We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and we were very happy that we choose Daiwa Roynet. It is located in a very convenient location, everything you need is just a few steps away from the hotel. Metro station (Tanimachi 9-chome) and Osaka-uehonmachi station (Kintetsu line) are just 3-5 mins walk. Kansai Airport limousine bus is also 5 mins walk and located in front of Kintetsu mall. It is better to use the bus if you have a lot of luggages as its hard to carry if you go by train to the airport. With just a ¥1,600 fare, it is highly recommended. Check-in time was smooth and Kawami in the front desk was very helpful that she gave in with my request of top floor with city view. The size of the room is big compare to Japanese standard, big bed too that we the family of three with a teenager fits in the bed and still has a lot of space left. This hotel helps our entire trip comfortable and convenient as we always use trains to and from our tour. Supermarket Aeon is 24 hrs open which located at the left side of the hotel. Cheap and palatable dishes for lunch and dinner are everywhere specially HiHitown beside Tanimachi station. Old mall with a lot of Japanese restaurants inside, you will find mostly locals were eating there. As I love shopping and buying presents and souvenirs, Don Quijote Uehonmachi is just 10 mins walk. I've been to Donki in Namba/Dotonbori and its hard for me to shop there as it is too crowded. Unlike the Uehonmachi branch, smaller but everything you need can be found and you are relaxed to shop as it is not crowded. Mostly locals are buying in this branch and found out that the prices are cheaper than in Dotonbori branch. After the whole day trip, you can take a rest and still can go in Don quijote even late at night as its closing time is 4am. This hotel is the best 3 star I've been to! Will definitely come back and recommend to my friends. We didn't took the breakfast offer as its mostly Japanese breakfast and can pay the same amount outside the hotel and find better options. If you are a coffee lover, you can ask for sachets in the reception as it is not provided in the room. Its free and just you need to do is ask.

Stayed during cherry blossom's season in April'19 with families. We booked 3 rooms for 4 nights stay. Rooms are not very spacious but adequate to put 2 medium/large luggage. Clean and tidy room. Here are the following points about the hotel. Pros : 1. Location is convenient ie to subways - Tanimachi 9, Kintetsu train station and there is also an airport bus stop from Kansai (all within walking distance too). 2. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Recommend to try “All You Can Eat” superb and delicious wagyu beef - Shabu Shabu Tajimaya @ HiHi Town and sushi @ Hotel Sushi Main Store (both walking distance). 3. Close to Aeon supermarket (24 Hours) and many pharmacies and 24 hours convenient stores nearby. 4. Friendly staff who can communicates in English. 5. Good Japanese branded toiletries provided in-room such as body soap, shampoo and etc. It will be perfect if the hotel could provide moisturizers especially during dry/cold seasons. 6. Excellent water/shower pressure. Cons : 1. No buffet breakfasts. Limited ie only 3 set of choices of breakfast to choose. Tasty but it can become boring after a long stay. 2. No complimentary drinking bottled water provided. Were told tap water is safe to drink. (So far so good) Others : 1. If you want coffee, help yourself to free packages of coffee, cream, sugar or teabags at the front desk. Overall, is a good hotel, clean, neat and comfortable stay with good location to plenty restaurants nearby and convenient to places of interest via subways and trains.

It was an ok hotel. The rooms are ok. I liked the fact that they had massage chairs. They tried to help me find my trains. I had amazing experiences at other hotels. This hotel was just not memorable or special if that's what you're looking for.

Stayed on the 14th floor. Beautiful view in the night. Surprised to find that the room was really big (Japanese standard )and that a foot massage was in the room. Came in handy after a long day out. There was even a facial steamer but as there was no English instructions was not able to use it. Humidifier was provided but did not use it. Reception staff was super helpful with their limited English language. Breakfast was on level one. Super convenient with the subway within a few minutes. Airport bus was at Sheraton hotel above subway. Will definitely stay there again.
