Stayed in this hostel for 3D2N with my wife during our return to Hangzhou. My experience can be summarized as below: What's impressive: - Hostel located at a quiet section Datong Alley just about 200m away from the busy Hefang Street, and it's nearby to West Lake. Nearest metro "Ding'an Road" station is slightly over 1km away (~20 mins by...

We stayed in a family room. The room and the bathroom are tiny. The staff are nice and they gave us advice on where to visit. The common area is nice and spacious, so it's good for mingling around. I would say that it's still a good place to lodge in.

Rooms are simple and dated, but as a budget hostel it has got all what's needed. Bedding and towels were fresh, breakfast is available from the menu and is freshly cooked with portions of a very decent size. Location is great for west lake and snack street.

Good location, the staff is friendly and helpful and the public area is good as well. The room was nice, but the internet was very poor. It was working well just in the public areas. They rent bicycles and this is a good idea to go around the lake.

It's very disappointing to see the staff's respond after my luggage got soaked in water by the rain leaked in from the skylight. No any staff showed sympathy or care, instead, from the reception to the manager, they kept asking "why did you put your luggage under the skylight?“ Which I didn't. The cleaning lady moved my luggage while doing...

Nice, quiet location on a beautiful pedestrian street. A little less than 1km from the closest metro station, and about 1km from the West Lake. Nice, large common area. Attic bedrrom was good size and very quiet. Showers are two floors down, but there are toilets on the 4th floor. All the staff were good. Superfast wifi. Many guests didn't...

We had planned to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 1 week. We were very happy at this clean and quiet hostel. Room was small but comfortable. Had a kettle and hairdryer in the room, good daily housekeeping. Staff were very helpful for planning outings, spoke good English. Nice lounge but beers overpriced. Recommended.

And every night there is night market, very interesting. Drum Tower, Hefang Market very close. You can rent bike to explore the city, it's around 2-3km from westlake but very...
