This hotel is just diagonally across ANA Sapporo hotel (where the airport limo bus drops you) and JR Sapporo station, subway and ESTA all within walking distance. Courtyard was lovely, great for pictures and gives off a very old English extravagance/charm. Reception/Front desk was not easily visible as soon as you enter the hotel. Check-in was a breeze but staff...

Hotel felt like something out of Disney land with well-appointed internal furnishings that transported us to another world every time we stepped in after a day of sightseeing or shopping. Location-wise, it is as good as it gets for the price and about 2 mins walk away from Sapporo station with all the major malls in the area such as...

Stayed here for 2 nights with special rates from Agoda ( only 6,300 yen per night with breakfast) ! The main advantage of this hotel is its location - 0nly 2 mins walk to Sapporo station, Esta shopping center and also the Chuo tour bus terminal. It has an attractive bright green roof, so it helps to get your bearing...

It has a very European feel, and it may be more appealing to mature guests. While it offered comfortable accommodations, many areas need urgent refurbishing, particularly the hallways which look dark and dreary. The function rooms where breakfast was served likewise needs refurbishing. Room 719 was a corner room that was quite spacious. The pillows were a tad too hard...

Second time living in Monterey, last time is in Osaka. If several hotels are on a par, I will choose Monterey. The days I was living was snowy, I felt in a Harry Potter world. The center post office is close by, I sent quite a lot of thing back home.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It is at the very convenient location, only 5 min walking distance to the Sapporo JR Station. This hotel has an old, nostalgia atmosphere and very English. The size of our room is reasonable and we had two single beds in the room. Beds were very comfortable and bedding and towels were...

The hotel was a quick walk from the Sapporo station (can also be accessed by Exit 18 but no escalator, only stairs) about 5 - 7 min. The hotel was easily recognizable but the entrance was not. Staff wasn't very friendly and welcoming, no smiles. The family room was beautiful though, very English and very spacious. Toilet and bathroom were...

This hotel is very Western inside and out and I liked its consistency. In particular, I liked its elevators. The room is also spacious and comfortable. Its morning buffet is something. It offers a very wide variety of dishes, Western as well as Japanese.

My family of 12 had 4 rooms booked for a 5-night stay at Hotel Monterrey Sapporo. We loved the "old world" vibe but especially liked that the beds and pillows were comfortable after a full days worth of touring. The rooms each had 1.5 baths, which was convenient if 2 people had to use the toilet or get ready in...
