The front desk at Novotel were one of the most friendly staff we met throughout our trip to Japan in February. Great room as well! We had a deluxe twin at level 17 with a great view of the Nakajima Park. Lovely hotel with great staff!

Thanks to Ms Yui Nakayama, I glad to stay at this hotel, this hotel is not to far from subway station, the reception guys are very helpful to explain which direction is the best for us to do at sapporo, with bus or subway. The room cleanliness excellent. I like this hotel for stay.

At first, I thought that Novotel Sapporo was just like any other Novotel elsewhere, but this was different. As I checked in, my family was greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff/front desk. The room was very cozy and nice. Bathroom was big and it was nice that we the water was drinkable. I'm also impressed with the... More

After a long day touring the city, we (2 couples) went up to the Bar 21 for a nice cold beer. The bar area was small and 2 tables at the windows were "reserved". Throughout our stay, these tables remained unoccupied. While the beer prices were decent, we were slapped with a bill listing a "table charge" of 1080 yen... More

As I have heard that room sizes in Japanese hotels are typically small, I made it a point to choose rooms that are relatively larger than the average. And Novotel Sapporo offered a 22 sq m room in standard. Lucky for us, we were further upgraded. We had a really large room with a beautiful view of the park. The... More

We stayed at the novotel sapporo for just one night at the end of a week long stay in Hokkaido. The hotel staff were very kind and friendly and could all speak great English. We had requested a non smoking room which can be difficult to get in Japan but upon arrival we were advised it was no problem and... More

My husband and I were expecting a decent stay at Novotel Sapporo but we were pretty disappointed with what we got. Firstly, the staff at the reception were not able to converse well in English. Given that it is Japan, we did not expect people to speak fluent English. However, the staff from the hotels that we stayed in prior... More

Building is quite old and rooms were do tiny that the 2 single beds were literally stuck next to each other. Usually bottled water is provided but it wasn't. It also was not close to the station as I expected. Probably 10 minute walk and but difficult for us to transport our luggage from station to this hotel especially on... More

View of either the mountains (nice in the morning) or Sapporo TV Tower (nice at night) from the windows depending on the room you get. We stayed in the Standard Double Room and some friends stayed at the Twin Room and both rooms were great. There's a safe in the closet and also Febreeze, which is a nice touch! Free... More
