Well positioned to visit various sights. The staff spoke very little or no English. They did however assist with a UK adaptor which came in handy. Good for 1 night stay. Approx 10 min taxi from station or 25 min walk.

Great location. Close to train station and to Peace Memorial park. Very clean and spacious room. Very reasonable price. We only stayed there for 2 nights, another day or two in Hiroshima would be recommended.

Hiroshima downtown is quite small. This hotel is within walking distance to the memorial park. Like all Japanese hotel, the room was small but clean and comfortable. I was on the 14th floor and the view was ok. The shopping lane is only 5 minutes away. Quite a few restaurants in the back streets. Like other reviewers, I like their... More

We stayed here because nothing else was available. Given a choice I would go elsewhere but that said, this is ok. The room itself was beautifully redecorated and very clean. The bathroom needs updating and was very clean but smelled of mold/mildew. The woman at the front desk came to my room when I complained and said they all smell... More

no frills hotel which is clean. room is small but not too cram. reasonably located - about 15 mins walk to Peace boulevard, 5 mins walk to tram stop and within 10 mins of shopping areas. there are quite a few restaurants just behind the hotel. service is quite good overall. however, they are stickler for check in time.

Fairly standard hotel, good service and the room was what you'd expect. The best thing was the blackout curtains which allowed us to catch up on lost sleep! It's walking distance from the peace park and dome but be aware that if you're traveling on one of the JR tourist passes that the only way to get from the train... More

This hotel is a great location and beautiful lobby. Asked for a non-smoking room and were told only smoking was available. The smoking room was unbearable to stay in and we ended up leaving and getting a different hotel. I'm sure the non smoking rooms are great. Just double check before booking if you don't like the smell of smoke.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting nearby Iwakuni. Not a good decision for the commute, but we would stay here while in Hiroshima again. The breakfast has a mix of Western and Japanese dishes and is very thorough. It opens at 6:30 and many people arrive at that time. The rooms are small, but typical for a large... More

We had a very pleasant stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel. The room was standard Japanese sized but with plenty of amenities... Comfortable, clean and modern rooms... wonderful staff who greet you as you are walking in and out... excellent location - 10 mins walk to tram station, shops, peace park. The only downside was that we didn't stay long enough... More

This hotel is situated a short walk away from the Peace Park and the Atomic Dome. A modern hotel on a reasonably quiet main road with several convenience stores right nearby - including two Family Mart. We had a twin room which, although small, had everything we needed (except drawers!). The room was clean and modern, with a table, armchair... More
