We stayed in the 2 bed room with private bath, so I cannot speak to the other rooms or dorms. The place is small and off from the main roads, but is centrally located and accessible. Everything was clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly, most spoke decent English. Free drinking water from a dispenser to refill your bottles.... More

This charming little hostel is niced spoted in the Green Lake area, the old and cooler part of Kunming. The staff is very nice, absolutely dedicated to customers and can speak really good english. And all that smiling ! The dormitory was the best i've seen in China, the common bathroom too. Rooms maybe a bit expensive but im sure... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my time staying at this hostel, the breakfast was great although I wish they still had a restaurant onsite (read my review regarding the new venue) as I'm sure it would have been better run by these people. The room was fantastic, clean towel EVERY day(!), an amazing shower and really comfortable wide bed with a degree... More

Location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from the central lake of the city, near the old market and the shopping area. Rooms have different prices: we stayed in two different rooms at third and second floor: they were both good with spacious baths. Staff speaks a very good English and can help you with tickets or private vans. Good western... More

If you are looking for friendly and English speaking service in a convenient location, it is the right place for you. I have been several times since 2014 and I always like to go back. I have been disappointed about the recent renovation because now the restaurant has been reduced to a small but cozy cafe and the pizza has... More

The manager of this hostel is exceptional! She came to meet us from the bus from Dali and waited for more than an hour as our bus was delayed. The room was narrow with two single beds end to end but the beds were wide and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The hostel staff were friendly and helpful and the location... More

Did not stay here, but was allowed the opportunity to sample amazing customer service at this establishment. Allison went out of her way to help me during my stay in China. She provided a "breath of fresh air", a much needed cup of joe and a homelike environment when I stumbled upon her door. Thank you for your kindness! And... More

Our room was right across from a school. The children scream from very early morning and you can't have sunlight in your room unless you want them staring straight into the bedroom. Room was small and shower smelled weird. Overpriced for what it is; there are other hostels for half the price in the area that are better.
