Located right next to the coach stop, Nakanobo Zuien is said to be the best in Arima Onsen. It is quite pricey, but definitely worth your every penny. The hotel itself is nicely decorated in a very warm tone. Each guestroom is named in local wordings. The room itself is not very big but its very enough and well equipped.... More

unbeatable location, service, food and onsen. must be a 5 star luxury hotel. JUST TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. Among all good things, the service and facilities stand out. they even offer a free shuttle services bringing us to the ropeway station at the top of the mountain. yes, the hotel is pricy but definitely worth it.

Stayed here for a night with high expectations given its quite expensive. The place is very nice and the room is huge. Dinner and breakfast were all in room and meals were absolutely delicious. Onsen is very clean and relaxing. Would recommend this place if you have a few extra bucks to splurge. FYI - The place itself doesn't accept... More

Amazing place and service. A little bit pricey but well worth it. The staff speak English well and cares guests. When we went out for a little shopping just at the 7-11 right across the street at night, the front desk provided us Japanese coats. The restaurant is good, and the view of the garden is beautiful. On upper floors... More

You will expect a high price for a stay in hot spring hotel in Japan. But I love to do it as the food included and the service they provide will make the value up. This one is outstanding. First it is very close to the bus stop of Arima. And just next to the shopping street. The hot spring... More

We took express bus one hour from Umeda directly. As the hotel was just next to the terminus, it was very convenient for us as we took the luggage and stayed overnight. This is a hot spring hotel, you can enjoy in public or private bath. For private bath, it cost ¥2000 per hour but suitable for couple or family... More

Reserved a room for after cruise. Arrived around 5 in the afternoon. It only takes couple minutes walk from the bus stop. There is a person greed you in the front door and lead you all the way to the lobby. You don't need to wait in line. You offered towel, green tea, sweet while you seated comfortably for them... You get what you pay for in this hot spring hotel. It's quite pricey but the service is really good. Pros - 5 minutes walk from the train station - right next to shops - good view from the room - excellent breakfast - pretty good hot spring and massage chair cons: - the staff doesn't speak English very well

I am Japanese - and I think I may have a bit higher standards for Japanese Inns. I don't like those which use low-quality china, make bland food, lack quality service. Zuien may be on a bit pricier side, but the service, hot spring, and food is all good. They are good but not in a snobbish way. They will... More
