The hotel's a 15-minute walk from Hiroshima station but it's well worth it. Our spacey minimalist Japanese room was covered with tatami mats, sliding doors, flat screen TV, a low wooden table and 3 pillows on the floor. A big cupboard for the bedding (futons), a smaller one for us with face towels, yakuta (house kimono), free toothbrush and toothpaste,...

If you are traveling and trying to keep the cost low, look no further. It's a room with a bed, and no bathroom. Old school AC, and key adapter that powers everything with the stick tied to your key... The location however is very nice! It's walking distance to most of the shopping areas. Enjoy...

The lobby was nice and I noticed an old Famicom (Nintendo) in the corner which is probably newer than the decor, sheets or anything but the tvs in the "rooms". The 1st thing you notice when stepping out the elevator is the smell, it's probably a cross between cigarettes and mothballs and a dash of asbestos too. the rooms are...

Only showers on the first floor, Communal toilets on each floor, No wifi connection except in lobby, Prison cell bedroom with 1950s furniture falling apart, Staff not helpful, I've paid a quarter of the price of this for hostels which are 20 times better. Don't bother, yuck!

This place is the definition of budget travel accommodation, if you can't afford more, I'd suggest it, but if you can- stay away. The hotel itself looks like it hasn't been touched since the 70s, and many of the floors and rooms stink of cigarettes (I am a smoker and it bothered me, I can't imagine how non-smokers would take...

we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. From the hotel you can walk to peace memorial park and its not very far from Osaka castle. It is also close to shopping areas. The room was ok but it needs to be upgraded. Bathroom is clean and staff was helpful.

Very prompt on check in and the following morning also. Lack of a private toilet a negative and it's not exactly the swishest place in Hiroshima, but it is one of the cheapest and is extremely central also. 2 minutes of the main shopping street but also nice and quiet. For what you're paying, it's a good deal.

Hotel is in excellent location (one block from the main shopping/restaurant street), and prices were very reasonable for a backpacker who wanted a little more than shared room 15 kilometers from the city center. Cleaning everyday, 3 minimarkets with 1 minute walk, memorial park appr 15min walking, main railwaystation 25min walk / 5min with bus
