Hotel Vischio Osaka is a newly opened hotel in the heart of Osaka City. This modern and contemporary design Umeda hotel is suitable for both business and leisure travelers. It is conveniently located near to Osaka JR station.

This hotel was in a great location with all the usual mod cons. We stayed for 3 nights here. We didn't use any of the facilities here so cannot comment on that. We had a buffet breakfast in the Verde Cassa Italian restaurant which was a tasty combination of Japanese and Italian. The rooms themselves were relatively spacious with USB-A and main sockets in the headboard as well as various light controls. The beds were comfortable with not too many pillows. The room had both a bath and separate shower in the same room and only 1 sink for boiling water in the 0.8L jug as well as brushing your teeth with their complimentary toothbrushes. The only issue was the lack of hooks to hang clothes and towels on. Otherwise acceptably close to the main train station and mall.

Great location. Just across from Links Umeda and Grand Front Osaka, about 7mins walk from JR Osaka and Umeda stations. Room is reasonable sized, larger than JP standard even having space for bathtub in the shower room. Efficiently spaced, amenities are collected from the ground floor which even has a microwave service. Machines available for auto check out. Didn’t take the breakfast option as the Drip-X cafe onsite had pleasant simple toasts and coffee sets. Hotel location is great as a base for bus, subway and train links to anywhere in Osaka. Not giving full 5-stars as hotel rejected making restaurant reservations for me before arrival, citing that guests must be checked in first. Unfortunately many good restaurants I wanted to go to in Osaka require at least 1 month advance booking. In over 10 years of JApan travel, I’ve never had this issue with any hotel to help me on this before.

We stayed at Vischio Osaka for 2 nights. Location wise, it is very good as it is near the JR Osaka and Hankyu Umeda stations. We stayed in a triple room which we found to be bright and comfortable. Pricing wise, the room was also affordable. The hotel does not provide certain amenities such as toothbrushes and toothpastes, tea and coffee but these can be collected at the elevator area. There is also a laundromat on the 2nd floor should one decides to do laundry.

This hotel is situated opposite of grand front osaka and near shopping mall if you take airport shuttle bus just stop at new hankyu hotel and walk 5 to 10 mins . The room is big but dont expect have a good view .As I was arrived at night so I can straight to get my room promptly but if you arrive before 3 pm so i think you can't early get in as like another reviewer already told that as the Japanese practice always like this .The breakfast is not bad but everyday is the same as quite boring . So overall is recommended

We chanced upon this hotel which offered fantastic rates in downtown location. We took the limousine bus from the KIA airport and the drop-off point near the Osaka JR station was an easy 5 min walk away. The room was spacious for the price we are paying and being new, it was clean and modern. Check-in was quick and easy. Service was also great throughout our stay. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant in the hotel but had great breakfast in different cafe's including one at the hotel every day. It is an easy walk to shopping areas and restaurant. Access to the overhead walkway to the train station right after crossing the traffic junction two minutes from the hotel. We took day trips to Nara, Kyoto and Universal City using this hotel as the base. It is also very convenient for us as we depart the hotel for our next location since the bus station is only 5 minutes walk away. Overall, a very satisfying hotel with good location, great rooms and reasonable rates.

Typical business Japanese hotel. Shower/bath combination with slippers, towels, and robes. Amenities and microwave were on the first floor. There’s a washing machine on 2nd floor. 2 of the floors have vending machines and ice. Signs available were Do Not Disturb and Please Clean Up. They offer domestic delivery of luggages for a fee with Yamato Transport. I sent my luggage to my hotel in Tokyo for 1680 yen and traveled with just my backpack. Closest station is Osaka station and is conveniently accessible within 10 minute walk. Staff are all able to communicate in English (even trainees).

Enjoyed my 4 day stay in their standard single room. New hotel hence everything was great. While I did not get to try their buffet breakfast, the breakfast set in the cafe was not bad. Hotel is walking distance front Osaka station (less than 10min) opposite grand front umeda and the new mall with yodobashi electronics.

Overall good hotel, impression on arriving was that I had booked a really posh hotel! Grey cafe attached and the food there was a welcome change of menu from the standard Japan cuisine having been here for 2 weeks. We booked a twin room and I have to say it was huge! Loads of space which is really nice when sharing with a family member. Huge window and lots of light. Air con is ok but not as good as other hotels. Bathroom is lovely, no huge step to climb up which was different to other Japan hotels and full size bath which was great. Room itself was a bit tired in terms. Of decor. Beds were fine and comfy but the carpet really was quite disgusting, lots of stains and engrained dirt which made it feel dirty and there was quite a bit f dust on the furniture too. The main thing I found off putting about the hotel was it felt @a bit in your face” about the services available to what I presume would be business travellers (sorry a bit of a stereotype I know!) there was an advertised massage service from 9.30-11pm and the first thing I saw on watching the tv was “adult films”. Not something you really want when travelling as a family. Have stayed in 3 different hotels whilst in Japan and this was the only time I saw this. Location is great, close to shops, amenities and transport links.

This hotel is only 5 minutes walk from Osaka JR station (North Central Exit). Tucked in a quiet street and yet conveniently located near train station, shopping malls and many eateries around. Its also a quick 10 min walk to Umeda Sky Building. The room is clean and quiet. Checking in or checking out is a breeze as staff speaks good english.

Stylish hotel ideally located in the centre of Osaka close to shops, convenient stores and the station. Very helpful and friendly staff especially with left luggage. Rooms were compact but comfortable.

If you have JR pass you can use kansai rapid or JR trains without paying extra. It makes more stops to Osaka and takes longer than the direct bus by about 20 mins.
Limo bus fare costs more than the rapid train and you have to buy a ticket. Bus has stowage for luggage. For the train there is no specific luggage stowage area so if you have large luggage you will have to think about managing it. If you don’t have a JR pass then the bus costs a bit more m but eliminates the inconvenience of luggage dragging across underground network and escalators to get to the hotel via train.
There are more places to choose from in the Osaka area.
