I'm sorry for this review but I would have liked to know if it was me... I have been sleeping in hostels in Osaka and Kyoto for the last 8 days. I thought I'd treat myself and book a hotel and have a nice rest here. But actually, despite looking super shiny from outside and the room be perfect and basic (what I wanted), that mattress was really in a need of retirement. It's the worst sleep I have had. The mattress destroyed my back, the pillow seemed made of concrete and woke up with a twisted neck. The staff as really helpful and friendly thou and the location is great. But sleep quality.... really bad. Because of this, I would not recommend nor stay again, and go to a hostel.
Its a pleasant hotel with large rooms, updated bathrooms and a very very cool location. Walking distance from the peace memorial and markets and a beautiful canal behind. I loved the breakfast and the hospitality.
Close to memorial park.. Very clean.. Just aircon too noisy and bathtube very small... Everything else is really good... Would come back... Also breakfast is ok, but there are a lot of places around where you can also start the day...
Our room was standard Japanese hotel style, clean, double bed against one wall and a couch made up for an additional bed. Though small, the layout of the hotel room ensured we were not falling over luggage. Desk area, cabinet, small fridge, TV, Elect Jug with small green tea bowls. Wi-Fi OK. Windows not able to be opened. Spotless, well maintained Laundry at basement level. Bottled water supplied. Delicious Breakfast at Yen 510 buffet style was excellent; bacon, eggs, sausage, yoghurt, fruit, cold salad selection, miso soup and Japanese accompaniments, toast pastries, juice, tea varieties and coffee. The energetic lady overseeing breakfast was efficient and friendly, spoke excellent English, and was a skilled multi-tasker; she described herself as ‘a restless woman’; she certainly ensured breakfast ran smoothly; buffet was replenished, vacated tables cleared promptly, while still finding time to exchange pleasantries with morning diners. Closest to the hotel is Tourist Loop bus Stop No 7;-free with JR pass. From Hiroshima Station Tram/Electric Railway Line 6, Yellow Line, (used mainly by local commuters) Yen 160 a ride, runs until late. The Tourist loop bus service finishes service around 17:30-18:00.…
Very convenient location. It's a short walk to the museum/Peace Park. The hotel staff was extremely helpful. One particular gentleman spoke perfect English and made our check-in very smooth. The room was spotless and comfortable. The bathroom is very small but the two of us had no problem sharing. The carafe of ice water upon our arrival was much appreciated as Japan is very hot in July. The price was the most reasonable we encountered during our two-week trip. We did not eat at the hotel. There did not appear to be many restaurants in the immediate area but we walked from the Peace Park to a shopping/restaurant area where we ate delicious okonomiyaki. We took a taxi from the train station to the hotel as we had luggage and weren't sure if another mode would work for us. The hotel arranged a taxi for us the morning of our departure as we were leaving quite early. All in all it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hiroshima.…
