I stayed at the hotel while attending a conference at the China National Silk Museum, an easy walk about a mile away. It's a modern property with spacious rooms in the beautiful West Lake area. The air conditioning is tremendously effective, not a given in Hangzhou hotels, the refrigerator is handy, the shower is excellent, and the bathroom is clean.... More

Hotel is next to Westlake and 15 mins walk to Leifeng Pagoda. Room was clean and of a good size. Walls were quite thin. We could hear a lady in the next room coughing, and people talking. Breakfast buffet was disappointing in terms of spread and taste. The tables were mostly big round ones that seat 8 pax (you need... More

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and would say that the location is its best asset. The room was adequate but the bed was hard like most in China. There were lots of children staying on our floor and, although very friendly, they were running up and down the hall until about 11:00pm. The breakfast was good and... More

This is a really nice and great hotel in convenient location near Westlake. It has a modern design, and it's really nice design - not a one more boring "business" hotel, there is clear designers touch felt all over the room and lobby area. It smells good everywhere in room, and bathroom is clean (which is important regarding to hotels... More

It provides great facilities just meet our needs -- clean, nice shower, cozy bed and free wifi inside the room. Rooms are exactly the same as pictures show. The only thing is free bottle water can be more, cuz you will need more... More

Overall we were disappointed with this hotel which used to be very good. The hotel is set almost adjacent to the Western Lake affording good links to the parkland around the Western Lake and in relatively close proximity to the causeway that spans the lake. The lobby was smart, but arriving in the room, there was an odour of damp... More

We arrived by train from Shanghai and picked up a Taxi at the station that took us directly to the hotel. We were travelling independently and not part of a group. The clue is to have the name and address of the hotel, written on a card in Chinese that you can give to the Taxi driver, else you are... More

“I was in room 611. The room was clean, everything worked except for getting my universal plug to work in the outlets in that room. Besides the charging issue, I would state that that room is a decent one. It faces away from the main street so the noise level is also a bit less vs. other rooms facing the main road.”
