A very big hotel. We had only a small room, but it was ok. There is a restaurant in the topfloor with excellent view, we didn’t go there. Its at walking distance to Zenko Ji and Nagano Station. Very friendly staff. We stayed two nights, because of the snow-monkeys. Its a quiet part of town, with cute little shops. I can imagine that during winter this place is more alive.
A very nice hotel, it is a business hotel that is very central to the city. The hotel has large rooms with very comfortable beds. There are plenty of seats in the room so you don't have to sit on the bed. The big surprise is breakfast, which is on the 16th floor. It offers great views of the city as you enjoy your breakfast.
arrived late for 1 night stay as part of Inspiring Vacations tour. Ideal location near train station, supermarket and eateries, which were limited at that hour. Our room on 9th floor consisted twin beds with plenty of room to open out bags and backpacks..In and out o/night so little time to visit city other than from bus departure
A short walk to the hotel (you could take a bus or taxi easily too). Our twin room was very clean with great views of the city and mountains. Breakfast buffet was extensive. Friendly staff. Well located for visiting Zenkotji temple and other restaurants.
My partner and I recently stayed at Hotel JAL overnight as we made plans to see the snow monkeys during our trip to Japan. We rented a car to drive to Nagano, parking is onsite and was easy to find and we were directed to a spot easily enough was approx $10 for the night AUD. Check in was quick and the staff were friendly. The room was small but an okay size for a Japanese Hotel. The location is great - 10 minutes walk from Zenko-ji Temple which is a must see and close to by to shops and restaurants and 7-11. Also, was just over an hour to drive to the Snow Monkey Park. Overall, good for a short stay.
Friendly and efficient service. Room was a good size for Japan. Double bed and space to unpack. Bath room adequate and very clean. Strong flow of hot water to shower or plunge within 10sec of turning tap, and no noticable lose of hot water during use. Breakfast on the top floor had great service, good selection quality and quantity available. Excellent view over city. I considered it good value.
The hotel is far from the train station, need to carry heavy luggage and walk for 15 minutes. It is a very small room with expensive rate and no breakfast. Must pay expensive breakfast which the price is equal to lunch or dinner size of meal. The toilet ventilator is spoilt, so it is noisy through out day and night stay non stop. Bed is sagging badly at the head part, which is not good for health. TV channels come with no English subtitles at all!
This is my first-time stay at this hotel for one night, Price is reasonable, location convenient, good amenities, room was small but it is a standard in Japan. Just 5 mins walk from the station and in the main street, many restaurants nearby, pubs, shops. In-room wifi was fast.
I injured my snowboarding and didn't have anyone with me to help. They took my 1am phone calls graciously and even found someone that spoke English. They promised to find me a taxi and crutches. When I called for an update at 7am and food, they don't have room service, they went to the store to get me food. In general, the customer service was above and beyond.
My wife and I were coming down from the mountains at Shiga-kogen, just NW of Nagano and needed a place to stay for one night. Great price, good amenities and perfect location. Less than .5 miles from Nagano station. ¥730 taxi ride or easy enough to walk. Near many restaurants, pubs and shops. In-room WiFi was fast. Room was small, but that is pretty standard for Japan. Only cost ¥7900 and had a western style double bed. Would highly recommend to any Nagano visitor, business or pleasure.
