It's a convenient hotel close to Shin-Osaka station (5 min by walking) but very noisy due to the train departure. I was staying at the 14th floor and it was above the AC system which was loud in the evening. There is not much to do around; nothing to visit. Most of people visiting the hotel are business travellers. The... More

The hotel is quite a distance from the centre. While it is a walking distance from Shinkansen station, I'd only advise if you want to visit other places like Kyoto, Hiroshima and Nara. We booked for a non-smoking room. However, the hallway reeks with the pungent smell of cigarette. We've also called the front desk office to ask something. Yet,... More

Basic hotel near Shin Osaka station. Helpful staff, I needed to exchange currency and they were able to point me in the right direction. Was able to use this as a base to explore Osaka for a few days.

Had two nights in this hotel. Room was small and there was fire alarm twice in a night. Came down to check at the front desk. The staffs did not seem amazed and simply said they would check it out! Had an iPhone charger stolen while plugged onto the wall socket when came back in the hotel on an evening.... More

Walking distance from Shinkansen station, handy to get to. From there you can take JR train to Osaka main shopping area, only one stop, 5 minute ride. It's big hotel, however very dated. The reception could do with a bit of a fresh paint, walls all marked, old filing cabinets... For a moment I thought I had left Japan! The... More

We stayed here for 4 days during April 2016. The hotel is opposite Shin Osaka train station which makes it very convenient if you are using the Shinkansen. Osaka is a five minute ride away by train. Our room was on the 16th floor and had a good view but the rooms are quite small and the bathroom is tiny.... More

I was staying here for 3 night. Nice hotel with good location. Close to shin osaka station. I got room with Osaka view. And As another japan hotel's room, my room was so tiny and simple but clean. Love it!! The price was a little bit expensive so I booked room without breakfast.

Assuming that for tourists the main reason to stay in Shin Osaka is to be close to the train station during travel on JR, this is very close to the station if you know how to get there and can't read Japanese. Here are some tips: the main south exit from the station is on the 2nd fl. To get... More

My Husband and I went to Osaka on the Japanese long weekend. All budget hotels were full so I had to end up with this hotel. We booked through Agent, we got non-smoking twin room on the top floor. It sounded nice, right? I got Osaka view but another floor above us was restaurant. I could hear people walk around,... More

This seems to be a traditional business hotel that has aged a bit and probably caters to corporate and tour groups that aren't expecting anything too much more than the basic. Biggest selling point for us was the location, but it turned out to be quite confusing to find the place if you didn't retrace your exact steps back to... More
