I stay in this capsule hotel sometimes because it is cheap and accepts women. It's a bit of a pain to go in and out as you have to check your shoes in and out every time you leave the hotel. You also have a locker for your valuables since the capsules do not lock: they just have a curtain....

Keep in mind this is a) a capsule hotel b) cheap Taking into account those two hugely important factors, I'd say this is a really really good place to stay. First off nobody should be planning to stay in capsule hotels for more than one or two nights unless in the strangest, most dire need. The sleeping arrangements are what...

Stayed here for one night, just for the experience and I am glad I did. I realised that these hotels aren’t really meant for the traveller, but more for the drunk business man who has missed his last train home, therefore I kept my room on at the hostel I was staying at so I could keep my luggage there....

We spent 1 night in this hotel, the check in was fine. The English level at reception okay. You could see that some of the facilities are in need of a makeover. The capsules themselves were more spacious than expected. One big downside was the fact that with the open style capsule you heard everyone coming and going and some...

Enjoyed staying here. Comfortable, a little smokey in the halls but loved the set up. Luggage is stored in lockers during the day. Tried the Japanese style onsen too! Exit 25 from JR but be sure to walk in opposite direction...away from exit...(opposite direction to the subway sandwich sign)...I got a bit lost at first. But near shinabashi station Osaka...

I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel is not really suitable for people on vacation, it's mainly meant for people on business who are staying a night. The capsules themselves are fine, with clean sheets and a tv, but other things in the hotel were lacking. There are no outlets in your capsule. The only outlets...

I travel to Osaka very often for work and this place is very close to my office, first time I stayed at a capsule hotel(10 years living here). For sleeping a couple of hours and going back home the next day(Tokyo) , seemed like a done deal. The place is old and most of the customers are salaryman that just...

My boyfriend and I planned to stay at a capsule hotel during our travels, to experience this novel form of accommodation only available in Japan. Some capsule hotels don't have a women's dorm, but this one did. It felt very safe, and my boyfriend and I didn't mind being separate for the night. If you're brave enough to be nude...

First time in a capsule hotel and we enjoyed it: the location in Osaka is very good to spent some time at night, the hotel provided all the ressources we could hope for (towel, toothbrush, soap, etc).

The hotel has pretty much everything you will need for your stay - from pajamas, to a simple / expected tooth brush! It was my first experience in a capsule hotel, but also in the combo came a "public shower" - of course men and women are separated! This is very common in Japan, specially because right after the shower...

“A pair of earplug is necessary if you're sensitive to noise. A large backpack is a better choice than a luggage case, and definitely bring as little as you can. The area isn't the best for solo female traveler (my taxi driver told me the area is 'very dangerous,' but I spent 2 days around the area and nothing bad happened really.)”
