Love this ryokan though is 10mins walk from Nagasaki JR station. Not difficult, go to the information counter, they will guide you. Mr Fujiwara was aware of our arrival, and he greeted me by name. I was impressed. We were kinda of early for checkin, he said we could leave our lugguages to him. We told him that we would... More

We stayed for 2 nights at Fujiwara Ryokan. It is conveniently situated walking distance to the train station, as well as many of Nagasaki's sights. We happened to be there during the lantern festival, we just had to walk a couple of blocks to Megane bridge & we were smack in the middle of everything. Since we are good walkers... More

I stayed here for one night in January 2015 and absolutely loved it. It's the perfect base for exploring Nagasaki, since it's near a tram line and a short walk to the station (I think I read that it was 8 minutes, but it was really more like 4-5 minutes), where there are more tram lines. There are several restaurants... More

Great place with top notch hospitality! Master Fujiwara is always there when we were going out or coming back, and he is very friendly answering our enquiries. The room was clean, a bit tight for 5 of us plus lugagge, so better to pack a separate bag instead of lugging huge suitcases(no lift) if driving. The staff also housekeep our... More

Fujiwara is a cut above the standard suburban ryokan and conveniently located within walking distance to the central train station (10 minutes) for an early morning departure to Kurokawa Onsen. It's also just a couple of minutes to the nearest tram stop where one of the quaint street cars will take you quickly to wherever you want to go. Our... More

We liked the traditional Japanese style room very much. The tatami floor, the futons, we had a television, a little fridge, a table, air condition, green tea...It was a nice atmosphere. We bookes a double room with shared bath room and toilet. This was the only bad thing about it. I didn't like the shared toilet. It looked like a... More

Clean and spacious rooms, good breakfast and fantastic service and friendliness. Very good value for money. After arriving we washed some of our clothes. When we returned home later that evening our clothes was hanged up. The owner and the place makes for en real authentic stay when being in Nagasaki and you get the feeling that these people genuinely... More

We had a one night stay at the Fujiwara Ryokan in Nagasaki as our first leg of our honeymoon. We reserved two rooms, one for our friend and one for us two. The owner, Mr. Fujiwara, was kind enough to wait for our friend's suitcase courier service arrival. He also let us keep our suitcases for the following day after... More

I had a nice stay at this ryokan. Mr Fujiwara was pleasant as was his wife. They allowed me to stay in a bigger room at single room's price which was very generous of them. The room was clean and had a generous space. The Ryokan is about 9 minutes walk from the JR Nagasaki station and 2 minutes walk... More

It was the best place to stay during my whole trip to various cities around Japan. First of all, although Mr. Fujiwara may not speak english too much, he helped me a lot, gave many advices about where to eat and so on. Every morning when I was off to discover Nagasaki, he greeted me and waited until I left.... More

Fujiwara Ryokan is a Japanese-style inn, located only 8min walk from JR Nagasaki Station and 2 min walk from Sakuramachii Tram Station. You can experience the nostalgic atmosphere of Nagasaki city while your stay in our Ryokan. You can easily reach most of the Nagasaki's tourist attractions by transportation of Tram and JR. You can hear trams come and go, the ringing bells from Naka-machi Church, and the beating sound of drums in Suwa Shrine. Our building is in the middle of a slope of a silent stone-paved road.
