Monorail and LTR both within a couple of minutes walk.
We're a family of 3 and stayed here for 2 days (but we booked for 4 days/3 nights). We arrived at around 2:00 am and we were greeted by the staff. I'm sure that we booked their promo on their website "Family City Break", which runs from Feb 15, 2022 to Dec 31, 2022. I was expecting the package inclusions of vegetarian breakfast and Hop On Hop Off Bus Ticket but according to the staff, there's no free breakfast. I was disappointed but it's okay and moved on. Anyways, we enjoyed and loved our stay. The hotel's location was perfect! The hotel room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel.
Hotel is nice, Room is clean, Bed is comfy, Pillow is great, Coffee Machine is Superb and all in the room is great. You must try the Junior Suits OMG its superb and of course all this starts with the HOTEL MANAGER MS SP LOW who were great and i see her 24/7 working and with her superb team handling all reservation and the best part is they remember names and they knows what is my need. This is the best ever place to stay
Very close to bukit bintang mrt n monorail. Mall, restaurants money changer are all around the hotel. Very strategic location. I rate 3 just because of the staffs not really that friendly to it guest. Should learn more manner in responding guest request, especially the indian lady at the counter.
I arrived at KL on 4th August to celebrate my husband's birthday which fell on 3rd August. Check-in was smooth but was a bit disappointed that they didnt wish my husband a happy birthday. We got the deluxe room on the 12th floor which had a view of Pavilion, which was quite nice! However, there are definitely quite a few areas to improve in the hotel room. Firstly, the mattress was quite hard. I had an okay sleep but definitely had much better mattresses at most other hotels i've stayed in. Secondly, the aircon took forever to cool the room! They had a very old thermostat in which you have to turn the dial to the desired temperature. We even left the aircon on for the whole day but it still did not cool down our room and it was almost like room temperature despite turning it on to '10 degrees celsius'. Lastly, i didnt experience it in my room, but my sister who was staying on the 11th floor, said that she saw a cockroach in her room. Other than that, everything else was quite good especially in terms of location. Its less than 5 mins away from most of the major shopping malls in bukit bintang and also to the train station! I really loved the hustle and bustle of ansa walk and all of the shops located there. The staff were all friendly and the concierge were really helpful with our baggage upon checkout as well. Overall i would give it a 3.5/5. I feel that this hotel has great potential and definitely will come back again if the rooms have been improved.…
Upon arriving we were told straight away that room will be cleaned every two days but towels changed everyday which was fine. The room was not as we expected. Sink was outside and we saw sandflies on the sink and flying around. Shower was small and bed was hard where you can feel the springs. Air-conditioning was hot throughout the night. We checked out the next day.
Location is everything for this hotel. Room is so so... looks quite old but still well maintained. Since besides the hotel is mall building, hence i can't see any cityview from my room. Staff is friendly... Hotel lobby/check in area is good. But hotel room is old, the bed is very hard.
My plan was to work from this hotel and at the same time to unwind from the stressful pandemic situation. Had a very satisfactory of a week stay at ANSA Hotel. Check-in & check-out very smooth. Requested for a room which can connect my laptop to the TV screen. Upon checked in their technician came over to my room to attach my laptop to the big screen. Room is clean and the modern design does help in making the room looks bright and comfortable. What makes it even better is Ms Fazlina Jamil has made arrangement for my breakfast to be room delivered on daily basis prior to my office hour starts. The hotel is located at the center of KL with Pavillion just around the corner and lots of restaurants nearby. You wont be out of "makan place". Would like to express my gratitude to all the staffs especially Ms Fazlina for making my stay so memorable. Housekeeping was superb, fast and systematic and the room is spotless clean every time. Reception, technician & security guard are friendly and courteous. I truly recommend the hotel and definitely will come again be it for wok or leisure.…
Great location & you will never get difficulties to access any from shopping to food. Zen style lobby & friendly Front Office Staffs with smooth check-in & out process. Kudos to Cleaning Team during the pandemic time & room was nice + comfort which ensure you have a good night sleep. It doesnt matter when cleaning not done daily to ensure less contact for both parties and you may place request for the cleaning service if needed which mostly suitable for me. Hopefully can be travel back soon & recommended to others.
