Great views of the city but not right In the centre you need to take a cab or the shuttle but the cabs were not expensive. We were very disappointed in this hotels rooms and could smell.cigarette smoke often. The rooms were old and the toilet was troublesome. The front end staff were awesome and most helpful. The laundry machine... More

Like the traditional Japanese lifestyle of sleeping on tatami bed, a thin mattress on the floor. This room is big with a living hall and bathroom with a small hot tub for private onsen. A good view of the lake from the room. Overall, a good experience to start our Kyushu Island holiday.

As others have said we found this place a bit tired but charming none the less. The room was a great size -3 single beds. The view was fantastic - night or day. We purchased day passes for the trams so got the shuttle bus own to the station an then trams to the various sights from there. Besides the... More

We went to Nagasaki for 2 nights and stayed in this hotel. By watching the night view from the room in this hotel is fantastic! The front desk and the conceige is very kindness. The room is big and comfortable. However, the TV is too small and the bathroom is too old. It is sad that there is no hot... More

The view was really nice up the hills... some travel from the city, but the view is worth the travel. Rooms are large, basically japanese setup, which means you have to take off your shoes when entering the sleeping and resting area. dinner and breakfast are included in the package, food variety is nice and fresh, you can make your... The hotel is located on the hill and it makes every guest room has a spectacular view of Nagasaki harbour especially at night. The room is clean and very big equipped with 3 beds and a sofa area. We bought the room package at a reasonable rate with dinner buffet which included all you can eat Japanese beef and crab... More

Very large Japanese style rooms. Helpful staff. Spectacular views of the city. The only downside is that although its less than 1km from the train station, that 1km is straight uphill, and the direct path is via a maze of steep steps through temples and graveyards. The hotel does run a shuttle bus in the morning and early evenings but... More

Pros: the view of Nagasaki. We got upgraded to a huge corner room with a panoramic view of the city. The room was huge even for an American standard. My in-laws' room next to ours has a view out of the furo bath. The hotel is a bit old but well maintained. The beds are comfortable. The buffet breakfast was... More

I booked a triple-share room (3 adults and 2 young kids) and it was spacious enough for all of us. The hotel is quite old and just by looking at the map, I was misled into thinking that it was easy to navigate to the train station. Imagine my surprise when we found out that the hotel was located high... More
