Stayed here for one night over the weekend on a trip to Hangzhou, I would say this hotel is reasonable priced compared to the other hotels, and situated close to West Lake. We walked over to the West Lake, and also rode Ofo bikes from the hotel straight down to Hefang street and back again. This hotel is situated slight off the main road, but easy to find and is more private. Rooms were nice, value for money, and had an interesting bathroom and toilet concept in the hotel room :) Only negative was that it's slightly far (15 min walk) from the metro stop (Fengqi Road station). Overall recommended hotel in Hangzhou!

This a hotel not a lot of people would care to take a second look. I was one of them. However, I decided to book this hotel pure for the convenience of taking the Airport Shuttle to Xiashan Airport. This hotel is right behind the Grand Zejiang Hotel, but a third of the price. It is a simple hotel with basic facilities. The room has no fridge, but it is alright with us as we only need to stay overnight there. It is clean, quiet and with adequate. The nearby shops and eateries are good, and we visited the local wet market which was very interesting. Worth considering for budget travelers who do not need facilities they dont use, like swimming pool, 24 hours restaurant, gym or the like. Happy with my decision to book into this hotel.

This is a fine small economy hotel for experienced China travelers. It's probably not the best place for you if you are new to China and don't speak at least a little bit of the language. I saw one other Westerner during my stay, and he was having an awful time at the front desk over an elementary matter, with no English help apparently forthcoming. (I did assist.) The hotel is hard for drivers to find because it's tucked away in an alley. Your driver will almost certainly have to stop and inquire after he gets close. Be sure you have the name and address in Chinese, as well as the hotel's phone number. Being in an alley means it is quiet. Hangzhou, incidentally, is a very difficult city for taxis. They are always in short supply. You need to make an effort to figure out and use the bus, which actually is very convenient as well as being faster and less expensive. There are lots of terrific small restaurants near this hotel, most of them being locals joints. I found a little place specializing in hun dun 馄钝 ("won ton") just around the corner. They had a dozen different kinds and I went there several days for lunch. One of the local people with whom I shared a table made me promise not to share the location casually with foreign tourists. It is their secret. Rooms are basic but clean and modern. Don't go expecting The Ritz. The building is only 7 stories tall, but it does have an elevator. There's breakfast available on premises for an extra 15 Yuan. It was very simple and certainly nothing special. You can do better outside unless you are in a rush. There's a sit-down restaurant next door, adjacent to the hotel, but I didn't try it. Many convenience stores 超市 and even a blind massage shop a block away. Bus stops for several lines are outside on the nearest main streets (Yan'An Road 延安路.)
