when i am on business trip, i never ask for upgrade or request a larger room, when I am with my family, i ask for upgrade and a large room, either of them happened here , this is my 10th visit this hotel and seems like they don't appreciate my business or my platium /titatium status. also no one at the check in at the lounge told me, drinksin the room refrigerator was free, or offer the breakfast at the restaurant , it's very disappointing that my Japanese staff who are not marriott members get better room and coupon for breakfast at the restaurant. i will be finding another Marriott hotel in Osaka from now on.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Amazing, clean and beautiful hotel. Incredible view from our large, corner room on the 49th floor. Housekeeping staff does an excellent job. The only downside was that the food was disappointing (had dinner at the lobby bar) but there are numerous restaurants very nearby. Would definitely stay there again and dine elsewhere.
Brought my family and parents here for a 3 night stay and we were blown away. The floor to ceiling city views from everywhere - the hotel lobby, the rooms, the viewing gallery at the top and the toilets at the top floor - were simply stunning. We didn’t bear to draw the curtains and fell asleep admiring the night views from the bed. Room was very spacious by Japan standards, interiors were modern and luxurious, beds were comfortable - everything was perfect. Location very central, connected to subway and surrounded by malls. I enjoyed my stay very much, will be back.
Just spent a week at the Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel and they made us feel very comfortable from beginning to end. We travels during the Corona virus time and the hotel provided plenty of hand sanitizing stations to make sure we had clean hands. The morning breakfast was outstanding and the staff was first rate. The rooms were very nicely appointed and very comfortable. The staff cleaned our room daily and helped with any requests that we had. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay. If I ever return, I would book this hotel first. Right above the Tennoji Station, it was very convenient to catch a train to wherever you needed to go. We visited Tokyo and Kyoto with ease.

The hotel located in the highest building in Japan, totally worth the price (triple of normal basic room in Japan). Staff is helpful, very attentive to our needs. Hotel breakfast is good, with many choices of food, eggs are made upon order. The view from the room is spectacular, day or night. The hotel also offers a free voucher for tickets to the sky building! Will definitely come back for their views in the room, comfy bed!
Beyond First Class ! The Royal Suite 5421 was fabulous, with stunning views from Japan’s tallest building & being the second largest suite after the Imperial Suite. The rooms were fresh & spotless. Ionisers & humidifiers were also provided in each room. The firmness of the bed was exactly how I liked it. Toiletries were by Thann a luxury spa brand from Thailand. Service from the Club Floor Lounge was excellent where I required meticulous attention with all the sights I wanted to see & how is get there by the metro or JR Line & walking route to the last mile. There was always lots of F&B in the Lounge where the range of drinks were particularly impressive. Lastly the bell service was beyond first class. It was Diamond Class. I had 2 assistance: 1 bell captain & 1 bell boy: Yusuke & Kohei to assist in transporting all my 5 pieces of luggage to catch the JR Line Haruka Express Tennoji-KIX from the Osaka Marriott Hotel. Without their help; it would have been near impossible to manage. Staying at The Royal Suite has its privileges. (Now taking a cab would have been more convenient; but during the peak rush hour; the journey would have taken much much longer vs the 35 minute Express. Special Thanks to the General Manager & his team. In particular Seiji Yodo Executive Assistant Manager & Katsuyuki Uetsuji Club Lounge Executive Manager who both warmly greeted me at the Club Lounge. Thank you to all the staff for an excellent job. Alan Leong Singapore TripAdvisor Level 6 …
Be warned - the entrance to the hotel is on the 19th floor above the train station. That can be confusing when you get off the train. Only certain elevators will take you there so we had to ask for directions, but once we got up there, we almost didn’t want to leave. Yes the view is amazing. Yes the building is tall (we stayed in the 55th floor). But the incredible staff and overall comfort of the hotel and it’s room is what made our stay so memorable. Not every stay is without its issues, but the staff went well out of their way to resolve any issues and left us thinking that Marriott had found the nicest people in the world.
We arrived straight after a long flight and got checked in easy and quickly. All staff were very polite and helpful. We were on the 48th floor with such amazing views that I didn’t even touch the curtains at night. The bar was great with delicious cocktails and whisky and attentive staff. The reception was one of the most beautiful sites of the hotel, I would definitely love to come back!
We stayed in two rooms for four night in January during our three week Japan trip, Getting to the hotel from Shin-Osaka, where the bullet train arrives is a half day journey itself and the station above which the hotel sits is the size of a small country, so plan accordingly. We were there during Chinese New Year and the hotel was full. One of our rooms on check in stank of smoke, and we asked to move - which after a wait - they did, to a larger room on the other side of the floor. The rooms are fine - amazing views as others have said, the mattresses are a little soft (but that's just a preference). We eat a few times in the Lobby Plus bar and the food was great - unlike breakfast which was a little industrial - with lots of kids running about. The concierge was ok - but not brilliantly informed. Overall, its a fine hotel and I am sure, when its not full, has better service.…
