The hotel is quite good, well located, clean and confortable. However, our reservation included breakfast and reception refused to give us the breakfast coupons. The hotel web page does not include an email address, so I could not file an official complain which I would have done instead of Trip Advisor. The quality of the English of the reception personnel... More

We stayed in Nagano for one night and that was probably one night too many. For a former Olympic town it's a pretty dull place with very little to do. This hotel is not expensive but not a great place to stay. The room in particular was pretty miserable and there are no restaurants around the hotel (other than a... More

We found the price on this hotel to be very good, although considering the relatively small size of Nagano I imagine there are quite a few others that would be closer to Nagano Station (a 15 minute walk away). There's not a lot of restaurants or bars immediately next to the hotel - but there are plenty within a 10... More

Probably one of the 2 best hotels in Nagano city. a few good restaurants, comfortable rooms and professional service. Location is good too, 10-15 minutes walk from the famous Zenkoji temple and the same distance from the train station too. I find it better then the metropolitan hotel, which beats this one, only by the location. Was the main hotel,... More

If you're looking for a good-quality Western style hotel in Nagano City, this is probably the best choice, offering surprisingly good value for the money. The service we were given was excellent, and staff were extremely friendly. At reception they were very accommodating, trying their utmost to satisfy our needs. As a result, we felt very welcome in the hotel.... More

The hotel consists of two sections: the foyer and what appears to be a relatively new tower above that; and what felt like an older adjacent tower. We found ourselves in the older section. The room was very small and right next to the elevator shaft (with associated clunking noises). After travelling in Japan for a month, we can honestly... More

Given the price we paid last minute on booking.com, I was expecting a tiny room with minimal services. SO wrong! This is an amazing hotel, with great views of the Nagano valley. International standard with Japanese character. Our room had opening windows, spacious storage, a big bathroom with Pula toiletries, great view, firm but comfy king bed. Would love to... More

I was very happy to select this hotel though it was not near the station. The view was perfect from my room .Unlike other Japanese hotels, single room had a double size (full size) bed.I had breakfast on the top floor restaurant which was quite scenic. Early check-in and late checkout provides plenty of time to rest after a long... More

I found this large city centre western-style hotel in Nagano city centre to be good value. I was visiting as a tourist in August which is outside of the winter-sports season and it cost me just under £100 in total for two nights. Located within a mile or so of the station, and the main central tourist site of Zenki-jo.... More
