I am writing this review sitting on the rooftop watching the sunset, listening to a parade and its beautiful. Dont expect this to be a fancy hotel, its small its quaint little rooms with little beds. I came in off season in the last week of June so had the entire room and bathroom to myself. The lady running this... More

Location not very good as its pretty hidden plus it didn't help that I arrived at night making it even more difficult to find it. the bathroom was like a sardine can as its small and the toilet is small as well. the room was pretty small and stuffy too. The part I didn't appreciate was having to pay a... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a good enough to rate it averagely. Not the cleanest or most comfortable hostel (no drink/food to rooms) but it was the friendly staff that made the stay well worth it. One toilet & shower per 3 rooms might come bit nifty if all are filled to capacity but i didnt get... More

broken locks in room and toilet, food and drinks not allowed in room, the hot water available only upon request (but no staff in the hostel after 9pm! And the hot water switch was hiding inside one of the guest room....), no signs from the JR station to the hostel, bathroom was full of junk and debris, but no hook... More

Good point: the location was ok, the AC was good, the price ist low. Bad point: it smells bad, it is dirty, cheap beds, broken doors, and most of all: check in between 7pm-9pm and check out not before 8am. If you want to leave earlier, you have to give your keys the night before and stay in the hostel,... More

IM Guesthouse is up there with the weirder places I have stayed. It's in a very quiet residential area close to a shopping precinct which is very handy. The lady who runs the place and met us at reception is ridiculously friendly. She's a real character. This doesn't mask over though that this is a very basic guesthouse and won't... More

We travelled to osaka for 5 days or so, they provided us with the best information and places to go while we were there. The best customer service I experienced in Japan so friendly and nice. You get what you pay for not the cleanness or best hostel in the world, but it does the job if you need somewhere... More

My husband 3 kids (15,13 and 9) and myself stayed here in January 2014 and were greeted by Nami who lived around the corner. She came and went in the morning and evening but not in between. This suited us a we were in and out ourselves during the day. The place is small but welcoming with no signs of... More

I volunteered here, and from seeing things that most guests wouldn't, there was reasons why it smelled like mould. There was water damage on the floors and the walls. There was old wallpaper some pieces held on with tape, underneath the wall was crumbling. The owner, Nami's son, obviously wasn't putting the of fort or the money to appropriately fix... More
