It is about a 500m walk to the railway station and the tram stop is close by. The buffet breakfast (in Cafe Tsuru) is inexpensive and of variety and quality. My room had no view (probably only a couple per floor do), but there was a fridge. I was surprised to find the toilet, bathroom, and washbasin in separate rooms. There is some traffic noise and some from the fridge.

The location was close to the tram line and various shopping malls and convenient stores. The rooms were small but functional. Washing machine, dryer and microwave was provided on Level 2 and iron was also provided upon request. The rooms were clean and a handy phone was also provided complimentary by the hotel to visitors, which was very much appreciated.

We stayed two nights here. There was nearby parking, it had a great location, being within 20 minutes from the Spectacles Bridge and the well known Shopping Street, Hamanomachi Arcade Kankou Doori, Train Station, Dejima, and shopping centres. We didn't need meals at the hotel as cafes were open from 7.30am, and there were many restaurants nearby. The staffs were very friendly.

Very simple functional hotel. Truly no frills. Laundry is good but limited. Only 2 machines and cost 900 yen for a big load. Breakfast is basic. Location is average as well. Tram station is 3 mins away, Nagasaki Station is 10 mins away.

S peria Hotel, Nagasaki. The hotel is in a convenient location between the JR station shopping complex and the YouMe shopping centre and is near two streetcar (tram) stops. The airport bus has a stop not far from the hotel (ask for it when boarding at the airport) that is convenient for arrival though it is best to go to the bus terminal when leaving. Check out the way there before lugging cases to the terminal as the road system can force you up and down steep stairs if you are not prepared. We were impressed by the honesty of the staff. As we were packing up to check out, a money wallet was dropped from a bag, fell under a bed and was not missed until we reached Tokyo. It was found by the cleaning staff, handed to the management and a friend was able to pick it up for us. Highly praiseworthy and typical Japanese honesty. The breakfast is as good as claimed and well recommended. We found the air-conditioning too noisy and had to be turned off at night until one of the staff translated the instructions for the extended operations and we could select a quieter mode. The room was not well planned, as other reviewers have noted, and it was much smaller than expected. Once again there was little space for cases but there were hangers on the wall for clothing. We always travel with additional wire hangers and these proved useful again. The laundry took a lot of yen and the dryer proved to be a waste of time and money proving to be ineffective. The instructions are not in English though a staff member tried to help.
