Osaka Garden Palace's first impression was its grand lobby. It is a really nice hotel to stay in Osaka, also, they give you a map of what's near the hotel (convenience stores, department stores, etc.). The hotel surrounding isn't a busy area. It has a shuttle bus to the Shin-Osaka station. The staff cleans the room every day, and also... More

Osaka Garden Palace hotel was located far end left of Shin Osaka station. It was next to a pump station with not much convenient stores around. So we ended up taking their shuttle bus to move from station to hotel and via versus. The frequency of the shuttle bus was quite alright. Hotel lobby was spacious and grand. The rooms... More

We stayed here before and after our excursion to Tokyo. Shin-Osaka train station serves numerous tourists areas. The Hotel has a dedicated bus service that is located outside the North exit at Shin-Osaka. Look for a sit down coffee shop and around that corner is McDonalds. Take the escalator located near McDonalds down to exit the station. The bus service... More

PREMISE:Good base for exploring Kansai (Kyoto, Namba, Kobe) Hotels in Osaka are generally cheaper than say Kyoto or Namba, so lots of people stay in Osaka and use it as a base for exploring Kansai, particularly if you're visiting a different city each day. PRICE: Great value during off peak season. My family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and paid 27.000 JPY, breakfast included. Convenient shuttle bus between hotel and Shin-Osaka station every 15 minutes. The stop at the station itself may be hard to find, so check with the staff before arriving at Osaka. Nothing spectacular in the neighbourhood, so basically this hotel functions as a starting point for your trips. Comfortable... More

I booked this hotel for one night as an extra night in osaka. I'm glad i didnt stay here the whole time it doesn't feel like you're in osaka, its a bit out of the way. Didnt find the staff that helpful. We checked in late so might of been annoyed at us for that. Rooms were typical small japanese... More

This was my second stay at this hotel. This hotel is located on the 'other' side of Shin Osaka station and therefore has quite simply nothing around it. However: if you are looking for someplace to use a s a hub for your travel in surrounding cities, that is reasonably priced and accessible to shinkansen tracks, this is your hotel.... More

Nice hotel, excellent staff. The interior is dated but thats with 99% of hotels in Japan. The location is very nice, with Shin-Osaka Station only minutes away (this is a key train Station in Japan and the hotel provides a shuttle service every 15mins or so)

The room was tiny but since we used it only for sleeping we didn't mind. I recommend having breakfast there as well - rich buffet menu with excellent Japanese food. The staff was helpful and friendly. European travellers, do ask for a plug-in adapter at the reception desk.

Due to select group tour, we don't have any choice but to stay here. As most Japanese hotel, room is very small, bathroom is also very small. But staffs are kind and nice, breakfast was wonderful even this is not top level hotel. In Summer, air conditioner was good and water (bathroom) itself is very good for skin. Hotel has... More
