Air conditioner is not working inside room. Poor ventilation in both bedroom and bathroom. Even you open the window, the room is stuffy. Not helpful check in staff. Poor quality of breakfast and with few choice. Old room and bathroom. The only one pillow provided is not comfortable. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Wifey and I were passing through Kobe and decided to stay at the Kobe Grand Palais Hotel. We’ve stayed there in the past and thought it was comfortable and a pretty good value. The location is good, as other have noted. Close to Harbourland and JR eki (station). Plus, wifey loves their Viking asa gohan (breakfast buffet). This time around...

It takes a few minutes to walk to the hotel from the Kobe Station, not the Shin Kobe Station. It locates on the Harbor Land. There are several shopping centers around. The room is small like other hotels. We booked the rooms on the harbor view. It was blocked by the tall buildings around. We recommend this hotel for tourists.

This hotel is directly opposite Kobe JR station. It is kind of "gateway" to the shopping area. The hotel seems to be old yet it has a good location. The hotel staff are friendly and the room is tidy. As this is a older hotel in the region, the size of the room bigger than newer hotel. The only bad...

This is a good hotel. Don't get me wrong. But ... we had problems with the male (manager?) on the 17th Floor during breakfast. He always have a lesser than happy mood. I was asking for hot water, he did not seems bother at all. When I was asking him if he can understand English, rudely reply us NO. Very...

First impression was easy-access lobby, easy to bring the luggage into, with smooth slope and marble floor. Next was the key, easy to handle and open, then put it on the small tray beside the door to switch on the light inside the room. (Do not forget to bring it with you when leaving the room!) Cozy room, bed to...

I wish Tripadvisor would let you choose something between "average" and "very good". This is simply a good Japanese business hotel. It's definitely not very good but it is also not quite average. I have slept in average Japanese business hotels and they're not this well-kept, well-equipped etc. I had one of the budget rooms which was of a decent...

My wife and I stayed in this hotel with our 2yo earlier this week. The location is excellent with covered walkways to Kobe Station and Harbourland. The price is right for the level of hotel. The room (twin with two double beds) was bigger than average for a Japanese hotel. We were on the 15th floor and the view to...

Visited for 4 nights August 2016 with a four and seven year old. The hotel was in a great location, in fact it could not have been better placed...the best.... room was very clean but a bit small. We used the public spa which was clean and very relaxing. This hotel is well suited for the local shopping center and...

My first trip to Japan. This hotel is in an excellent location. Took the train south to our plant in Akashi each morning. The station is almost attached to the hotel-VERY convenient! Close by is the amazing Harborland for shopping and dining. Mind boggling array of choices. The hotel is comfortable (even the small room I had). (AC could have...
