Not too tidy as I expected. But the location, 1 min to Kyoto station is very good point. Because of SDG, the hotel explained, the room cleaning is once two days. No changed used towels should be considered.

The hotel is located right next to JR Kyoto Station. It's a clean, renovated structure. Its service is first rate. The staff is clearly mindful of covid 19 protocols and protection. I felt safe and protected. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved this hotel for so many reasons. The price was amazing for this quality hotel compared to others we stayed in across Japan. Could not have been more convenient to Kyoto train station as it's nearly on top of it and a 2 minute walk to Kyoto Tower. The staff were so very helpful and welcoming. The room was a little bigger than the others we stayed in across Japan. We stayed in a grand comfort double room and yes it was grand. The bathroom was amazing as was the bed. We felt like royalty as it was just beautiful and we didn't want for anything. Our adult children shared a country comfort twin room which was a bit more modern in styling but just a luxurious. We have nothing bad to say other than why didn't we stay longer!!!

My wife & I stayed 3 nights in a non-smoking twin room. Finding the hotel is easy. Come out of the train station via the central exit. Turn right & walk 2-3 mins and the hotel is right in front. Follow the hotel sign & take the escalator up to the first floor. Reception is on the right. The lobby lounge feels spacious & is dominated by a large lampshade. The front office staff who checked us in spoke good English & was very helpful. Our room on the 7th floor was surprisingly large for this class of hotel and was very clean and quiet. Staying at this location has many advantages. There are several shopping complexes and numerous cafes & restaurants connected to the train station. Getting to the highlights of Kyoto by bus, subway & train is really easy. A friend stayed in a more upmarket hotel nearby and we agreed the Kyoto Century was better value.

Stayed here for a night while travelling around Japan. This was our second visit - we last stayed about 4 years ago. The hotel is very convenient for the station and also for travelling around by bus eg the 100 bus which goes to many of the tourist sites leaves from just in front of the station (adult fixed fare 230 yen pay on bus). We had a grand comfort superior double room. There was not much space, largely because there was a coffee table and two chairs as well as a desk chair which made it difficult to find anywhere to put your cases. Room very clean, nice bathroom (though bath very short) good shower, separate toilet. Breakfast buffet was good with western and Japanese choices, though not as amazing as we remembered it from 4 years ago. We thought the hotel was reasonably priced for a city centre hotel and the room had everything we needed eg kettle, fridge, toiletries. Would stay again, mainly because of its very convenient location.

Kyoto Century offers top notch services and hospitality comparable to any other internationally renowned luxury hotels. We were a group of 7 travelers with a toddler. Booking a child friendly restaurant that accommodates a big group in Kyoto wasn’t an easy task, but the concierge provided us timely and patient assistance until all restaurant reservations were settled before the trip. My 3 year-old nephew got sick during the trip and the hotel was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to take care of all our requests. We will definitely recommend staying in Kyoto Century Hotel.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and efficient. The Breakfast Buffet was amazing and had a variety of selections. The room was a little tight for two people but well appointed and had everything that was necessary . The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. They also offered a free smartphone to use while staying at the hotel - which was very helpful if you don't have a pocket wifi that was consistent.

I have never stayed in the Ritz but I have walked through one in NY. Hmmmm the hotel is fancy, very fancy and elegant. I would probably say this is one of the more upscale hotels I have ever stayed during my travels. Not that I have traveled a lot but trust me its nice. The hotel is maybe a 5 minute walk from the train station. You can walk to the Tower and the Temple from the hotel. There is a 24 hour convenience store I think it’s a Lawson’s or 7/11 close by the hotel also right next to the train station. The lobby was Amazing. It host the buffet, the size of the buffet could be compared to that of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. The staff make you feel like you are an important VIP right from the time you step through the doors. The rooms were of very good size considering the average rooms in Tokyo are on the smaller side. It’s first class all the way in this hotel. From the time you enter to the details in the room. It is very modern and European like feel. Bed is very comfortable with lots of pillows. This was also spacious considering the average size of bathrooms in Japan hotels. This even was a window that looks into your room or vise versa for a little voyeuristic feeling or not. LoL. It has a shower and bathtub. The shower connects to the bathtub and both are nice in size.

This hotel is literally located steps away from the JR Kyoto station. We checked in around 11:30pm being flown in late and we had no issues at check in. Staff were so friendly and courteous. We always get assistances and helps from the concierge and front desk on transportation and sightseeing advices around the city and the surroundings of Kyoto. Breakfast was ok, not the best one I had amongst other Japanese hotels in Osaka and Tokyo. One thought I would complain was the internet. It was close to having no coverage at all in the room. We stayed on 5th floor not far from the elevator facing the JR station side, and the only area in our room that had wifi coverage was the toilet room. Little disappointed about that but it wasn’t the end of the world for me as I have a roaming card and the hotel also provides a handy phone for you to use.

My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights. The hotel looks amazing, as did our hotel room, even if it was a bit small. The laundry service at the hotel was simple to use. All of the staff were happy to assist with anything we needed, and were very friendly and polite. The hotel is very close to Kyoto station too. The service and hospitality at Kyoto Century Hotel went above and beyond our expectations, and we would absolutely stay there again the next time we travel to Japan!
