Although the view may be spectacular, this hotel should be skipped! First of all it's situated at the wrong side of the city up the hill (Nagasaki city is split by water), so - unless you have a car - you will need a cab (JPY 1200 one way) or take a bus (JPY 150 one way, twice an hour, busstop close to the hotel) to reach down town and get back to the hotel. Secondly, the (huge and empty) hotel is totally worn out and smells that way. The lobby, hallways, elevators, room and futons they smell! This hotel should be refurbished big time! In the room no Wifi. It is the anonymous kind of hotel where Japanese group bustravelers spent just a night and move on. Japanese breakfast (no choice of western style) is being served in an enormous hall with almost no guests. It was a surreal experience. It is fair to say that we skipped the hotel's 'onsen' facility at the third floor. The smell of a long time non ventilated bathroom was not too appealing to us... The staff is doing its best, but they... More

We stayed for one night in this hotel which is located at the side of Mt. Inasa when we visited Nagasaki. The hotel is good as a base to visit the local tourist spots such as Glover Garden, Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum. The staff there is very nice and helpful. On arrival, the staff helped us to park our car and bring our luggage to our room. They don't speak good English but we managed to get the required information and arrange for our dinner and breakfast. The dinner was served in our room which is a very unique service which we really appreciate. The night view from our room is really worth 10M dollar so they claimed, it is so very beautiful overlooking at all the lights in Nagasaki Port and bridge. We also used the outdoor spa which overlook the magnificient night view. With the nice night view and service, it is really worth staying there. More
