Most capsule hotels cram as many bunk beds as possible into an enclosed space. First Cabin provides individual pods per person with a small room with table/desk, room to stand and plenty of space for your belongings. Depending on the price you get this can be a very satisfying experience. Location is a 10. Staff and cleanliness also a Ten....

Excellent cabin hotel in downtown Osaka. Perfect for sightseeing. Mind you, it's an UPSCALE cabin hotel, so the rooms are bigger than average. Everything was perfectly clean, staff was super kind and gave us useful information and tips on the area. Maybe it's not ideal for long stays, but I would go there again in a hearbeat.

We stayed at First Cabin capsule hotel in November 2015. Each “room” has a small single bed, a table and that’s it. No door, just a thin curtain separating your capsule from the hallways. But we knew this, we wanted a different "hotel" experience when in Japan. The lovely ladies at reception, who were dressed like cabin crew to fit...

Instead of a capsule, everyone got a room-like cabin with curtain which consist of a single bed and a small space that fit a coffee table. This is a luxury version of capsule hotel and is a good option for those who used to stay at hotels to try "capsule" experience. This hotel is located conveniently next to the busy...

The room is very clear. The space is bigger than I expect. In my experience , this room space is almost same as those price USD70 per night , even better. Only carry your clothes , everything first cabin have. The location is also great. Shinsaibashi 、Dotonbori are nearby , it takes 10 minutes walk. However, the effect of sound...

We stayed here as a mother daughter couple for 3 nights in May 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed this small hotel. The location is really perfect! Exit 13 from the subway and you are there -fantastic. Just across the road are the shops and eateries of Osaka...Takoyaki, sushi train and every Japanese restaurant imaginable - all undercover pedestrian malls criss-crossing to...

If you are looking for somewhere just to put your head for the night I would recommend staying here. I flew into Osaka late in the evening and needed somewhere to stay for one night before I headed to Hiroshima. Thought I would try out a "cube" hotel and came across this hotel in my search. I was very impressed....

The hotel is located in Namba, in close proximity to city subway and JR stations, Dotonbori is just 5-10 minutes away. The room is just as advertised, small but not too cramped, and contains all the necessities required for a comfortable stay. It definitely gives off the feeling of a capsule hotel room but without the claustrophobic tendencies. The bed...

As per what my title suggests! It is certainly not as claustrophobic as a typical capsule hotel. Every facility (toilets, showers basins etc) is ultra clean. They make your bed everyday, provide you with fresh shower wear, toothbrush/paste, new slippers and the facilities are good! I find it a tad too warm but once i switch out into my tshirt...
