Do not stay here - I am writing this at this hotel right now. I cannot sleep because it is 74F and the hotel controls the thermostat to your room and they are too cheap and greedy to turn it down. They say they do not understand your English as an excuse for not fixing the problem- they know I...

We liked this hotel; the communal areas were well decorated and more interesting than many Japanese hotels. It had an attractive water feature outside the lobby. The staff had better English than many other hotels. The room was plainer and more basic, but had all the necessities and was good value at 5,000 yen per night.

no fuss hotel that is walking distance to the station. rooms are small, typical of japan and did not include breakfast. we paid around 700Y i think for a choice of japanese or american breakfast at a japanese restaurant downstairs. There seems to be a nice cafe at the lobby with cascading waterfalls as backdrop but we didn't get to...

We stayed here only one night and was impressed with how considerate the staff were. It is quite close to the JR Hiroshima station and there's even a large grocery nearby. The rooms do feel a bit dated but rooms were clean and comfortable. Basic amenities were provided.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this hotel anymore. I was white happy to until now. There is no laundry service due to the New Year Holiday. Was told to go to a coin laundry some distance away. You get charged extra for this time of the year in Japan but this hotel provided a reduced service. I would like to email...

Nice enough hotel, and staff very helpful (if you can find someone who speaks English) They have a really late check in time of 3pm, so be prepared for this. Our room has fine, quite a few cracks around the room, we put this down to earthquake damage! Breakfast was strange considering that we asked for western style, sausage, yoghurt,...

We stayed at this hotel because it's within walking distance from the train station (it took us 10 minutes maximum) and because we wanted to try what it is like to stay in a Japanese style room which, somehow, it's a funny experience at least for some nights. As you can see in the attached pictures, the room was big...

The hotel is about a 7 minute walk from the JR station which makes it convenient for arrival and departure from Hiroshima. We took the train to go to the Mazda factory for a tour and then to go to Miyajima Island. When we returned to the city we took the tram to the Peace Park and area. After walking...

The nice thing about this hotel is it's proximity to the Hiroshima Station - a walk away . The rooms were average . Breakfast was a set meal and very basic with very little for vegetarians . No seconds . None or isolated English - speaking staff . However Japanese are helpful , so one does get by . Hotel...

It wasn't the best location but it was manageable. We had to get the tram to go to the centre and work out the buses after as the tram stops around 11pm (or slightly later) The rooms were clean and very big. The only and thing about the hotel was the fact that there was no wifi anywhere - not...

“If you have time to kill waiting for your room, take the local train to Kure, it,s on the coast and is a major ship building area, especially during ww2. It has a number of really good museums, we went to the Yamato (battleship) museum and the nearby submarine museum, both well worthy a visit. Of course the Atomic bomb museum and peace gardens are a must but they are usually included in any tour.”
