First off all, let me start by saying I have been living in Japan for several years and find it very difficult to travel with family because most hotels charge per person, include expensive meals and youth hostels tend to be just as expensive as staying in a hotel with 4 people and yet are hard to find, separate family...

The room is small and I shared it with another person. My other friend had their own room and it was the same size as our shared one. Pretty much anything you think of was at a passable minimum. The only good things would be the TV and the public bath (which had a nice view of some architecture). There's...

I had personnaly a bad experience in this hotel. The checkout is strict : after 9am there is a fee of 500yen which is, for travellers/backpackers like me, a problem. No talk is possible, the rule is the rule and I didn't experience this behavior in other hotels. No discussion is possible with the staff. Also be careful, in summer...

Stayed solo at first then with a friend as he came over. Book a single room and a double room gave me same size room which the Japanese futon bed can't even fit 2. Shared bath only opens from 5pm to 10pm. Giving the time is inconvenient for travelers. Staffs were friendly but when ask on sensitive things like the...

Well, It's only 20 dollars for one night. so we didn't expect that much since it's a budget hostel. The room was really stinky, I guess most of people who previously stayed here just smoking in the room. They don't provide towels so we bought them from Daiso. Public women bathroom only runs from 4pm to 9pm, if you want...

Yes we're cheap so we deserved this dingy, smelly, not so clean and noisy (thanks to the inconsiderate guests and train station) hostel. From the outside, it looks promising. But when you get inside that clanky, metal door, you'd feel weak in your knees. That room was hardly a room to sleep in. The only saving grace is that invigorating...

I would say my tolerance for accommodation is pretty average, but this hostel really challenged my limit for travel lodging. I already prepared myself for this place as I went through a lot of review about this place, but none of them explained how bad this place is! We stayed here for three nights, not even a single night we...

Right after my friend red some coments about bad smell in hall, bad sanitary kitchen, shower, toilets etc. I got scared. The room is small, central old conditioner under the ceiling I think, some pipes are seen. Some stains on the walls, and also sleep sheets has strange white stains, metal door, railway nearby. I wouldn't sleep necked, the pillow...
