3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2015 via mobile

Very close to the famous temple
Within waking distance
Nice talk in the morning but for us it was raining heavily.

Bad: small room and no place to open my luggage.
Bath is below my expectation with a strong smell of swimming pool.
Ac is very loud at night.
Trash can is way too tiny.
For three girls, only one mirror in the room... Can you believe this?

3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 19, 2012

Stayed 2 nights in May with my husband. Since it was mid of week, a few guests seemed to stay there. We only see 2 gourps other than us.

Number of rooms are 10 or so. 3 story building next to Kodaiji temple overviewing Kodaiji grave yard. From Kodaiji to Yoshinoya is up-hill but slope is not so heavy. Very quiet surroundings. 100 m from Nene-no-michi street to Yoshinoya is a bit dark, so women may feel scary in night time walking alone.

Room we stayed was 10 tatami-mats room, bigger than we booked (up-graded). Enough space for 2 and acceptable for 3, I think. 2 chairs for relax, small fridge with drink, in-room toilet but no in-room bath. Phone, TV, closet, tea set, Yukata, towel. Due to it's location, next to Kodaiji-temple grave yard, view from room include grave yard...We do not open Shoji carten after dark since it's a bit spookey. Room charge is approx 21000 JPY per night per person including dinner and breakfast.

Regarding facility, public bath is...
